We went here for dinner. The food from the Bao place was DRIPPING in oil, and the waiter that served our drinks did not know how to open a bottle of wine, we thought it would go flying. Considering the ambience and prices, I expect better quality.

Lovely lunch spot. Food was good value and delicious- drinks are relatively quite expensive. There is also a nice place to sit outside in the sunshine. Recommend this place over the well known marketplace 👌🏻

We found this place and it became one of our favourites on our trip to Seville. Overall the food and drinks were a good cost for great quality. One thing we did find confusing was if you could sit inside in the 'fancy' middle seating if you went and got your own food, or if it was waiter service only. People didn't tend to know you had to be seated in this area, and it would be helpful if there was some signage. Outside had some lovely seating areas as well with music that makes it a great environment to relax. Overall a 10/10 even with the seating confusion. Some of the things we had were: Bravos Potato's, Tomato Salad, Empanadas, Salami Pizza Spice, Cheese Selection, Coconut and Mango Dessert Slice, Pistachio Cheesecake.

What an amazing spot in Seville! The best part is that you can grab food from different stalls, each with its own flavor, and then sit down to share and enjoy a glass of wine or a cold beer with friends. The vibe is relaxed yet lively, and the location is just perfect for a great time. Highly recommended!

Plenty of food options in this European version of a food hall. There were many different vendors selling a variety of dishes with the focus on tapas, wine and beer. There a tables inside and out for eating your meal. This is a good casual alternative to a full sit-down dining experience in Seville. Good for those tourists who have much to see and little time to relax. Prices are generally reasonable...

This food hall/market was a nice place to stop for lunch. Very popular and busy. So many options for food and drinks. We got the seafood risotto, some tapas and aperol spritzes. All from 3 different vendors. Fun experience..

A little bit of a confusing business model as they have both a counter service and full sit down service. They have four to five counter kitchens offering different foods as well as a pastry shop. This review is for the sit down service. Don't do it. The drinks are expensive, and the food is simply not good. It feels like a tourist trap preying on folks looking for options at the Triana bridge. On a good note, the inside is quite beautiful, and our service was good.

First time I've left an on the spot review, but this place blows. Nice looking place but nowhere as nice or as large as the Mercado Victoria in Cordoba. It's 20:15 (early by Sevilla dining standards), but the place has been open for a couple of hours and staff are walking around like zombies. Walk up to the wine bar, no one there. 3 employees 6 feet away shrug their shoulders. Ask the manager waltzing around when someone will be behind the oyster/seafood bar. He says give us half an hour. WTF? There are probably 40 customers in here right now and you aren't prepared? Finally a woman appears behind the oyster bar and snears in Spanish, "Come back in half an hour!" WTF? Go to the wine bar, you're the only customer there, look at the menu, and the girl there (who has zero knowledge of wine) barks at you, "Vino esta AQUI!" and points at the counter three feet from where you are standing. One glass of crappy wine. No food. Time to stop at many of the great, authentic, and FRIENDLY tapas bars on the way back to the hotel.

Cute market with a variety of different food vendors. There is a bar in the center and various restaurants throughout. There are a couple fish markets where you can choose your fish and they'll cook it for you while you wait, some gelato stands and some tapas bars serving different empanadas and bocadillos.

If you have been to Madrid and have been to Mercado San Miguel and liked it, then this is the place for you.. It's a food court geared for tourists with upscale restaurants and overpriced meals. I would call it a tourist trap where everything is in English and the prices are 50-100% more expensive than at the Mercado de Triana just across the river.

Mercado Lonja del Barranco is a fun place to visit as a tourist. I love the concept of having all the food stalls in one location. A food court like setting so you can order from a few places with different kind of food and have a feast. Pricing might not be be the best. You are paying for the convenient. I still could not get over that €22 grilled prawn I had here. Fun experience to see all these food options. I do highly recommend coming by for a visit if you are in Sevilla.

If you're looking for a more modern market while visiting Seville...then you're in luck!! Located near the river, it is very central near many main tourist attractions and quite easy to get to. Great little bars including a pure Aperol Spitz station! Definitely must stop by their empanada counter for some delicious treats in addition to grabbing some freshly grilled octopus Definitely would go back!!

