This is a nicely located hotel, 5 minutes walk to the Shwedagon Pagoda. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The room I had was somewhat small and the shower was more a wet room as there was no separation from it and the bathroom but still got the job done. A good breakfast and bar area on the roof which has amazing views of the pagoda lit up at night.

My favorite choice in Yangon. Rooms might look a bit tired, but everything was very clean, including sheets, pillows and towels. The hotel is several minutes from the Eastern Gate of Shwedagon pagoda, in a quaint neighborhood with many monasteries.||The view of Shwedagon from the roof top bar is fantastic at night. The buffet breakfast offers lots of Western and Asian options, fruit and veggies. The staff was nice and helpful in an unobtrusive way and I really liked the glass water dispenser in the room.||Just around the corner from the hotel there is a great little restaurant - Jana Mon Ethnic Cuisine. You can get snacks and fruit from the market below the Eastern stairs of Shwedagon (they make delicious rice pancakes there) and in front of the hotel there is a tiny place serving good strong coffee.||Overall great value for money.

I had a good stay at this hotel. It's nothing fancy, mind you, but it's clean and well-maintained. My room was a good size and got good sunlight. I don't normally watch TV but was presently surprised that most of the channels were in English, even the ones about Myanmar. The staff are friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast is just okay, as the Western options are pretty minimal and uninspired, particularly the breads (I had to resort to eating cereal). The rooftop view is nice, but the facility itself isn't as good as it looks in person. Good, fair price for taxi to the airport. Thanks guys.

If you are looking to stay at an independently owned business close to the Pagoda, this is the right place. Although it is not downtown, there are plenty of attractions nearby and the hotel has a carpark to safely book a taxi. The staff are very attentive with great English. Special mention to those working during my stay who accommodated and prepared our check-in early. The rooftop restaurant and bar is amazing, overlooking the Pagoda. The included breakfast buffet has a range of savoury Burmese dishes and was accommodating for my dietary requirements. There are some rooms which do not have windows, that may be an issue for some. The location was not ideal for my trip but my stay here made up for it!

Spotless room with everything you need, bathroom a bit basic. Located in a nice neighborhood, taxi takes you I 10 minutes to the centre. Nice rooftop bar to have a beer with a view on the pagoda, which is a 5 minute walk away. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

This place is clean, new and nice. The rooftop has the best view of Shwedagon pagoda and is a great place to watch the sunset. Everything is tidy and they give you an ample supply of water and a fridge. I recommend staying here. The breakfast buffet is average and plentiful- you can order from a bespoke menu which is really nice and fresh. We ordered room service and I was very surprised by the quality- a great steak- cooked perfectly and a great burger. The staff are very polite and most speak English well. On our last day, the power in our room went out (because they were tinkering with the electricity) and they handled the situation poorly, wanting us to move to a smaller room and not even helping us with our belongings or providing a light so we could see our things- it wasted a lot of time on our last day and they should have done something helpful or offered a nice gesture to apologise. I hope they improve in this area. I would have given a bad review as it was an absolute shambles and upsetting, but every other day was perfect and it really is a good hotel.

Very friendly staff in this well situated hotel We loved our clean room even if it had no windows . It was quiet and the roof terrace , where we had breakfast , has a great view on Shwedagon Pagoda . The breakfast buffet has a nice variety of Asian and Western food . The price performance ratio is is perfect . Maybe not a holiday hotel but a perfect stay on a roundtrip tour .

Good value for money - hotel was opened in 2015, so, at the time of our visit (Feb., 2016) condition was great; price per night used to be ~60 USD. They have a huge roof with a perfect panoramic view, which was not utilized during our visit, but would make up a great roof top bar. Service was nice and front desk staff was helpful and full of information about nearby objects. As for the "Art" in the hotel's name - well, somewhat questionable - mainly, pop-art knock-offs & some optical illusion paintings - that's it.
