Mercat de Russafa is a vibrant marketplace located in Valencia, Spain, where you can find an array of fresh produce, local delicacies, and artisanal goods. With its bustling atmosphere and diverse offerings, it's a delightful destination for food enthusiasts and visitors alike. Having frequented this market numerous times, I can attest to its excellent quality and variety of products. From seasonal fruits and vegetables to freshly caught seafood and aromatic spices, Mercat de Russafa never fails to impress. The friendly vendors and lively ambiance add to the overall experience, making each visit memorable. Whether you're stocking up on groceries or simply exploring the local flavors, this market is a must-visit destination in Valencia. Highly recommended!

Bought a bag of coffee beans 🫘 and a bottle of Verdejo wine after my visit. They also have some Japanese and Korean shops if you missed that. It’s slightly smaller than the famous Mercat de Central and slightly bigger and more vibrant than Mercat de Colon. Grab your fish on any day other than Monday, someone said.

Smaller version of Mercat Central, not so much touristic. You can buy same products, fresh juices etc.

Great market in Russafa - plenty of great produce, meat, seafood, wine and other things. Great neighbourhood market. Central market has more options - but this is more local. Good restaaurants nearby.

This market was a positive surprise! Most of the tourists might came to the Central market (and I totally think this beautiful market needs to be visited once). But I prefer the market in Russafa for a culinary experience. Prices are lower but with a great selection of different foods. We came for lunch and tried paellas, croquet and all kind of pastry. But the best were the Oysters, shrimps and cava, which we had in the fish area of the market. For coffee visit the small stall called “Ikore Kofi”

Our favorite market in Valencia. Great selection of vendors for jamón, fruit, and most things we wanted. Much less chaotic than Mercat Central.

Everything you need with good prices and fewer tourists. Mushroom and alge kiosk is my fav. Great market.

It may not be as big as the Mercat Central, but it’s less touristy and features a diverse range of stalls. Great place to pick up some quality fruits, vegetables, meats and more. If you have the time, it’s definitely worth having a wander through