It is no secret that I am obsessed with markets whether indoor or outdoor, so it was surprise that I found one while visiting the beautiful city of Seville. While it may not be centrally located, it is not too far away from the center of town, an easy 30 or so minutes of walking. I'd say if you have the time and the weather is nice, definitely go for it as there are many shops along the way worth visiting. Fast forward to the market, it is not large to many others I have visited, which is a downer, but that is not to take anything away from it. It is indoor, so cruddy weather days make it easy to visit, but they do offer outdoor seating for those beautiful days as well. There are a handful of shops/stalls inside, but nothing spectacular in my opinion and a tad overpriced. Again, the food looks great, but there are so many other options around the neighborhood that may match or be better than what you can get inside this market. I did stop to have a few snacks as I totally violated my number one rule before visiting which was to never eat before going to a market. So is it worth visiting? It really depends what you are looking for. It offers tasty foods and drinks, along with being extremely clean, and ample seating outside. So it is entirely up to you honestly.

This place was good. The service was bad and food was ok but it's good if you get sick of tapas like me! Had some steamed buns my fave was the pork. Had an awesome pomegranate salad which could have been my fave and the grilled veggies from the same place. Had the spinach and chicken onion rolls from the empanada place which were ok. Also had a bbq chicken flatua, an empanada with chicken and herbs and another with bacon cheese and plums. The empanadas were good but the flautas not so much. I had a couple of crostini loaded with different toppings which were ok. The asparagus one was my fave. Usually raclette is one of my faves but it was not done right it was small as well :(. I was also too full for dessert, wouldn't be the best place is Spain but good if your sick of tapas. Don't forget to check out my profile!

Delicious food wide variety of choices great service open all day air conditioning what more can you want??? Drinks too!!! Love it. Near home and easy to access. There is outside and indoor seating as well. The prices may vary depending on what you would like to eat but all in all affordable.

This place has a big variety of foods to offer ranging from paella to desserts (make room for dessert!) we often get the seafood paella, tortillas de camerones, and chicharrones to share and it is always more than enough. It is in a busy location, just a few blocks from the bus station and the bull ring on the opposite side. Street parking may be hard to find, but underground garages are accessible about a block away.

My wife and I had lunch at Mercado Lonja del Barranco after we arrived in Sevilla and checked into our hotel. There was some advertising that we saw about an gastronomy event/festival there so we were really looking forward to but unfortunately we were pretty disappointed. My wife had some bocadillos and tapas dishes and I ordered some Iberian ham and a pork osso buco (see attached image) and everything was very mediocre if not below average. If you add to the fact that everything was a bit overpriced then you can understand why I'd recommend that you pass on the market. It does seem to be a great place to be seen and to see people while having drinks but we weren't impressed at all with the food. I had two meals that I regretted during my two weeks in Spain and this was one of them. Perhaps it was due to the so-called gastronomy event and they were trying to do different things as I see there are a lot of people who seemed to like them and they are quite busy.

This market was very nice. Super clean and modern looking on the inside, with lots of different food vendors to choose from. If you are looking for a farmers market, this isn't really the place (cross the river for that). Instead, this market is more of your food stall kind of spot. Had some good tapas and a few beers, a bit more expensive than other places but very convenient. If the weather is nice, they have lots of outdoor seating where you can people watch and enjoy the day.

So the place has over 20 places to chow down. ..we tried almost all of them. Hard to review each one There is sweets, oysters, wine. Tapas. This place would have something for everyone. The prices are reasonable, and the service is what you would expect

We came here for lunch after touring the Maestranza Bullring nearby. We love the abundance of food and drink choices, and the clean, modern environment with tables both indoors and outdoors. We whiled away a relaxing afternoon here enjoying the warm sun and pleasant company.

When traveling, I really enjoy the ease and convenience of a market like this to grab a small bite without needing to wait for a bill. The prices were very good compared with similar markets in other cities, and every time I came here I always left happy.

An impeccably clean indoor market with an upscale vibe to it! This market is indoors, with an additional outdoor seating as well situated on the water - it looked lovely! There were many vendors with various authentic and non traditional Spanish foods. I tried some gelato and cheese- both delicious obviously!

The small plates food here is good. Not exceptional but good. The draw of this place is the many options and market style atmosphere that make this a great place to grab a quick bite. Worth stopping in for a lunch or afternoon snack. Go at standard meal times to ensure the freshest food. If you go in the afternoon you may get food that has been prepared for longer.

Came here at the recommendation of the taxi driver. This place had a wide range of options in food court/ fast casual environment. Every shop owner was kind and they were understanding of my broken Spanish. I enjoyed Octopus and this seafood tapas place very much. The place is open late but I enjoyed sitting outside during the lunch hour more so then coming late. I happened to stay at a hotel nearby this place, it was awesome to grab lunch and walk along the river up to the Torre de Oro and Jardines de Maria Luisa.

