Mercure Hanoi la Gare

Located strategically in the city. It is very nearby to good restaurants with just walking distance. Room size is decent, but the bathroom is kind of small with a door that can't be close tightly. Water pressure is all right. Staff were politely and friendly. Breakfast is just so so only, the taste really need a lots of improvement. You won't miss anything if breakfast is not included. You can easily get food or Grab food in Hanoi.

Extremely professional and polite staff right from when you're greeted at the front door. Place was clean. Room had everything you could need. Bed was comfy. Location was perfect. Food and shops minutes away. You'd easily pay $200+/ night in the US for a place like this. Would stayb here again If ever back in Hanoi .

My friend and I shared a twin room, 708. We were staying there with our tour group, but decided to arrive a day early to rest up after long flights. The room was very small and we have trouble finding enough space for us and luggage. The room was only large enough for two twin beds and one small shared night stand. We asked if the hotel room booked by our tour group was any better and were told they are all the same size. Other people in our group said their room size was okay, but not us. To make things worse, due to the small space, I knocked over a glass water bottle and it broke. The hotel had a letter hand delivered to me, to inform me that I should go down to the front desk and pay for it. This was petty and insulting--a simple bottle. The best thing about the hotel is the restaurant, it had good food and service. I would recommend staying at a different hotel.

My room was solid and comfortable but closer to an ibis hotel in terms of specs. What makes this hotel truly shine is the service. Everyone in the staff was very helpful and reliable. I asked and received their help multiple times. Breakfast was good and had many options, a good value for the price. Location was great, with easy access to many different attractions.

Over all it was amazing, from checking in to check out. Breakfast is good. A lot of healthy choices from fresh fruits to heavy meal. Rooms are clean and smell fresh.

The location is perfect, close to all the main spots and super convenient for getting around.||||The staff were fantastic—so friendly and helpful. They really made me feel welcome and went out of their way to make sure everything was just right.||||The food was delicious, especially the breakfast, which had so many great options to choose from. Everything was fresh and tasty.||||The room was clean, comfy, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hanoi.

We had a great stay at Mercure Hanoi last December! Location- Perfect location, walkable to Old Quarter, Train Street- if you are booking a tour this hotel is very convenient as its inside the Old Quarter, tour companies can pick you up from here Rooms- average size, all basic amenities are provided Service- Everyone is very helpful from Doorman, Front Desk, Restaurant Staff! Thank you for the wonderful hospitality Food- Breakfast offers wide variety of options, which includes their local Pho and variety of fruits, we also tried Light Dinner and enjoyed their Satay and Spring Rolls, serving is quite decent. Definitely recommended!

We had an excellent stay at Mercure La Gare Hanoi. The location is perfect—situated away from the hustle and bustle of busy streets, offering a peaceful environment, but still within easy reach of major attractions. The rooms were impressively clean and spacious, making for a very comfortable stay.||||Special thanks to Ms. Dao and her team for their outstanding service in accommodating our large group booking. Their attention to detail and dedication to ensuring a smooth experience made our stay even more enjoyable.||||Overall, our experience was very pleasant, and we would definitely return if we have the opportunity.
