Meritel Hanoi

A huge thank you to Alex at the Meritel Hotel for making our visit to Hanoi so special! His help was instrumental in navigating the city. He provided us with perfect directions and his personal recommendations for food and sights were spot-on. He was consistently courteous, patient, and genuinely kind in every interaction. It’s clear he takes great pride in his work and in ensuring guests have a great experience. Our positive impression of the Meritel and our fantastic time in Hanoi are largely thanks to him. We can't wait to come back!

Great stay to choose Meritel Hotel. It was a hard time deciding but I wanted a hotel with elegant decor and happy I chose this place. The service and warmth they make you feel is astounding, I mentioned it was our anniversary and they went out of the way to have a cake in the fridge and decorate our room. Also gave us a small momento to take home. The staff especially ms Katie was very kind and gave alot of tips on what to see and eat as a local. Everytime we come back after a sweaty day outside - we are relieved to rest in the hotel. Rooms is pristine, extremely clean, spick and span and bedsheets is spotless. Aircon is super clean and glad we chose Meritel. Breakfast is a must and was binging on the delicious salads. My kids and I had a great stay at Meritel and 10 stars!

The staff were very accommodating and helpful. They provided us with premium service and were very flexible in adjusting to all our requests. They even allowed us to have our buffet breakfast on the first day since we were leaving early on the last day. The receptionist on duty on October 5th, from around 5 AM to 6:30 AM, was very kind; (i forgot timo get his name) he even gave us water and a place to rest after our long bus ride from Sapa while waiting for our room to be available. The room was nice and clean. Additionally, a lady on October 6th helped us by recommending good locations to visit in the Old Quarter. the buffet foods are also delicious. I will definitely come back.

Not one to usually write reviews but had to come on and give a 5 star review to the phenomenal staff at Meritel! We had somewhat complicated travel plans that the staff were extremely accommodating about. They even offered for us to use the facilities on the 9th floor after we had already checked out in case we needed to freshen up before our flight. They have been extremely kind and helpful for our stay. In addition the hotel is obviously right in the Old Quarter which is very convenient. The rooms were well insulated from the noise so we slept great. The breakfast buffet was also surprisingly delicious!

We have a great experience staying in this hotel. I have stayed here about 3 times and the staffs are hospitable and they help us with our problems even outside of the hotel. We are thankful for their kindness. Hotel is relaxing and comfortable to sleep. Everyone can understand english and speak english. We are so happy to stay here. If we have the chance to come again in Vietnam. We will still choose to stay here in Meritel Hotel. Safe and more convenient to stay. Best hotel I experienced. Thank you to Katy, Mike and Paul for the warm welcome and hospitality. We will always remember your kindness.

The staff at Meritel Hotel is epitome of our wonderful stay. They were kind, patient, and considerate from the moment we stepped through the door. The roof top pool and the elegant bar was a great addition to our trip. Vesper and Dustin were great hosts at the bar and made delicious drinks. We enjoyed their conversation with them; welcoming and honest. The check out staff even helped us with our bags and assisted us across the street when we were leaving. We will return again and I hope the staff is well compensated for how hard they work for their guests.

This hotel is centrally located in the Old Quarter of Hanoi. It’s close to many great restaurants and attractions such as train street. The staff were attentive and friendly but there was a slight incident upon our arrival where they asked us to stay at another hotel for a reason we could not understand. This issue was resolved quickly though. The amenities are okay and sold better than what they are online. There is much less to the hotel than what is pictured on the website. Nonetheless the hotel is very clean and tidy. The breakfast was okay, there were lots of options. Not everything is fresh or even warm but just pick what you like. We had a room without a window so in hindsight I’d rather pay more for a window. Overall we had a nice experience. Mike was very attentive to our needs and he assisted us with transport to and from Ha Long Bay.

The staff at the Meritel were amazing, always smiling & friendly, and bending over backwards to make our stay perfect. Check-in and check-out was excellent. The hotel is situated near to the old French quarter where there are so many lovely buildings to see. The food in the restaurant was excellent. We highly recommend staying at the Meritel in Hanoi.