Came here one day during late august for lunch with my local friends because every single restaurant we wanted to go to was closed. Not an exaggeration. Every single one. Seville's citizens were in full-on holiday mode, and that combined with the fact that it was a Sunday meant we would take what we would get. Although the food wasn't the most amazing I've had in Spain, I really liked the cafeteria-style options and the bright and open space. Great ambiance. We ordered a variety of food (tortilla, Russian salad, olives), but my favorite was the salmojero sampler platter - different kinds with different toppings. Highly recommend that! The food is not amazing by any means. Everything is decent but not exceptional. However, the beautiful outdoor market ambiance coupled with a multitude of options makes this a hip and trendy place to visit.

this was my favorite mercado in Sevilla when I studied abroad here. I loved coming here between or after classes for a beer and snack. such good food with so many options and the seating outside was perfect. you have to stop here because its a modern version of the mercado across el Puente del Isabella II. must see

A must see in Seville!!! Very urban, trendy marketplace with different stations according to your cravings! The seafood section is prominently displayed which makes for an interesting experience. Great desserts, tapas, gelato, and a gorgeous outside bar right by the river.

A,a zing selection for a decent price! Was able to get a platter of cheese, empanadas, burrito, grilled chicken kebab, sushi, and beer all in one giant indoor market! It's air conditioned too and has decent seating both indoors and outdoors. The best food item had was the grilled kebab and bell peppers - all on one stick served with a juicy sauce. While you can't really rate the entire market and should rather rate the atmosphere in general since its a combination of many different (similarly decorated) shops each serving different foods, it's definitely something you need to check out if you visit Seville.

Last night, I dined at the Mozzarella bar inside of the Market. I had one of the best Pesto Pappardelle pastas of my life. The pesto in Spain can sometimes appear less like pesto and more like liquid basil. This was not one of those times. The pesto was a delicious blend of garlic and basil and olive oil-y goodness. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente. And to top it all off, the pasta was topped with flakes of fresh Parmesan cheese with a slight amount of grated black truffles. This was a much needed reprieve from the heavy meats, cheeses and breads of Sevilla. I would highly recommend the market to anyone who is looking for a variety of options that will blow your mind. I also highly suggest the dessert bar called Mascarpone!

Love this spot. Amazing views. Excellent selection of food weather you are looking for pizza, fresh seafood, meat, empanadas and more. Amazing back patio and definitely worth staying for an extra drink! Enjoy the view and the amazing selection of food.

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I like to eat where the locals eat because they know where to get the best food at a good price. This market is not that. We arrived for an early lunch, soon after the market opened. The workers seemed too busy prepping, and were not eager to help us. In one booth, there wasn't even anyone working there and I had to wait a while for someone to show up. No big deal, I get it, we're there early. I ordered a few items from a pastry shop that sells empanadas and things wrapped in phyllo dough. The gal put them into the toaster oven and then sold them to me (I think I pad about 8 euros for three items). They were barely warm, and not at all melty. I had a couple of bites and got bored. My girlfriend didn't like them either so she went and got a pasta/spinach salad. It too, was unimpressive. The best thing we had here were the beers. This place feels super corporate, every booth seems to be sponsored by Aperol or a cerveza company. It's beautiful building and everything feels new and clean. But the food was so-so and expensive compared to other (better) meals that we ate. If you want a more authentic experience, skip this place and walk across the bridge to the nearby market in Triana. You can eat and drink for half the price and the food is way better.

Great variety of options for food and drink with great outdoor space overlooking the river. Only reason this isn't a five is that the food wasn't over the top good. We had a panini and a caprese salad - which were adequate but nothing special. Would return.

This place is right by the Triana bridge and has outdoor seating available. There seemed to be a bar outside also but we were ordering food/ drinks inside and carrying them out as were most people. We ordered a bottle of rose which was really nice. Also got some tapas mixed hot and cold. Bought olive and artichokes on toothpicks and olives were stuffed with peppers pretty good. And then artichoke on flatbread over tapenade served cold and chicken and mushroom on flatbread that was heated for a few min and all were great. A little pricey but probably because of the location.

Great place. Must for the foodie. The variety in a marche format is wonderful contrast in a city of tapas bars; not sure why is a farmers market but maybe something lost in translation. We had a wide selection from an superb thin crust pizza to oriental dumplings and noodles. Coffee and desserts to comfort the sweet tooth. Open style, self serve format with smoking allowed only outdoor. Smoking is a nemesis and pitfall in all areas of country. Sad to see young females seem to think it stylish and trendy, and recent initiative to ban smoking indoors is a great start to better health and environment for everyone. Staff was friendly and attentive, clearing our table several times as we sampled the cuisine. Beer and wine bars to compliment your meal. Have a stroll along the river before and after.
