the location is strategic if you want to travel around Melbourne's city center. It's very close to everything. The lobby is quite cramped, especially when there are tour groups or groups of airline cabin crew present.
There are two elevators, which, considering the number of guests going up and down, and the speed of the lifts, makes the process of getting back to the room or leaving the hotel take a little time.
The breakfast provided was very good, in my opinion. Simple but delicious, especially the fruits. It seemed like there were only 2–3 staff members working as guest check-in attendants and cleaning up the breakfast area, and this made things feel a bit hectic. Plates and glasses were quickly cleared away.
The room was okay, in my opinion. However, the AC/heater needs to be cleaned better, as the dust was visible and detectable by smell.
During my stay, one of the guests was smoking inside their room and then blowing the smoke out into the hallway. I didn't smell it in my room, but another guest seemed to complain, and the hotel staff were quite prompt in taking action.
