Meridian Inn

Our stay at Meridian Inn was genuinely memorable. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed, but what really made the experience stand out was the people. Every staff member, from reception to housekeeping and maintenance, was warm, polite, and always happy to help. We ended up celebrating three special occasions during our trip: our engagement, my fiancée’s birthday, and my mom’s birthday. The staff didn’t just acknowledge them — they celebrated with us. They surprised my fiancée with a birthday gesture and shared excitement over our engagement, which added a heartfelt touch to our stay and made us feel truly appreciated. The location is ideal. It’s close to the beach, restaurants, mini market, and nearby transportation, and it is right on the strip to St. Lawrence Gap so you walk up. You can hop on a reggae bus (ZR bus), grab a taxi from the corner, arrange one through reception, or even use Uber — getting around Barbados is easy and stress-free from here. If you value kindness, simplicity, and a relaxed atmosphere, this is a great place to stay. We would definitely return. Thank you for helping make our trip so special.

Rooms are large and clean. The cleaning staff is fantastic and very accommodating. Would definitely recommend the location. No need to pay for Sandals or the Hilton the beds are comfortable and there is a kitchenette in the room. There is a convenience store walking 3 mins, a lady with great food on the corner, gentlemen with great bake goods 5 mins away. The bus is 5 mins away to get to the city $3.50 bdos and they run frequently. Dover beach is 2 mins walk and the water is warm and fantastic for a dip. If you appreciate simplicity, cleanliness and ease of access. Then the Meridian Inn should be your barbados destination.

The hotel is located in quiet and peaceful area near to the beach, but within a short walking distance of the bars and restaurants.|The management and staff were helpful and polite.|The hotel is excellent value for money, the housekeeping was over the rating off the hotel|I will definitely be back

Great 2 star accommodation the rooms are basic but you have everything you need Nice super king bed good air con in room WiFi was great , good fridge , cable TV with good sports channels if you wanted to watch Premier league and all other major soccer Excellent location just 3 mins from Maxwell beach 10 mins walk from Dover Beach The reception staff were very helpful and cleaning staff did a super job Nice outdoor lounge area Also a yhey have a room to leave your luggage on checkout day We were struggling to find a decent car to hire , the lady at reception got us sorted Nice bar and food area at Dover Hotel which non residents are welcome All for very reasonable price

Well situated and cheap - the room was ok but you get what you pay for. King beds that are two twin beds slapped together and bring earplugs or you will be woke by the rooster at 6 AM

Fantastic studio apartment, nice and spacious, great aircon. Not luxury but if you're looking for the important stuff done suberbly well, this place is for you.

Just returned home after a two week stay,location brilliant, rooms superb. But be aware building noise next door from early morning until late afternoon, every day. Loud,continuous and annoying. At no point were we made aware of it.

It is a simple self catering hotel, the price was very good -close to some nice beaches -it had an aircon which was appreciated
