"Located on a pretty lakefront expanse in Loch Haven Cultural Park, this museum draws visitors with an impressive collection of folk art. Browse constantly changing exhibits on all aspects of American art, then pop by the gift store and shop curios dedicated to the genre. The museum also features a lovely outdoor sculpture garden and hosts the popular Indie-Folkfest on its grounds every February."

Interesting exhibits. This museum was open earlier than other art museums in the area on Saturdays, and admission was only $5. The sculpture garden was also nice, and much larger than it seems. On a pleasant central Florida day, it's a nice walk. Friendly staff. Highly recommend pausing to watch the education video on the tablet in the Earl Cunningham exhibit. They also have tote bags available at the museum store for $5.

Pretty small but worth supporting! Some great pieces and a beautiful view.

We went for music and story time with Mark & Ale DeMaio this week and had a blast! The parking lot filled up so we parked in the science center parking lot which is free for 30 mins and just walked over. The kids had the best time making music and animal noises, playing on the drums and singing silly songs. Mark was so great at engaging with the little ones and making everyone feel included. So fun and wholesome. The museum is nice & clean and the front desk staff was friendly & welcoming. Definitely recommend checking it out, I believe it happens once a month? and is super affordable ($5 per family). Such a great way to connect with other families with little ones, plus everyone benefits from jumping around and being silly 🤪

Although small, it was a nice little museum to look around and learn some history. The displays were interesting and informative. Don't expect to be here all day. Maybe 2 hours tops. There is a nice small sculpture garden outside as well. You pay a small fee to go in the museum but well worth it.

Google
It's a bit small, but absolutely worth the $5 they charge to get in. They even have a free day every so often. The collection is fantastic and you can spend as long or little enjoying it as you want, within museum hours. They also have expansion plans, with a model and description of their plans inside the museum. Very exciting stuff! It's a hidden gem in Orlando and definitely worth exploring if you haven't been before or if it's been a while.

I attended a yoga session in the sculpture garden, which was beautifully landscaped and scenic. Afterward, I explored the museum, which had its own unique charm and majesty. The museum was currently featuring the works of a Pakistani-American artist, which were thoughtfully presented and displayed. Although the museum isn't particularly large, its cozy size adds to its warm and inviting ambiance. Overall, I had a delightful visit and highly recommend taking the time to explore both the grounds and the museum.

Beautiful park to walk, relax, and take pictures(Wedding, Sweet Fifteen, and other pics). We choose a day that was cloudy to visit and the atmosphere was at most the best. Parked on the side and took all this pictures of sculptures and them some of us(my husband and I) lol. We had a blast listening to the birds shirping and viewing the turtles peekaboo over the water. Love the experience.

Google
We went on a day when admission was free and they had a children's activity outside. The museum provided all the supplies for the kids to create their own masterpieces! My kids had a great time and got to take their creations home!

Yelp
Free parking adjacent to the museum and directly across the street from the Orlando Art museum and the science center is the Mennello Museum of American Art. This morning they had yoga from 10:30-12:30 in the sculpture garden. And they had free family fun day. Look up their calendar of events, seems packed full! The museum displays paintings/sculptures + contains at its core a permanent collection of paintings by Earl Cunningham (1893-1977). The Cunningham collection was donated by Marilyn + Michael Mennello of Winter Park, Florida. Other exhibitions show works of traditional/contemporary American artists. To know a bit more about Earl Cunningham (1893-1977). He was a twentieth-century American folk artist. He was a self-taught artist who painted mostly landscapes of the East coast. He used vivid colors, flat perspective, and a few recurrent themes. He does not seem to care if his perspective was off or that he has flamingos in a Northern climate (I think I saw them in a painting that was either in MA or MI). Cunningham was born in ME and moved to FL. His art has received many awards and is displayed throughout many fine galleries. They also have a documentary that plays in the gallery. Take time to see the other temporary works and the sculpture garden.

