I had a wonderful stay at Mercure Hotel La Gare and couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and professional, making check-in smooth and efficient. The hotel is spotless, with excellent cleanliness throughout, and the stylish décor gives the whole place a modern, comfortable atmosphere. The beds were especially comfy, ensuring a great night’s sleep. A very special thank you to Mr Evard and Ms Nga for their outstanding support. They kindly helped me move the dates of my stay, looked after me throughout my visit, and were consistently professional and truly client-oriented. Their attention and care made a big difference and turned a great stay into an exceptional one. I will definitely stay here again and highly recommend Mercure Hotel La Gare to anyone looking for comfort, quality service, and great hospitality.

BEST HOTEL IN HANOI ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We stayed at Mercure Hanoi La Gare for 12 nights and had the best experience. The rooms were modern, spotless, and very comfortable. The location is convenient, the pricing is reasonable, and it was perfect for a longer stay. The staff truly made the difference. A special shout-out to Hung, Minh, Alice, Manager Nga, Nguyên Tran, Phương Linh, and Thu, all were attentive, welcoming, and extremely knowledgeable. Their food recommendations were awesome. Having travelled to Hanoi 8–10 times and stayed in many hotels, this has easily been the best! Our only small suggestion would be to refresh the furniture in the lobby and restaurant areas, as it’s starting to feel a little tired. A simple update would really elevate the space. Highly recommended, and we would absolutely stay here again.

The rooms are a bit small but they are really nice. Blond wood laminate flooring, rain style shower head (with a handheld tool), efficient cooling system in the room, toiletries supplies, multi use outlets, soft pillows, nice bedding and a extra pillows in the closet. No extra blanket. No USB outlets. No bar of soap - only the dispensers. No smaller hand dry towels only larger bath towels and medium sized hand towels. Breakfast is nice. Lots of Vietnamese options, omelettes, salads, fried eggs and various coffee options. Our hair dryer didn't work properly in the morning. When we returned in the afternoon it hadn't been replaced. It was quickly when we asked the front desk again. The fitness center is weak. Nice treadmill but really that's about it. The hallways and lobby are lacking a bit. The rooms are actually much nicer than the common areas. Walking distance 1.5 km to 1.8 km to Opera House, Train Street, Red Bridge, Old Quarter...

Every time I come to Hanoi and stay at Mercure Hanoi La Gare, I find it hard to imagine staying anywhere else. It’s not just about the location or the facilities, but the sense of warmth and familiarity — it truly feels like a home away from home. From the thoughtful care in every small detail to the genuine kindness of the staff, everything makes me feel comfortable and at ease. In particular, the enthusiasm and friendliness of chi Huong, Trang, Thu, Thanh, and Van Anh create a special connection that makes each return feel less like a hotel stay and more like coming home. That feeling alone is what keeps me from wanting — or needing — to change to another hotel.

I stayed at the Mercure Hotel for three days (from Dec 1st - Dec 3rd), and overall, it was a really comfortable stay. The staff were warm and easy to talk to, not overly formal, just genuinely helpful. My room was clean and cozy, and the bed was actually more comfortable than I expected. I slept really well each night. Breakfast was decent with enough options to start the day, nothing over the top but good. The location was convenient too, so getting around was no hassle. Overall, I had a smooth and pleasant stay. Nothing to complain about, and I’d be happy to come back the next time I’m in the area.

I stayed here for four nights during the new year celebration and the location of this hotel is very nice. Not too hassle since it’s not right at the major tourist spots but close enough for you to commute to those locations like old quarters or the lake, and there’s many good restaurants nearby. I really enjoyed their breakfast as the food itself tasted good and the staff took good care of the guests. There’s Vietnamese food, Pho and Bun cha, that was served hot and other asian cuisine, like Thai and Korean are available. The house keeping also makes sure that everything is cleaned once I’m back from exploring the city!

My first stay at this hotel which is located near the Hanoi Railway station. Check in was smooth and the person in charge was very friendly and polite. The room was not ready as I had arrived just around mid day but she was kind enough to search for another room and upgrade my stay because I am an Accor gold member. Room was nice and clean with full facilities. She also provided me with a fruit platter. The hotel was also within walking distance to the old quarter of Hanoi city. Overall a pleasant stay with friendly staff.
