Perfect experience. Our party was two couples and went around 6pm on a Sunday before the performance at the theater. The store was empty, but you could tell that they were very busy earlier. We ordered and everyone was very helpful. I did not take pictures of the food because it was so good that we ate it very fast.portions were big enough and Prices were very reasonable. We also order a bottle of Cretan wine and it was amazing. I only have pictures of the dessert because by then we were full. We tried all different dishes and we followed the recommendations of the staff. The dessert was complimentary as well as the raki . Love this place for traditional Cretan cuisine with an upscale touch. We will be back .

If you’re visiting Heraklion, you have to eat here. Walking distance from the center. The staff is fantastic. The dolma as a starter is a must-try. I had the lamb, and it was incredibly tender and juicy. The complimentary grape-flavored raki at the end was a nice touch. For those who prefer less sweet cocktails, I highly recommend the Natura di Creta cocktail.

Hands down the best goat I’ve ever tasted. I have no idea what they did to achieve this effect, I can only assume it is a complicated process but this unassuming piece of meat packed so much flavor and texture it simply blew my mind. Such a wonderful restaurant with friendly staff, fantastic service on top of world class food (generous portions!) and beautiful Cretan hospitality! Just a shame that we don’t know when we will get to eat here again!

GREEK FOOD FOR THE SOUL If I would have had a Greek grandma, she probably would have cooked just like this. It doesn’t only taste good: It feels good in the soul. You can feel the love the chef puts in his cooking. The staff is super kind and attentive. Definitely in my TOP 10 restaurants.

Absolutely fantastic restaurant, nothing could have prepared us for how good the food was. The local cheese dish was cooked to perfection and the grilled vegetables were delicious, charred perfectly, with a moreish flavour. I loved the oyster mushrooms.The bread side dish was also excellent and included a cheese dip and fresh tomatoes. For mains we had lamb with potatoes and pork loin. The lamb was falling off the bone and the potatoes were succulent full of flavour. We were stuffed, but accepted the free panna cotta and the complimentary raki with pomegranate. The service was also warm and welcoming.Hands down one of the best meals I've had, would highly recommend.

Very good dîner venue. Service was friendly, they brought bread and olives as soon as we took a seat and we also had a complimentary desert (which was exquisite). The food was very flavorful. Definitely would recommend if you're in heraklion.

The Cretan cuisine was absolutely delicious! Every morsel was bursting with flavor. You must visit here to dine inside or outside on the veranda. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Our visit was connected to a work event, so we have no idea how much it costs, but the dishes were absolutely delicious. I assume we got the authentic experience, since it's organized by people growing up on the island. I'd highly recommend the place.