Yelp
This is a beautiful museum in Winter Park, located right on the edge of Lake Formosa. This is the perfect place to take a nice stroll on a beautiful spring or fall day. I loved seeing the various sculptures and modern art exhibits all along the outside of the museum. All of these art pieces really show you just how creative people can be. Walking further along the path also gives you some fantastic views of the lake. Truly a very peaceful and wonderful experience that I encourage all people to take advantage of :)

Yelp
This museum is located near the Orlando Science Center and in the area with all the other museums. Out of the other ones I have been to this one is very small and quaint. I went on a day where they have free admission. If you check the calendar they usually have a free day once a month. The paintings were very nice along with the sculptures. Like I said it's not a big museum but what they have is very nice and I believe they have different themes throughout the year. I would like to visit for black history month and see what they have. The outdoor area sits on a lake in the back where they host yoga classes. I went on a rainy day so I didn't get to enjoy the outer area but I did take a look and it's a huge space to hold events. They have beautiful huge trees that look out over the water. Overall it was a great experience for my family and I. We took great pics and got to enjoy some great art on a rainy day for free! It was a great deal. I will definitely be back for more events.

Yelp
Small but wonderful art museum with an incredible employee whose name I did not catch but she doubled as a tour guide. The museum had an interactive installation with iPads pointed at artwork to make the portrait come alive with historical recreations. Parking is free and admission is $5. Outside location is beautiful for an afternoon stroll after a trip to the museum.

Yelp
The Mennello Museum of American Art is located in Loch Haven Cultural Park. They charge five dollars for adults and children 6 to 17 cost one dollar. Children under six years old, Active Military and Veterans are free. There is a Sculpture Garden on the property that is always open to the public. Every Sunday outdoor Yoga is offered in the Sculpture Garden. It costs $10 and includes admission to the museum. The Museum exhibits a permanent collection of Earl Cunningham paintings. They also exhibit several other traditional and contemporary American Artists. With advanced notice you can request a guided tour.

Yelp
The staff here were so sweet, seemed to really enjoy their job, and happily answered questions from museum visitors. Inside the museum, The main/permanent gallery has colorful American folk art and a small, eclectic collection of Impressionist works, while the temporary exhibit had photography displays. The gallery space is small and took me about 30 minutes to see everything, but the sculpture garden and paths along Lake Formosa were also lovely to stroll through for another 30 minutes. Tickets for students (with ID) are also discounted at only $1!

Yelp
The Mennello Museum of American Art was created in 1997 by Michael A. and Marilyn Logsdon Mennello to exhibit a permanent collection of Earl Cunningham Paintings. The Mennello is owned by the City of Orlando. The museum is located in Loch Haven Park in the former home of Howard Phillips, son of noted philanthropist Dr. Philip Phillips. Adult admission to the museum is normally five dollars but I was able to visit it free under Bank of America's Museums on Us program. On the first weekend of every month, certain museums are free with a Bank of America card and ID. A full list of participating museums can be found on the Bank of America website. Before I could enter the museum I had to go through a Covid procedure lecture. I was told masks had to be worn at all times, if you picked up any literature you could not put it back down, and no more than 6 people were allowed in a gallery at any time. If you break the rules you will be asked to leave. My walk inside the museum did not take very long as it is very small inside, only 1,200 square feet. During my visit there was an exhibit called Construct: Our Orlando & American Youth: Cause. The exhibit features artist Don Rimx who " examines the shaping of Afro-Caribbean American identity through the lens of anatomy, place, and portraiture." and the Collective Lemon Press who "explore visual mapping of both time and language through storytelling and communication". When you finish your indoor tour of the museum you can walk outside to the Mennello Sculpture Garden on beautiful Lake Formosa. I saw a number of people sitting outside enjoying the beautiful weather next to towering and some not so large sculptures. The museum is tiny but plans are under way to enlarge it four times bigger than it is currently. The city plans to use the museum to display more of its art collection. Under the new design there will be space for local artists, a cafe, and a gift shop. Decks, patios, and balconies overlooking Lake Formosa are part of the new design. The city is donating the land for the new museum and the Friends of the Mennello nonprofit are raising the twenty million needed for the building. It will be exciting to see the future of the Mennello.

Yelp
The museum itself is really petite with a mainstay collection from a self-taught local artist and a rotating display featuring a new artist every few months. It's okay for an art gallery, but what really makes it for me is their outdoor sculpture garden and trails nearby. You can go along the Orlando Urban Trail up to Mead Garden that is about 1.5 miles from here or to Lake Highland about the same distance away. It's near to the Orlando Science Center and Orlando Art Museum so you could hit these up as well! Also, Better Than Sex Dessert Cafe is around the corner as well.

Yelp
I love that there is an indoor and outdoor art experience here. Make sure to check out the put door art sculptures and take a walk around the lake. Art exhibits change quarterly and there is so much history about this Orlando building! Must see!
google avatar

Cynthia R.

