Purchased a deal on Travelzoo for 3 course lunch with a hot drink for £24 for two people. We had never visited this Restaurant before but knew about it from our trips into Nottingham . We had three choices for each course ,when it arrived the food was beautifully presented , especially the starter's and the desserts. The food also tasted great ,we had no complaints . The service was also good and very friendly , we did encounter a problem with our bill , however it was quickly rectified and they couldn't apologize enough . We will definitely go again , possibly for the Taster menu they offer in the evening . A great find on Travelzoo .

Very disappointing. We came for Sunday lunch and had the set course menu. The mains were okay, my wife had the roast beef which had a decently sized portion and nice veg, but might have hoped for more than 1 not very warm slice of beef. I had pan fried hake which was a little over cooked and very salty. The desserts were particularly disappointing though, on our table of 5, one apple crumble was served without any crumble (but the other way okay), my sticky toffee pudding was cold and had practically solid sauce, and the panna cotta was set too hard. Service throughout was slow, serving unifished good, and to top it off, we were charged for three courses for all 5 of us, despite only ordering two courses each.

Fantastic meal last night. Very talented chef, with some interesting combos. The duck main with apple and cheese was just perfect; very rare that I struggle to find anything to critique but everything was perfect. Service was also excellent.

I booked the Saint Bar out for a Christening. Despite them being busy with a wedding and what looked like another event, our needs were met the staff attentive and the venue as always (pre and post refurb) was and is excellent. Twenty years I’ve been coming here and watched it turn from an overly stuffy far too ‘above itself’ venue to somewhere which has matured for the market and mostly delivers a great service. Alex Durdle our bartender was awesome. Not only hospitable and personable and great with all the guests I appreciate so much people like this who represent Nottingham’s bar scene so well. Clearly knows his way around a bar, made me a great Gin and an asset to any bar - thank you Alex as it was mostly You who made our day - cheers

A wonderful place in a lovely setting, with delicious food at incredibly reasonable prices. The Sunday set menu is full of delicious dishes and the waiting staff are incredibly friendly and happy to help. The puďings, shown above are paticularly good. I am inventing reasons to go back again soon.

Came here for breakfast. I ordered the pancakes with maple syrup and bacon - the pancakes were almost inedibly stodgy and I wasn’t told until the food was in front of me that they had no maple syrup and had substituted honey instead (which, had I known earlier, would have led me to order something else). My partner opted for the full English, which included a sad little beige sausage, soggy toast and overdone hash brown. When the coffee (basic filter; nothing elaborate) is the most interesting thing on the table, something has gone horribly wrong. They wanted £20 in exchange for this dismal experience; hardly a king’s ransom, but given the standard of the food, this breakfast was still one of the most overpriced meals I have had in years.

Very very happy with the service, food was great! Staff were friendly and happy to help, the decor of the restaurant was classy and modern! I even turned up very late for my booking and the staff were still lovely and welcoming, I highly recommend!

The food was outstanding. The Chef came out to meet us. We told him how wonderful food was. The staff were very welcoming and made us feel very special. Worth a visit. Carol and Dave Cresswell
