"A must-stop on the traditional handicraft circuit, this massive market—stretching four city blocks in Miraflores!—is home to stall after stall of kitschy bric-a-brac, pre-Columbian–style pottery, alpaca everything and an endless array of Andes-inspired arts and crafts. Come and shop around."

I got super scammed there by a woman called Nancy Mondragon Gallo who sells picture frames and mirrors in a corner shop called Artesania El Arte. I paid to have three pictures marked. After lots of delays I had one done to a very substandard level in a different cheaper frame that I paid for. Would recommend to avoid this shop at all cost and the whole Mercado Indio.

The best place to find affordable baby alpaca and gifts for all occasions. Always extremely friendly and attentive without being pushy like other places. It’s inside the Inka Market in the entrance Centro Artesanal Indios. Great place 👍🏼

A typical market in Peru targeted at tourists. You won’t find locals shopping here, this is for tourists to buy souvenirs. The prices are ok but you’re supposed to haggle. Don’t accept the first price. Many shopkeepers will have calculators or use the calculator on your phone to communicate price if you don’t speak Spanish.

Great place to find souvenirs. We didn't find the sellers to be pushy at all and the place was very clean.

I went to the store when you enter and go to the store directly on your left. The guy was friendly and not pushy. Very helpful but not annoying. Good English

Loved the variety of merchandise there. Scarfs, ponchos, fabric by the meter, placemat sets, custom made purses. Much more to see than I mentioned.

So many cool things but my god the pressure from the people is almost unbearable. I understand they need to make money but being all up in someone's face, trying to make them feel bad or to buy something you have no interest in is a put off.