Yelp
If you are walking around Orlando there is one day a month that you can enter for free. It is a different museum. A friend recommended it to me. It is in front of the science museum. Parking is easy. You can also walk around and the children have fun with the tree outside. You can also do activities for children and take lots of instant photos, place them in the album and bring them back. You also know the trajectory of the photography camera. And see such perfect and interesting paintings.

Yelp
A magical experience. I saw the exhibits on Eddy Mumma & Visionary Forms in Southern Black folk art. I was thrilled to see that most of the works are by minorities in early modern art: artists that identified as female, "outsider" artists, and early modern Black artists. The museum has invested in exhibiting works in their best light, with intelligent writing by a knowledgeable art historian. The actual lighting of the works was amazing, showing the brilliance of the colors. The site is gorgeous. Anyone hurrying through without reading the text may not appreciate the work or think the museum is small. I am glad to learn that they about to expand.

Yelp
Old lady working the front desk at 10:57 AM on Thursday, October 6, 2022 was extremely rude and single-handedly lost this museum two patrons. My fiancé and I walked around the little park just outside of the Mennello, and looking at the artwork outside of it, we decided it might be nice to visit, especially since she had to use the restroom as well. I was carrying an empty McDonald's cup with leftover ice in it, which I intended to throw out as soon as we walked in, as we finished it while walking and there are no garbage cans on the pathway between the covered seating area where we had been and the entrance to the Mennello. As soon as we walked inside, she went to the bathroom and I intended to wait for her to come out before we approached the desk, but I had barely taken two steps inside before the front desk lady very rudely pointed her finger at me and curtly said "You can't have that drink in here!" The level of rudeness and contempt in the way she said it was remarkable. Note that there is no signage stating anything about food or drink, so her tone insinuating that I should have know better or something was totally uncalled for. All she had to do was politely say "Oh sorry but there's no food or drinks allowed in the museum" and I would have politely told her it was empty and that I just need a garbage can for it. But instead she was incredibly rude for no reason, right at the jump, and for that I walked out and we didn't patronize the museum. On top of all that, as soon as she yelled at me about my cup, the security guard who had been hanging out at the front desk then walked over and ushered me outside, I guess as if I was gonna fight or cause a scene and not just leave??? But guess what! She had a booth in between the two sets of doors and had she been at her post to begin with, she could have said something to me before I was even all the way inside to get yelled at in the first place. So maybe when you're hired to be in a specific place, do your job instead of hanging out fraternizing with the front desk lady. We left and went to the OMA, and just for kicks and giggles, I carried the same cup inside to see what would happen and guess what... their front desk person POLITELY informed me there is no drinks allowed inside the museum and that I'd have to either throw it out or bring it back to my car, and then even apologized for the inconvenience. If this lady at the Mennello is gonna remain the first person you see when entering the museum, then she needs to be retained on customer service or just common sense politeness. And then they wonder why the younger generations seem to avoid museums nowadays

Yelp
We ventured out to not go into the museum but instead to walk the sculpture garden. How have I not done this before? The sculpture museum is always open and free to the public. Yes, you can even take your dogs for a nice walk through here. You can also pick up the urban trail from this area and extend your walk over the bridge and into the neighborhood. For a beautiful day, this is an excellent outside activity for the whole family. I can even see it being great for a picnic date. There are plenty of places to stop and take in the scenery as well as the art. I would love to see Orlando grow the sculpture garden to be more of the size in some of the other cities. There's great potential here for more art and more interactive art even.

Yelp
Total culture shock for me. From the outside, the museum looks like a vestige from a former annex to a more important building. The very informal setting creates an ambiance of kitsch typical of the South, but boy! What a surprise once you go inside! Yes, this is a very small museum, but it is packed with eye candy. I was able to catch an exhibit of William Eggleston's photography, which is absolutely beautiful and historic of the South. Worth your time, specially if you are a fan of David Lynch. It'll tie things together for you. The resident exhibit is Earl Cunningham. Now, when I entered the room dedicated to this artist, I felt transported to a Bahamian house. The colors he uses are bright and typical of most Bahamian art, and by association, Caribbean art. I really loved this room, but the intensity of the colors could burn you out. Awesome stuff nonetheless. And then, after you are done with the small indoor part, you must roam the outside premises. There is a large green area that ends in Lake Formosa, and this area is sprinkled with very nice sculptures. The lakeside area truly rivals the museum inside. This is a very well curated collection/museum. You have to visit and keep posted on exhibitions. I absolutely recommend spending some time here.

