This is a good sized indoor food court where you can find something different for the entire family. We came in for coffee early in the morning when the only thing open was a breakfast place and the coffee bistro. They have ample seating. A great place to get out of the elements when walking and exploring the iconic Barrio Antiguo.

A Culinary Gem in the Heart of Monterrey I had the pleasure of visiting Mercado Barrio Antiguo with my daughter and nice, and it was an unforgettable experience. This place perfectly combines an culinary variety with a good atmosphere that captures the essence of Monterrey. Regarding the Food The variety of food options is good, ranging from traditional Mexican dishes to Chinese. I tried the chilaquiles, my daughter tried the machacado and my nice good gringa. Atmosphere Located in the heart of the Barrio Antiguo, the market offers the perfect vibe for a relaxing afternoon or a lively evening. It’s also a great spot to feel like part of the local community, as both visitors and residents enjoy the space together. Other Details The service is exceptional. The staff is friendly and always ready to recommend options or ensure you have a great experience. I also appreciated how clean and well-organized the market is, which adds to the overall enjoyment. In summary, Mercado Barrio Antiguo is a must-visit spot if you’re in Monterrey. It’s the perfect place to enjoy great food, a lively atmosphere, and the culture of this beautiful city. Crowded streets filled with vendors selling many different items. From food to old CDs, decorations and accessories. Try their pineapple tart if you happen to see it along the streets. It’s good!

Very good place to enjoy some food and drinks. Lots of options, Mexican and others. It is also nice and cool to get a break from the sun.

Not a good place for tourist The place is nasty. The security guard and the manager know nothing about service. They won't let you use the restroom unless you make a purchase first and show them the ticket. Even after my wife made a purchase, they still refused to let me use the restroom until I showed them the ticket. Additionally, they charge for toilet paper, so it's better to bring your own. While I understand they may not want their restrooms to be public, it should be common sense to provide access to customers. In conclusion, my experience at the place was negative. The food is not even halfway decent, and the staff is poorly trained in customer service.
