You get what you pay for. This is a fish market so the walk to the bathroom.was putrid. The food presentation was definitely on point, looking really appealing. It felt a bit like they rushed the food though and compromised on taste, probably because we had a large group. Some people didnt get food until long after others did.The servers themselves were super nice and helpful. Drinks were alright, nothing too special but they did the job. Overall, a decent experience with some room for improvement on pacing.

The food was awesome. The right vendor will walk you to the market to pick out your own fresh still alive seafood and cook right there for you. With the garlic butter sauce. They only take cash so bring your money with you. You also get a free margarita or frozen drink of your choice.

Great fish market, early morning hours are bustling with locals getting fresh fish before the tourists trickling in. If you take the fish to the right vendor, they will cook it there for you. I purchased a lobster at the market and brought it to one of the restaurant and got it cooked with the garlic butter sauce. Definitely skip restaurant next to the fish market called Allison, they are rip off. Cash only so bring your money with you. 4/5 ⭐️

The touts will bend over backwards to get you to their table. The food was tasty and fresh, although smaller than what you see on their pictures, the service was fine until it came time to pay. Be very careful. We ordered fried fish covered with a few pieces of shrimp, which was listed as one dish on the menu and in the photo. The waiter then wanted to charge us double for two dishes – fish separately, shrimp separately, sangria (skimpy, only with apple and 1 slice of lime), 1 beer, for a total of $79! At a market in Panama! We argued, he was rude and knocked the price down to $52, but he still ripped us off. Be prepared, this "team" wore dark blue shirts.

I don't like eating with bugs too many biting insects there. I went to a restaurant I will post the picture. This is a place that screws tourists with prices. Lobster was chewy as hell

This was one of my bucket list fish markets to visit. This market is exceptional with many cevisherias in the same building. If in Panama City, don't miss it.

Not at all the "Must do" thing suggested in blogs. It pales in comparison to fish markets elsewhere in the world. It's relatively small, not very busy and a bit underwhelming and boring. The good thing is foreigners probably don't buy anything, they just go to look, so no one hassles you. You can get food whilst there in the outside, covered restaurants downstairs. Chose wisely. I went to Allison restaurant and it was expensive and not great.