Yelp
This museum is so small, if you drop a tissue it's instant wall-to-wall carpeting. This museum is so small that you don't have room to change your mind. This museum is so small that, by the time you enter, you're already outside. I don't know if there's a minimum square footage to qualify as a museum but the Mennello does make me wonder. Fortunately, the Bo Bartlett paintings on exhibition are worth the visit. His works remind me of Edward Hopper. They have a detached unnerving quality about them. Because this place is so small, there are four more of his paintings on display at the Orlando Museum of Art. The very gaudy bronze statue of Marilyn Mennello is an eye-opener and it prompted me to exit this claustrophobic space and venture outside to see the Alice Aycock pieces. These two white reinforced sculptures have been on tour in a number of cities and they look right at home here.

Yelp
On a pleasant Orlando February Friday,I spent 2 hours enjoying fine paintings by early 20th Century American Painters such as;Louis Ritman("Garden in Giverny",fine Impressionism),Lilla Cabot Perry("Japanese Children")Marguerite Pearson("Lady in Kimono With Lighted Lanterns"),Edward Cucuel("Summer")and Milton Boncroft("Nude in Interior"),among others. At this miniscule art museum,I saw fine Modern American Folk Art Paintings by Earl Cunningham.I especially enjoyed Cunningham's"Summer Day at Deer Park","Gabriel Overlooking Boothbay Harbor",and"Sunrise At Pine Point,Maine".Cunningham's paintings employed oil paint on fiberglass. Outside of this art museum, there were fine sculptural creations of dogs.I felt that the staff of this art museum took pride in their work.

Yelp
It's a small museum but I've seen some good exhibits here such as Boy Kong. I really like the free outside sculpture garden here. It's great for a walk, picnic or photo shoot. It's dog friendly too.

Yelp
Brought my son to this place, I must say it kept him busy for an entire day. This place caters to the needs of children and adults. My son got to touch an alligator and that was the highlight of the trip for him. Pirate week was awesome except my son keeps thinking he is a pirate now. Pros- parking 5 dollars, a lot of activities, friendly staff, subway in food court Cons- bathrooms were dirty

Yelp
A little hidden gem right next to the Orlando Science Center. Limited parking unless I missed something. Came here for a documentary showing and enjoyed myself.

Yelp
I love the Mennello Museum. I captured a wedding there in October of 2018 and it couldn't have been more perfect. The lawn next to the museum is well kept, has beautiful trees and sculptures and has a great view of the lake. The sunset during the sunset that offered the perfect light. The team at the museum is wonderful and even followed up days later. I highly recommend having a ceremony here!

Yelp
Spent the afternoon roaming this wonderful gem. Have been here a few times but only on the grounds during the folk festival. Today we visited inside past the black velvet curtains. Staff was very friendly and there is plenty of parking. The lighting was perfection and the exhibit was mesmerizing. Edward Steichen was the artist, someone I had not heard before this visit but thoroughly enjoyed his work - highly recommend

Yelp
I am in love. (congratulate me darn it!). I'm not shy about my dislike for the curation at the Orlando Museum of art. Having great pieces does not a museum make. The talent to put together well curated spaces, exhibits and travelling shows really is difficult. The Mennello space is tiny, but so well worth it. The permanent folk artist room feels home-y and casual. The several travelling exhibits I've seen there each is given the ability to shine. At $5, this is my favorite way to spend a morning. They often have festivals out on the lawn among the modern art sculptures as well. Swoon

Yelp
The thoughtful space allows for the viewer to truly immerse in the unique experience of each room. I've heard/seen some negative feedback on small museums... BUT, there is great value in a space that is intimate enough for the viewer to truly connect with each artwork. Location is great -- MMAA is in a charming spot, located right along the edge of Lake Formosa, in the beautiful eclectic arts area also home to neighbors Orlando Museum of Art, Shakespeare Theatre, Repertory Theatre, and the main hub for Orlando Fringe! The Museum staff are true professionals. When hearing them talk about the artists and their mission at MMAA, REAL passion truly shines through and elevates the entire museum experience. This is an intimate museum experience well worth a visit!

