I had a great time catching up with my brother. The hotel entrance was super cool and beautiful. And the pool at the back of the hotel was amazing! At night, you can see a bunch of foreigners enjoying dinner at the hotel’s unplugged bar. They’re listening to English music and having a blast. Dinner tonight was delicious too!

Having a good time enjoying scenic view of Mandalay hill. I could stroll around the hotel in the morning. Breakfast was quite satisfactory with local delicacies. A lot of parking place is an advantage. Its a worthwhile stay apart from being a little isolated from the neighbourhood.

We were happily surprised by the gorgeous spa. I don't use the spa at every hotel I visit, but this one is a must. The floating stones and water feature surrounding the spa are brilliant. We also loved the puppet show and outdoor dinner. It was the perfect way to enjoy an evening after touring the gorgeous nearby Buddhist temples. The hotel staff was genuinely helpful and I appreciated how they helped my elderly parents. They cannot wait to help in the restaurant and made sure we had everything we needed. Loved it.

I'm late on writing this review. We visited this resort back in February 2019 we were gone for a month and a half . With that being said on to the review.|This was one of the most memorable stays I've ever had anywhere ...where to begin! Hotel extremely clean , beautifully decorated awesome staff polite ,helpful, They aim to please...so much to do and see we were only there three nights . They have the most amazing spa my husband and I were in the same room relaxing music treatments were done at the same time the spa area is a must see you just won't believe it . It's heavenly. awesome pool area . We had dinner outside every night They had marionette show and some dancing and singing storytelling we enjoyed ourselves so much the first night and just kept going back. Beautiful gardens throughout the whole complex. Beautiful lounge for the suite guest drinks hors d'oeuvres, down stairs off the lobby a wonderful bar with music , across the way on other side of the lobby Fine restaurant so we were told. But we ate outside the barbecue area where they had the Entertainment shows. We did set up a couple private tours of the area with a guide. Definitely want to go back there. This place did not disappoint. It was all amazing.....

It's a great choice as ever. They can maintain their service until now. Wishing not to go out from this industry as room occupancy is fewer than their service. Only thing is it seems a bit far down town but it's not for me as only few minutes driving distance.

An excellent hotel, well decorated & maintained. Plenty of public space. Room was large, comfortably furnished, bathroom spotlessly clean. Staff efficient, friendly, helpful & professional. Happy Hour at the Kipling bar very pleasant, good choice of tapas, great selection of cocktails ( and the barman certainly knew how to make them) at very reasonable prices. We had a meal at the Ming Chinese restaurant which was excellent and very good value for money. We had one of the set meals the, 5 courses for $19. Lovely swimming pool with plenty of space & sun loungers and a fabulous view of Mandalay Hill. Well located, we were able to walk to Mandalay Hill, Sandamuni Pagoda & to stroll around the perimeter of the old Royal Palace easily from the hotel. I’d certainly recommend this hotel to anyone considering staying in Mandalay. As our flight was leaving in the evening we asked if we could keep our room until it was time for us to go to the airport and were able to do so at no charge.

This is a very nice hotel at the bottom of Mandalay Hill. We were lucky to be given a very spacious room with great views towards the city and sunset. Very comfortable although the bathroom was quite small. Hotel facilities generally very good with an excellent buffet for dinner and breakfast. A huge range to choose from. The Ming restaurant was also good but very quiet. This is a good point from which to walk up the 1700 steps to the top of the hill to see the sunset. Staff were all delightful and helpful.

After a long journey from the UK to Bangkok and then onward to Myanmar we were looking forward to a warm Burmese welcome and comfortable 2 night stay in Mandalay and that's exactly what we received ! ||||As part of a small tour group we arrived 'en masse' but the check-in was smooth and efficient with our luggage taken care of almost invisibly. There was a bit of a wait for the lift to the 5th Floor (Room #510) as the two lifts are quite small but that wasn't a problem and we were soon in our comfortable room - nothing too 'special' but having all the facilities that you would expect in a modern, global brand establishment. The view from our room was out to Mandalay over the front of the car park - quite nice to see the working city 'waking up' in the morning light after a good night's sleep in a large comfortable bed.||||We enjoyed the breakfast - good service and choice of food to start the day with - we managed to get a nice table most mornings despite it being busy with plenty of fellow travellers and business people from around the world. We asked for Earl Grey tea and this was delivered quickly and was most enjoyable (we like our morning brew).||||Our daytimes were spent 'sight seeing' and we were happy to return to Mandalay Hill Resort to relax, get changed and take advantage of the culinary offerings - first night we ate outside near the pool where a buffet BBQ and entertainment by the local Puppet Company' was presented - quite a treat and it made us realise that "yes, we are in Burma". The hotel excelled here in that we had advised that we were vegetarian and they went more than an extra mile to ensure that we were individually catered for with a few dishes specially prepared and reserved for us - we ate really well, enjoyed the spicy food immensely had a wonderful evening in a delightful setting. The second night we didn't have a massive appetite as we had a late lunch, so we settled into Kipling's Bar (maximising Happy Hour) for drinks and Tapas - all very nice - great table service again with the biggest beaming smile and very competitively priced. So, we drank and ate well and didn't get chance to visit the restaurant which was a shame, but we had new adventures of Burma waiting in store.||||We really enjoyed our brief stay here, well done to the staff in all parts of the hotel who were always ready to please.
