MERAKI Greek Taverna

Had such a great time at Meraki with friends. We ordered the trio of dips, calamari and the mixed grill, alongside cocktails, and everything was absolutely delicious. The food was incredible, generously portioned and very reasonably priced. The ambience was lovely — perfect for a relaxed catch-up — and the cocktails were spot on. Honestly have nothing to fault, will definitely be back.

Amazing, authentic Greek restaurant in Darwin… who knew??? Apparently, large Greek population here in Darwin for many years and this is a serious Greek restaurant with fantastic Greek food that’s family run. Wines include a selection of AU and NZ and Greek wines. Owner helped us select two wonderful Greek reds…after letting us taste a couple. Two of us shared a Greek salad, grilled shrimp, lamb (amazing!) and lemon potatoes. We wanted the fish, but it was sold out by our 7pm reservation. Terrific service by the family unit and food was fresh and perfectly cooked. Our best meal here in Darwin in our 3 days.

Food was absolutely sensational. Highly recommend and actually think this has been the best food we have eaten in Darwin so far, possibly the best Greek food I’ve had too (and I have been to the Greek islands haha) staff were incredibly friendly and accomodating. Drunken pork was delicious, octopus amazing, pita bread yum, filla mouthwatering.. Will be back again for sure! ❤️🧿🤞🏻

This is a big risk...that pays off. I spend so much time in crete, I have figs growing out of my fingers. And the Greek meals I've had in Sydney have been mixed at best. Horta and Dakos (Ladoristo here) are a rare sight, so i jumped into the deep end and went for it. True, I prefer my Horta to be bitter greens, but young silverbeet is technically OK, and they're prepared well. The dakos has a real Cretan rusk at the centre and everything plays its part, making it a Big Fat Greek Wedding (sorry, couldn't resist) of flavour and texture. The service is super friendly, and only the rock hard chairs and plastic tree taint the view. But this is a really good choice in Darwin.

A great place for groups and shared meals. All the food we had was lovely, one meal came out after we had finished everything else and that was our meat, we did ask for everything to come out together but mistakes happen and we had a lovely night regardless. Would have been nice to be checked on more often for drinks, we had to flag waiters to get served again not the end of the world but would have made the experience more enjoyable. Good atmosphere and location. They split the bill and accept cash and card, so I was very happy with that. Will be back.

Fabulous Greek restaurant in Darwin. The best lamb cutlets I have had in a long time. Service was outstanding. The owners were so friendly and took the time to talk even though they were very busy. Busy on a Tuesday. Must be good.

Food was nice, but the prices online do not match the in-house menu. Seafood platter not available. We paid $5 for a can of coke! The waiter didn’t make eye contact - like they didn’t want to take our order. the place was very noisy (needs some type of flooring to absorb sounds) and lighting was poor.

Really enjoyed dining here, the food is excellent, love the mixed grill and the Saganaki cheese is amazing,cocktails are delicious, service is friendly, definitely recommend a visit