Yelp
This was my first time to this Museum. I was there to be part of an advertised sculpture tour and lecture by the artist and a meet and greet with the artist. I felt that the grounds and interior of the museum were both very well maintained. It is a smaller Museum but grouped so closely to so many educational and inspirational resources making it easy to have a fun filled day on foot in that area. I came to this museum with my 3 year old kid and however she was on her best behavior the security guard kept swarming around us within feet of us watching every movement my kid made which was not much but pointing. Yes, the lecture was happening and everyone was quietly listening, but guess what, so were we so not too sure why the security was so aggressive to us. At one point it caused us to step outside, and not because of anything my kid did, but how the security made us feel. My kid was the only one there, but it was in the middle of the day at 2 pm, and is a museum, and no where to be seen a sign that said kids are not allowed. This was a bit of a turn off to me. Over all I had a great time, was a nice place to visit and thought was well organized and flowed well. I would like to visit again.

Yelp
Once again The Mennello Museum of American Art puts on another fabulous event...and it was FREE! Just attended the unveiling of Barbara Sorensen's "SIREN" with drinks and dessert by Better Than Sex. If you ever get the chance, stop by and visit the museum or become a member! They have Pet Memberships, too!!! Then take advantage of their great events throughout the year like unveiling's, pet friendly socials, family fun days, etc. You'll fall in Love with The Mennello!

Yelp
This small little museum in Loch Haven Park, was cute, chilly (lots of A/C) and very easy to navigate around. It was only $4 plus tax for admission, and I would argue that if they charged more, no one would come--mostly because they only have 2 main exhibit rooms and a tiny gift shop area. The current exhibits were neat though--The Earl Cunningham Collection and sculptures by Donald De Lue. In the Cunningham room, they had a video playing describing his life and the motivations for his work. That helped along with the binder of info that the clerk gave me when I walked in. I also noticed that in both exhibit rooms, there were small kid-friendly tables with crayons, markers, paper, etc. for them to keep busy--a helpful addition for parents. If I had to constructively criticize this museum, I would tell the curator that the explanation/note cards next to the pieces need to be proof-read. I happened to catch a few grammatical errors which I thought took away from the nature of a museum and the seriousness of the exhibits.
google avatar

Yelp
This is one of my favorite places to visit. The art story of the museum is fascinating and they are really in tune with the community. Their events are a ton of fun. They support the arts and do it in a comfortable way where everyone is welcome. Their events are always highlighted on my calendar. I cannot say enough about the wonderful staff.

Yelp
I enjoyed this small gem in Orlando. The lovely woman at the front brought the museum to life and made my experience more enriched by talking about the artists featured, the history of the museum, and a recommendation of starting in a certain area. Even better, there is art/sculptures outside which overlook the beautiful water! Easily accessible by foot, bike, car, rail.

Yelp
The Mennello Museum of American Folk Art, at Princeton and 17-92, is a small but beautiful museum located in a stunning lakeside setting. Permanent works include a large collection of Earl Cunningham, an American artist whose specialty was vivid colors and realism. Touring displays on my visit included works by William H. Johnson of South Carolina, whose folk art inspiration came from the American South, Harlem and Scandinavia. My favorite piece was "Aunt Alice," who was really his mother. Another exhibit was Style and Grace, a small collection of large paintings, mostly of women in Victorian-looking dresses. A big plus to a visit to the Mennello is the chance to hug one of the most magnificent Southern Oaks (circa 1688) you'll ever see, with its boughs kissing the ground. It's breathtaking.

Yelp
This is my favorite museum in Orlando, and one where I take my out-of-town guests who have any interest in art. It's small--you can stroll through in about twenty minutes--but it's really well-done. The museum focuses on the art of Florida/Maine artist Earl Cunningham. The colors he used are fantastic, and displayed here through lighting that makes each piece of work look like it's glowing from within. Some people think of folk art as cheesy geese and ABC embroideries...that's crafts my friends. This is real deal art, and gorgeous stuff. Staff are friendly and there's a tiny little gift shop area with some good arty books. Temporary exhibits tend to be a bit lackluster, but I could go and see Cunningham's works once a month and never tire of it.

