Three Waters Resort and Marina Hotel Review | Hotels Above Par

"An option for fans of bold Latin flavors offering small bites and casual plates—menu highlights include an Elote dip, a Shrimp & Avocado Tostada, as well as classic quesadillas and tacos—positioned as a flavorful counterpoint to the resort’s seafood offerings."

The alcoholic drinks were pretty good and the corn and chips dip was definitely our favorite! Not to mention — $12 fully loaded burritos? Unheard of! We also tried the chicken quesadilla with spicy mayo, and it was absolutely delicious. Great food, great value, and great vibes overall. Highly recommend!

Drinks were fantastic. Mojito and margarita. Papusa was delish! Food was great. Only complaint would be slow service and server got part of our order wrong. But the food made up for it. As locals to the lower Keys, I’d eat here again when I’m in the upper keys.

A tasty place located within Three Waters for some pretty good food. Service is timely and location is unbeatable; it’s right on the water, integrated into the resort. It’s definitely a little overpriced- like $15 for chips and salsa was a little crazy. But food is decent quality, though the portions are all just small. Would definitely come again if I was staying at the hotel out of pure convenience and location.

Stopped in for drinks and snacks. Had a salsa flight recommended by the bartender/server Jhoanna. It was delicious and just want we wanted. Her drinks were equally amazing. Had the Paloma and the el Diablo. Chefs kiss!

Delightful outdoor oceanside dining. We have eaten here for the past four days. Service is consistently good. Adi was our server two of the days and is attentive without being pesky. We’ve tried for different breakfast items and all were good with the Pina Colada French Toast being outstanding and our group’s favorite. Food arrives quickly and you can stay as long as you like. One day, we were relaxing SO much, that we could have stayed for lunch. Try it out. You’ll enjoy yourselves!

Stopped in on a whim, and so glad we did!! The entire property was recently renovated, and it's just beautiful. The drinks were fine, but the food was as spectacular as the view. Both the hostess and our server Shanoya were very sweet and helpful.

Our only bad experience while at Three Waters Resort. We went down for breakfast our first morning. The maintenance guys were power washing in front of the restaurant, politely stopped and flagged us through as we passed. We seated ourselves as nobody was at the hostess stand. So far so good. After a few minutes of nobody 'noticing' us i flagged a 'waitress/manager?' down to let her know we had just arrived. She brought water and menus and walked away. So far, so good. We waited 8 minutes - the only person seeming to notice us was a busboy... and he just looked at us sadly, like he knew the situation. I then flagged down the waitress and asked for silverware - hoping that would bring us into the sphere of consciousness- but no luck. Mind you, this whole time newly arriving guests were being seated and served. Finally, 10 minutes after the last 8 minute mark we abandoned the attempt. Happily there is the very lovely Lagoon Cafe only a very short drive away on Tavernier - we loved that place so perhaps we owe a thank you to Mercado Morada.

Absolutely amazing! Food was 10/10! Atmosphere was beautiful at night! Service was perfect! Our server Chantal was a delight! Also, got our local conch card! So nice to have the locals perk! New favorite!

Yelp
Jhoanna was our bartender and server at Mercado and she was amazing. Drinks were superb. Highly recommend the El Diablo and the Paloma. Jhoanna was so sweet and personable. Went above and beyond. 10 out of 10 recommend.

Yelp
After a long day of travel, excited to see that the resort had a restaurant where we could grab dinner. It's a beautiful backscape as the dining area is right on the water. We also had the pleasure of enjoying live music nearby. We were greeted warmly and our server was attentive. Food from the kitchen came out a bit slow but the team acknowledged and apologized. The highlight at the table was the tostones - crispy bottoms with a flavorful topping. The shrimp tostada was fresh and creamy. And who doesn't love an elote plate?

Yelp
Who woulda thought you could get such incredible food views and service in the middle of a downpour ! Food was superb! The elote dip was delicious! Tacos amazing and get the salsa trio too! The drinks were amazing as well. Sadly it rained so hard while we were there and it is all outside seating, however our server went above and beyond for us. Even when we said we wanted another drink we told him we didn't want him to have to walk through the rain (as the bar was in a cool camper across from where we were sitting) he replied with "it's no problem I have an umbrella!" Him and the hostess ran over there made drinks and he carried them back with her holding the umbrella. Honestly that was enough for us to say 5 stars. Going above and beyond like that. I would highly recommend coming here and I hope you get better weather but even in a storm WORTH IT!

Yelp
Great lunch spot with an amazing view. The food was really good. Keisha took care of us and she was lovely.

Yelp
We had the chips and pico. The chips were greasy and left a "fishy" taste in my mouth. I ordered the tamale and it was very small and very mushy. We mentioned it to our waitress and the food manager did come to speak with us. She was very understanding and "made it right". I'm not a picky eater so for me to not like the food it had to be pretty bad. I'm giving 3 stars only due to the staff. Food only would be 0 stars.

Yelp
The view is great and the food is decent but the service was terrible. We ate breakfast here 3 days in a row and were underwhelmed every time.

Yelp
Great service, great ambiance, great food, and our server Dewa was great, we want to come soon again!

Yelp
Great spot! We had chicken quesadillas, loaded tostones, chips and guac, and fries. Everything was super fresh, especially the fries - best I've had in a while. The Oaxaca Old Fashioned was tasty. Service was attentive, and Sagun from Nepal was a gem. Love the view on such a beautiful day.

Yelp
Worst service ever it's not worth it if you're getting more than one drink or one order of food. You'll turn into a corpse before a waiter comes to help you again.
