"The nicest way to say it is that Tel Aviv still has plenty of room in its hospitality scene for stylish, contemporary boutique hotels. That said, the Mendeli Street Hotel doesn’t need to be graded on a curve. This confident refurbishment of a Sixties hotel, two minutes’ walk from the beach, would be a hit just about anywhere — no less for its friendly, sunny disposition than for its thoughtfully composed visual style." - Tablet Hotels

Great location by the Tel Aviv beach. Rooms are very small and the service is mediocre at best. We stayed with a group of students, were made to feel we were not wanted there, were remarked about coming back to our room from the beach with towels on our shoulders, and, in general, the staff was not helpful. Breakfast is great, but the mix of buffet and waiters was conceited.

The breakfast was really good.the room had two main problems:1. No audio with connection to the smartphone2. You could not darken the room, we had light from outside from 6 in the morning.other then this, clean room nice service. The room was a bit too small

This hotel was the perfect place for us to spend 10 days during our trip to Tel Aviv Rooms are not big but super comfortable and clean Staff is amazing - friendly and helpful And breakfast was just WOW - best breakfast I had at any hotel ever. (We also had dinner one night there which was super nice) It’s perfectly located - like 3 minutes walk to the beach but it’s on a tiny street with very little traffic so pretty quiet, Dizengoff square is also like 5 minutes walk and in between there are tons of dining options and things to do. It’s also a 16+ hotel so no kids running around which makes it even more enjoyable Loved our stay there and will definitely be back

Great little gem some step away from the beach. Very nice staff. The room wasn't very big but clean, nicely decorated and the bed was comfy. Very good breakfast ( and especially amazing!!!! on Friday and Saturday). Will definitely come back !!

Best stay in Tel Aviv by far !!!!!! Price✔️location✔️service✔️ What a great experience we had ..from the moment we stepped in through our stay for the week . Doron the hotel manager and the entire staff members gave their absolute service to make sure we are pampered. Attention to details was the main point of difference What a gem . Well done 👍 Thank you 🙏🌸

The location and cleanliness was good. Very close to the beach and there's a great burger place across the road. The room was quite small and there wasn't much room for luggage- more suitable for carry on trolleys. The windows likewise was too small to ventilate the room or enjoy the 'city views' stated on the website. There was some nice gestures with a glass of bubbles and chocolates upon check in, however the website also showed there is a gym, whereas this has apparently ceased to exist for years now. We told the manager that had we known this was the case we would not have booked the hotel as we require to do daily physiotherapy and needed the gym. He compensated us with a Friday breakfast which was great in quantity and variety. Another issue we had was a slow room service and on going miscommunication with the staff. On our first day we waited for 2 hours for things to be brought, even though we had gone down to reception twice. Overall I feel that the hotel is nice but did not meet our expectations unfortunately.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mendeli Street Hotel and it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making check-in seamless and stress-free. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully designed with modern amenities. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. Breakfast was a highlight, with a wide variety of delicious options to suit all tastes. The location was perfect, with easy access to the city center and beach. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable, always ready to assist with recommendations or special requests. Special thanks to the hotel’s manager, Doron! I would highly recommend Mendeli Street Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, stylish, and welcoming place to stay. I can’t wait to return!

I come to Tel Aviv once a year and have stayed in several boutique hotels. There is something special about this hotel—the reception staff. They were very friendly and welcoming. And they helped me arrange transportation to my final destination. The location is excellent—near the beach but one doesn’t pay beachfront prices. The room was small but adequate. Their amenities are above average. Bonus: The Mashya restaurant is located within the hotel. It is SUPERIOR (5 stars). Make a reservation if you can! I plan to stay at the Mendeli Street Hotel again next year!