Yelp
I have visited the Mennello Museum several times over the years and it is very nice, but small. The museum does not take very long to see... of course you could take as long as you want and read every placard and really stretch it out. But for my family, it's about 15 minutes (at the front desk they have a scavenger hunt the kids can do, but even that is pretty easy.) I am pretty sure I have never paid admission. They have free family days once a month on a Sunday, and that is probably the best time to go. Even on free day the museum was not at all crowded. There is a small lot by the museum where you can park for free. If that is full (which would only happen if there was a festival going on) you may have to park across the street at the theater or pay to park in the Science Center garage. We usually spend most of our time outside. There are several sculptures to see outside and it's just a generally nice spot. This is a great place for a picnic or just a nice walk. Our favorite thing here is the giant oak tree in the front by the parking lot. If you are bringing kids make sure they have good shoes for climbing, because this one is great fun to climb. Since the limbs reach all the way to the ground kids can easily climb them to the center of the tree trunk. It is pretty cool. Also a bit scary, but my kids have been climbing it for years, and so far no broken bones. Under the tree is also a great picnic spot, if there aren't too many people around.

Yelp
A great way to get out of the heat! The Mennello museum is a great little spot where you and the kids can enjoy some fine art. However, it really is kind of an art corner, and I definitely wouldn't clear your schedule to go visit. This is one of those places you go to if you are already in the area. Cause if you go out of your way for this one you might be disappointed... The Good: Interesting Exhibits: The exhibits are small, but we saw a nice assortment of paintings and sculptures, and there was even a media presentation about one of the artists. Good Stuff! A nice diversion: If you have had enough retail therapy for one day, or need to work off a really big meal, you could do a lot worse than this place. The Bad: Done in one hour: This place is pretty small, and won't hold your attention for longer than an hour. So like I said before, only go there is you're in the neighborhood already Mennello Museum is pretty cool, and is a great way to get your daily culture in if you are just passing by. Good stuff! Overall 5.9/10= Just a little culture

Yelp
The Mennello Museum of American Art is a little gem of a museum in a beautiful setting on Lake Formosa in Loch Haven Park. The permanent exhibit is a display of vibrant folk art paintings by Earl Cunningham. I enjoyed learning about the artist and also about how Marilyn Mennello acquired almost all of his works which inspired the establishment of the museum. I was very fortunate that the current exhibition featured photogravures of The North American Indian by Edward S. Curtis. I found the collection and Curtis' story fascinating. There was an interesting and informative one hour video about Curtis and his project to capture images and catalog vanishing Native American races. The Mennello Museum is near the Orlando Museum of Art and Orlando Science Center. The grounds feature sculptures and fabulous, old oak trees which provide a lovely location for a picnic or walk. Parking is free, admission is very inexpensive and some days it is free for Family Fun Days or for Bank of America cardholders. I would recommend a trip to this museum anytime but if you can attend while the Curtis traveling exhibition is available through September 14, 2014 your visit will be particularly worthwhile.

Yelp
This smaller art museum located near the Orlando Museum. This a great place to visit on a Saturday afternoon. If you are a Bank of America and it is the first weekend of the month, then you get on free. Inside they have one permanent and a few changing exhibitions. The permanent display is a series of folk art paintings by Earl Cunningham. Colorful, bright and detailed, these depict different scenery and people going about their day in each scene. Very well done. Outside there is an accompanying sculpture garden with a number of modern works along a path or located near the lake. This museum is certainly worth your time and patronage.

Yelp
Very small museum but the staff was extremely friendly and the Earl Cunningham exhibit was quite lovely. The surrounding ground do have some appealing sculptures and you can take a very enjoyable stroll with nice views of the lake and art. The museum itself is too small to be worth paying admission for in my opinion, so wait until they do a free admission day if you intend to go.

Yelp
This is a great museum, it is beautifully staged. The admission for adult is $5 for students and seniors it is a $1. It is a small museum, only on floor, outside there is a sculpture garden and a beautiful park area. At this art museum there is a permanent collection and a traveling collection. The staff is friendly and knowledgable about the art displayed there. When I went there was an indie festival going on outside. So I got to enjoy the festival and walk the sculpture gardens.

Yelp
It just so happened that when my boyfriend and I came here on December 26th it was free admission. We really enjoyed the works of Earl Cunningham. The museum is on the smaller side but the art pieces are lovely and will keep you captivated for a long time.

Yelp
The large tree canopy in front of the Mennello Museum was our wedding ceremony location. "The Mayor" was absolutely gorgeous and provided the perfect location for us to exchange our truths. The staff was a little hard to get a hold of and did not greet us while we were there, however all exchanges prior were friendly and polite. I absolutely understand this, as they are running a museum first, a wedding venue second. Overall we had a pleasant experience and would recommend this location.
