The redeeming quality is the good location next to a good mall. Rooms have dirty carpets. My feet is dirty when walking inside the room. Glasses are not clean. Insufficient heating in the room. They did give me early check in which was nice. One thing that annoys me the most is that during check in, they charges me in foreign currency which I never agreed to (I wanted to pay in ZAR). I asked the transaction to be voided but the receptionist said it cannot be done...

I have been there before, so it was a familiar return to good services. However I had an experience that stressed me. They didn't accept the USD at the point of payment for my reservation. It put me into so much stress.

The room is not cleaned properly,the carpet feels dusty and dirty. I didn't have towels in my room repeatedly had to ask for towels. Eventually I had to walk down to reception to keep running after staff to supply me with towels. My pots were not washed and left for me to take care of myself. The apartments are supposed to supply this service. Worst stay ever,I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Worst hotel i have been too. A/C doesn't work in the rooms. Room wasn't cleaned had broken glass on the floor. Self catering accommodation but there's no cutlery in the kitchen. Booked the rooms about a month ago. When we reached the accommodation at 9 in the night we was checked into rooms like this. Had to cancel my booking and look for another hotel at 11pm was also traveling with kids. If I could rate this place zero stars I would have. Terrible accommodation would never recommend this place to anyone.

We had a short but pleasant stay at Mercure Hotel Bedfordview. The location is quite convenient—though not directly by the airport, it took us less than 15 minutes to get there, which was perfect for our needs.||We stayed in an apartment, which, while not the most well-maintained, was still comfortable and functional for our brief stay. One downside was that the AC was only in the living room, so we had to leave the bedroom door open for airflow, which wasn’t ideal.||Overall, it’s a good option for a short stay with easy access to the airport, but some improvements in room maintenance and cooling could make it even better.

Had lots of problems, airport shuttle didn’t turn up, endless disagreements over whether my room had been prepaid, restaurant accounts incorrect and no invoice, and surly reluctance to pay for a replacement arrival shuttle. Restaurant staff were lovely and food good.
