This place has a nice ambiance, good food, and good service. While they have non-fish choices, you're above the fish market, so, hey, you should have fish. We had the dourado and the linguado. Both were cooked nicely and served with a nice side dish of steamed veggies (collards, cabbage and carrots - quite tasty) and potatoes. Of course, you have to drink wine in Portugal, so we also had a very good white wine from the Douro region. We finished with some really delicious desserts ( chocolate mousse pie and a caramel creme torte - layers of wafer-thin cake with a caramel cream filling) and coffee. It was all very good, and the price was appropriate for the quality of the food, drink, and service.
I would have given this place 5 stars if it had been the first place I had dined at in Aveiro, but the night before we had better food for substantially less. You won't go wrong with this place, but you could do better.
