It was disappointing that there was no tea/coffee facilities in the room. Other than that (and nearby barking dogs), I enjoyed the stay. The gym and pool were good to use, and a taxi rank right outside was a bonus. A guide to some local amenities would have been useful.

Booking a nice getaway I thought… but what a disappointment it was. Rooms are not soundproof at all. Saturday and Sunday there were parties across the street and if felt like being in the party itself, in my room, windows and curtains closed. You could not even FaceTime someone, that’s how loud it was, bear in mind in an executive room! The last morning of my stay I woke up with a rash on my skin like I’ve never seen before. My guess from the bedding or towels. When trying to file a complaint at checkout, to try to avoid other people experiencing the same, the front desk staff would not even write it down and said I could give feedback online. Wow, shocked! I am a very frequent traveler, both for work as privately, but this has been one of my worst hotel experiences ever!

We had an amazing time at the mercure ! The staff was very welcoming, the breakfast absolutely delicious and the room cozy. We definitely recommend it !

A very unfriendly place. The staff were all rude to the point to make me think about cancelling my whole stay. It's Christmas Eve and this was the worse Christmas I have ever had at a hotel. Only grumpies with a NO in the point of their tongue to spit on us. I couldn't have chosen a worse place to spend this special date. I wanted a nice meal, in a good enviroment but things turned out to be pretty much the opposite. It was a bad choice and a huge mistake.

The place is great! Rooms comfortable and the staff were very nice. The restaurant was also well equipped and convenient. Room service was quick and the food arrived warm.

If I could give 0 stars I would. My company booked this hotel for me, and it was absolutely TERRIBLE! I arrived after traveling all day from Porto Alegre at 10:30 pm. I was exhausted and just wanted to shower, eat and rest. As a frequent business traveler, I’ve seen a lot of hotels good, bad, marginal and great. This one is one of the worst hotel experiences of my 50+ years of living: Here’s my brutally honest review: 1) My driver couldn’t find the entrance as you have to go through an underground gate, or walk up a gazillion stairs. 2) The front desk was incompetent, they gave me a room with a broken sliding glass door that wouldn’t close. I had to go downstairs to get a new room and then move all my things. They asked if I wanted maintenance to fix it at midnight - seriously???!; 3) The lights in the hallways go off so it’s dark when you open your door; 4) I ordered room service and it was horrible - salty fish and frozen vegetables; 5) The room and bathroom had multiple light bulbs out; 6) Beds - I asked for a queen, but they didn’t have any available. I got the tiniest most uncomfortable twin beds I’ve ever seen. I slept maybe 3 hours because the mattress was the cheapest of cheap and just plain horrible. I woke up with severe back, neck and shoulder pain; 7) Breakfast was worse than dinner. Who puts condensed milk in eggs and has no breakfast meat, and terrible coffee? They do! Even the cheese bread was nasty! Thankfully my company moved me to Wish Hotel….Talk about an upgrade! Save yourself the time, aggravation and drama. Don’t book this motel masquerading as a hotel. It’s just plain bad!!!

The bed is very old, the springs are coming out of the mattress.

I stayed at this hotel for a few nights a long while ago and always forgot to leave a review. It's a large hotel with a lot to offer. I love skyscraper hotels and enjoyed the high room with a balcony overlooking the city. It's clean, comfortable, and a great price. There is a very cool, very large mall a short walk away from the hotel. ||||The only downside is the location. Other than that mall, there isn't much else that's within an easy walking distance from the hotel. I actually traveled before it says for the review, but that was the earliest I could select. But overall, it was a great hotel.

It's just plain bad!!! Trip typeBusiness · Solo Rooms1.0 Service1.0. Location1.0 Rooms: Horrible small rooms with uncomfortable tiny twin beds. They weren't even big enough for my 8 year old son. Safety: Didn't feel safe at ALL as a single woman traveling alone. Dark hallways, sketchy location and strange noises. Walkability: Not walkable at all. I felt like we were in the middle of the hood. Food & drinksHorrible breakfast with condensed milk in the eggs. Most food was inedible except the fruit. Noteworthy details: Clearly a residential building with a lot of scantily dressed young women all around. This hotel is 2 stars at best. NEVER stay here.
