A great place to have seafood cooked to your liking. It’s filled with locals, so that gave us the confidence that the food would be great. And it didn’t disappoint. We bought our fresh giant Spanish Red Prawns from one of the stalls and got them to do a an Andalusian Paella. Had another plate of fried calamari which was just so fresh. The place was loud, hands gesticulating in deep conversation, punctuations of shouts from the stalls as they try to market their procedure, waiters zooming around delivering orders… it felt like a show and we were part of it. A lunch to remember.

Just a quick visit for pinchos and tapas. We'll be back for more later. Staff were very friendly and helpful, menu is very good, wine was delightful and prices were very reasonable.

You absolutely have to eat at this market, preferably at ‘Pescadería Serie Oro.’ You buy your seafood there, and they cook it for you. It’s not a cheap place to eat, but it’s a little luxury you can indulge in if you’re a seafood lover, we paid €25 each. I highly recommend it, 10/10.

We discovered the most incredible Italian food inside the market—Mercato Italiano. A true hidden gem for authentic flavors!

Finally we figured out how to eat seafood on the market. Here they are really helpful and eager to explain to you how it works. The prices are also reasonable (not cheap, but not as out of reach as f.i. on similar markets in France). We ordered a dish of mixed grilled seafood, which was 0.5.kg and 50 EUR. And oh my goodness, it was the best seafood we ever had! We never knew shrimps and mussels could have such a creamy texture! Now have to get used to the usual rubbery texture again. The mood is amazing too! So much fun observing the traders and the vivid life of the market. Don't miss this experience

If you are into fish, this is your GO TO place. There is all kinds of fresh fish and seafood. Olive oil’s as well. We were there before the mid day rush so it wasn’t too crowded.

It is a great place to eat, and to visit. He has options for everyone, I highly recommend the seafood, you pick the food and they will cook it for you anyway you want at pescadería serie oro Located in the centre of the market.

Yelp
A food market with a broad selection of restaurants. We stopped at one and each had an Aperol Spritz. It was crowded at 1400 with people eating lunch. Happy people.

Yelp
If you know me at all, you know I love me some markets while visiting any country! When I found out Granada had a small scale Mercado near the city center, I immediately mapped it out in anticipation of a visit. After some narrow alleyway navigation, finally came upon this newer somewhat small building (In comparison to other markets in major Spanish cities). The inside is very simple to navigate, as it is one large rectangle with cut through isles throughout the market. You can expect to find your standard Spanish goods here, whether fresh meats, veggies, fish, nuts, etc., to tapas and wine! I always go into these mercados with the idea of either having a drink or lunch as most of the goods are fresher than what you may find in a restaurant. Speaking of which, I immediately gravitated towards a large Jamon "deli" which was also serving local wines and beers. Cheap, tasty, and ample servings of Jamon with crackers while sitting nearby for some good people watching. Expect to not find many tourists here, so you really get that good ole locals experience. One last note, expect to not spend much here being as it is not focused on being a tourist hub, more so of a locals spot to pick up goods and enjoy tapas!
