We had an absolutely wonderful stay. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, everything was smooth, welcoming, and perfectly organized. The team at check-in made us feel instantly at ease — professional, friendly, and genuinely attentive. The check-out experience was just as pleasant, handled efficiently with a smile and great care. A special thank you as well to the housekeeping staff. Our room was spotless every day, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable. Their attention to detail truly made a difference and contributed greatly to the quality of our stay. It’s always the people who make the experience memorable, and this team clearly takes pride in what they do. We would happily return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, professionalism, and warm hospitality. Thank you again for such a lovely stay!

Very nice interior of hotel Mercure was really as was described and on pictures before I booked my room. I appreciate an effective communication on reception. I tried contact them before on application and they didn’t answered to prolong my staying but when I talked with receptionist, she took me same room and she was very pleasant with my requirements. Hotel is very inconspicuous but interior offers really nice experience. In fact is better, because quiet part of city is exactly what I tried to find, not too far from main public transport lines and if you’ve car, then is all very easy. Hopefully I had not any problem in my room as I’m now reading in other reviews. First day I was busy and couldn’t order breakfast even when receptions tryed to push me order it… then next day I decided to try it. Breakfast was nice, it wasn’t too huge but all looked fresh and tasty. Typical Italian food for breakfast, sweet pastry and variation of cheeses with some hams and salami, offer of vegetable and fruit was modest… in description was written the breakfast is really good but I would say it was little more than average. Nice served and clean and styled environment but approach of work stuff on bar and waiters is really lax..! when you don’t go to them and don’t ask… in this level and price of hotel I would expect friendly and pro active approach. This is only what I see that should be improved, not too bad but still is that what is missing to perfection. In general I aprreciate profesionality of receptionist and my staying was nice, (in hotel is underground garage for fee which is for location acceptable. The car is in safe and that was important for me). Hopefully when I come to Rome again I will accommodate again if all will work with hotel like now.

I could hear everything from the other rooms or the restaurant below. Luckily the restaurant was closing at 00:00, but unfortunately (understandably) people talking at breakfast at 06:00 AM, we’re giving us an undesirable wake up call. Location good, close to the metro station. Staff were polite and helpful. Would say this is a 2, max 3 star hotel in 3rd world countries.

We stayed with my husband in the penthouse for 5 nights. Unfortunately, the experience did not match the expectations for this category of room. From the very beginning, the service was unfriendly. The reception staff did not make us feel welcome at all. The woman with glasses who checked us in was particularly unpleasant and unhelpful. Upon check-in, we were not informed that the bar was included. This information was never clearly communicated to us. When checking out, instead of apologizing, the same receptionist insisted that she had told us, which is simply not true. Our English is very good, and we are confident we would have understood and remembered such important information if it had been mentioned. Another major downside was cleanliness. The tiles in the penthouse were extremely dirty and clearly had not been washed, which is unacceptable for a penthouse-level room. Overall, the rude service, poor communication, and lack of cleanliness significantly affected our stay.

I stayed at this hotel for two nights and had a very disappointing experience. The hotel is not located downtown. It is in a residential area surrounded by apartment buildings. Even with a window room, you are looking directly into someone else’s apartment, which felt uncomfortable. The location is not convenient at all.The biggest letdown was the air conditioning. Despite requesting it multiple times, the AC was never turned on. The staff said it was not their decision and blamed government rules. However, the hotel description clearly states, “Make yourself at home in one of the 101 air-conditioned rooms featuring minibars and LED televisions.” This was extremely frustrating, especially in such hot weather. Staying without AC was very uncomfortable.If this is truly a rule, guests should be informed in advance. A message during booking or a clear notice at the hotel would help people prepare. Unfortunately, this shows a lack of professionalism for what is marketed as a high-end hotel.

I stayed here in July for my birthday and it was a beautiful hotel. It gave luxury but yet still provided a comfortable environment, perfect for relaxation. I thought the price was incredible and the location is ideal with very efficient metro stops nearby. Majority of the staff were absolutely lovely, specifically Jessica, and extremely accommodating. There was the odd member of staff that I had unfortunately found to be rather rude, not very attentive, ignored my partner on multiple occasions, and not the most welcoming demeanour. However, we did pay to have the breakfast buffet added and I found myself being highly dissatisfied. It was completely tasteless, and the foods were not fresh (besides the fruit). The options were minimal and bland, especially in comparison to the photos demonstrated on their website. It was a massive let down & I do hate to speak poorly on the hotel as I did still have an amazing stay here. But the breakfast partially ruined it. The rest of the menu was fantastic!

We had a lovely 3 night stay here last month. |We didn't want to stay right in the heart of the city, so chose this hotel in a residential area, a short metro ride away from the main tourist spots. |The hotel is very unassuming from the outside, but has a very modern, slick and stylish interior and garden area.|There was a slight mix-up with our booking, but this was swiftly taken care of by the team at the hotel and we were also given 2 complimentary cocktails. |The room was very clean and spacious, and had complimentary bathroom essentials and drinks. |The breakfast had a wide selection to choose from, which was all fresh and simply delicious. The coffee was 10/10 also! |The staff were very helpful and lovely and helped make our stay in Rome an unforgettable one.

The location is great and the service was good. We had an issue with our room, and the hotel staff did their best to solve it. When they couldn't solve it, they transferred us to a different room the next day. In general, the hotel is very clean, with excellent bedding and an amazing breakfast. We recommend staying in this hotel.
