Meritel Hanoi

The service was exceptional and the room was very comfortable, clean and spacious. The staff were wonderfully but Katy at reception shinned through with her friend yet very professional and welcoming manner. Showing us all the best attractions. The rooftop bar was also very nice with friendly staff , lovely vide (music) and the restaurant menu was also served there. Will who served us was very helpful. We would definitely recommend Meritel Hanoi. Great hotel, fantastic staff and very good location.

Our stay at Meritel Hanoi Hotel was absolutely exceptional! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality. A special mention must go to Judy at the front desk, nothing was ever too much trouble for her. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, often greeting us with cups of traditional Vietnamese tea whenever we returned from wandering the vibrant shopping streets of Hanoi. My wife had us booked into a King room at the Meritel with a view of the old quarter, and that room is definitely the go when travelling as a couple to enjoy some luxurious space right in the heart of Hanoi! Just Superb! We had continental/ Vietnamese breakfast included with sensational Vietnamese coffee from 6:30 am and if feeling a little decadent sometimes we opted for the amazing Egg coffee. IYKYK. There is a fantastic main restaurant as well as a roof top bar/ dining option offered at the Meritel which we also indulged in. An amazing day spa downstairs is the crème de la crème and offers you 5 star pampering all within your beautiful hotel. Air conditioning and wifi works right throughout the Hotel you’ll be please to know. Judy (always with a smile) also gave us brilliant daily recommendations for nearby restaurants and local shopping & attractions, which made exploring the city effortless and memorable. We especially loved the afternoon Bánh Mì by the Meritel’s roof top pool on the 9th floor, overlooking the beautiful old French Quarter, an experience not to be missed! Hanoi is already an incredible city, but it’s the staff at Meritel Hanoi, like Judy, who truly elevate it. They made us feel more like family than guests. Thanks Judy, we’ll definitely be back and recommend the Meritel to our friends and family!

The Meritel is our new favourite hotel. The location is fantastic for anything in the charming old quarter of Hanoi. The reception spaces and the rooms are stylish without in any way being flashy or bling and the service and cleanliness were immaculate. As devout tea drinkers, the English breakfast tea was an absolute Lifesaver. Rooftop pool was Divine after a day of walking the streets and really we can't say enough good things about this lovely hotel. We enjoyed a street facing room with balcony but the double glazed doors kept out all the noise.

We had a lovely stay at Meritel hotel. It’s in the heart of old quarter, close to all the action. The staff is wonderful and fully supportive; Katy was especially top notch, coming up with curated lists of where to eat and what to see. We loved the room we stayed in with the balcony. Highly recommend booking the balcony! The spa was also fantastic!

He provided us with perfect directions and his personal recommendations for food and sights were spot-on. He was consistently courteous, patient, and genuinely kind in every interaction. It’s clear he takes great pride in his work and in ensuring guests have a great experience. Our positive impression of the Meritel and our fantastic time in Hanoi are largely thanks to him. What really made our stay special was the hospitality — everyone went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The rooms were airy, clean, and felt really welcoming.||A huge thanks to Judy for helping us plan our days — from explaining the area to giving us amazing restaurant suggestions (every single one was spot on!). We also loved the seats she arranged for the water puppet show — perfect view and such a fun experience.||Paul was great too, helping us with our reservations and the Ninh Binh tour. His tour recommendation turned out to be just what we wanted — a small group, great company, and a full day of adventure.||Truly grateful to everyone for making our trip to Ha noi memorable.

We stayed at Meritel Hanoi and it truly felt like home away from home! Staff: Young, energetic, and so charming. Special shoutout to Will for treating us with such care — but honestly, every staff member we interacted with was friendly, respectful, and attentive. Cleanliness: The hotel is spotless in all the major touchpoints — elevators, lobbies, and common areas — and it smells amazing thanks to the essential oils. Everything you touch and use is cleaned everyday. Facilities: The bar is gorgeous and a lovely place to relax. Drinks are very well crafted. The pool is nice and the water is clear, though the edges could be maintained a bit better. The restaurant food is delicious, though of course pricier than street food (as expected). Laundry service was fast, efficient, and came back smelling incredible. Atmosphere: The architecture is stunning, the atmosphere is warm, and it feels welcoming the moment you arrive. We also loved how many tourists stay here — it was so fun meeting people from all over the world. We’re Canadian and during our stay we made friends with travelers from Germany and Australia, which made the experience even more special. Overall: This hotel is charming, vibrant, and comfortable. I can’t recommend Meritel Hanoi enough — we will definitely return!

We have a really happy stay at Meritel Hotel Hanoi recently. All staffs are super friendly and helpful. Specially thanks for Mike! He gave us a warmly welcome and special surprise to my husband’s birthday. He’s also provided a lot of sightseeing and restaurants recommendations to us. We are so glad to choose Meritel and we hope to be there again soon.
