"An Ancient Park on the Edge of the City Declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1985, the Jardin Menarawas created in the mid-12th century by the Almohad dynasty. Since then, its gardenshavebeen added to and embellished by varying degrees for other sultans but always centered around a huge, flat reflecting pool, which captures the Atlas Mountains in the most sensational way on a clear day and forms the focus of a space that covers nearly 250 acres. An elegant pavilion was installedduring the Saadian rule ofthe 18th century and proveda popular summer escape from the heat among city dignitaries. Unlike other, more formal gardens of the city, Menara’s vast olive groves, orange orchards, and cypresses feel more naturaland create a trueescape from the fray. Although extremely popular with picnicking Moroccan families in the afternoons, the place isblessedly free of tourists and a lovely, peaceful place for a stroll."

Nothing much to see here and certainly not on the to-do list. It's basically a lake with a building in front. Takes about 45 mins max to go around and take some pics. To enter the building, there is ticket which in my opinion is no worth it. The entrance is surrounded by huge Olive farms. The place is guarded by some cool looking cops on horsebacks.

Olive gardens, fresh fruit juice, huge water reservoir and lots of shade for family picnic.

Disgusting. Wow what an absolute mess this place is. Everything is falling apart. Trash sitting around, structures with huge holes in them… do not waste your time here. I recommend you go to the Hotel Mamunia and walk around their huge perfectly maintained grounds.

Lovely gardens, we had a lovely stroll around the water and the gardens. There are shops where you can buy drinks and souvenirs if you want. This place is really beautiful and right next to the airport so you often see plans flying right over the pavilion.

Meh, not bad.
The park felt a bit unstructured but the interior of the building was decent, the overall experience didn’t quite live up to the hype.
It’s an okay visit, but not something i’d go out of my way for.

A nice and beautiful area, with lots of palms and a very big pond. Looks better from the air and on stock pictures. It’s generally impressive because of the story and the place, but I wouldn’t recommend placing it on top of must-does if you only staying over a shorter period.

Large orchards of olive trees surrounding the building. We went on a cloudy day so couldnt see the atlas mountains behind the building but took a nice stroll around the lake. Not much else to do here.
