Great location and excellent value. The rooms was nice. No balcony was a let down. Phone didn't work and 9ver 3 days the staff continually "forgot" to attend to the matter, so it still had not been fixed by the time I had left. The bed was super comfy which for me, made up for that. It's hard to go past this place for value for money though.

Recently stayed here 4 nights to facilitate attendance at a nearby conference. My suite, overlooking the nearby Roma Street train station from the 5th floor, was comfortable and well equipped. Ongoing construction work to improve the station didn't bother me. The bed was comfortable and I took advantage of the ability to wash & dry clothes. Reception staff were helpful, and good humoured, at all times. Location is great, besides train access, the Queen Street Mall, and numerous eateries and services are all within easy walking distance. Represented good value for this interstate traveller.

We stayed for 2 nights at the end of a holiday on the Sunshine Coast, having had a great experience at Meriton Sussex in Sydney. The hotel location was very convenient for the Roma St station for both arriving and departing to the airport. The staff were all excellent and we were able to have early access to our room. The room was quiet & comfortable. The only slight negative has been mentioned by other reviews...nowhere to put suitcases. So these ended up in the lounge area. Would definitely stay again.

Our check in process was quick and easy and whilst our room wasn't ready upon check in, we didn't have to wait long. Our room was clean, comfortable and adequate for our overnight stay. The hotel is central to Roma Street station and walking distance to the city centre. The only issue we had was that the shower door did not close properly and the bathroom floor flooded, I'm sure this is something that can be fixed and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this central hotel.

We were in an elevated 2 bedroom apartment and the view was spectacular. Got to love having to pop your ears every time you take the lift. Plenty of food options nearby, far more than google maps shows. Easy walk to the CBD and Roma St transit centre, so very convenient. Nice quite room with generous proportions at what I would consider a very reasonable nightly rate.

Stayed here 3 nights in July. The hotel was fine. It didn't seem to be in the greatest area, but it was close to some places to eat and a small grocery store. We had a 3 bedroom/2 bathroom suite. We were on the 69th floor and the view was fantastic. However, the bedrooms and bathrooms were really small. The primary bathroom was a decent size but the shower was really small compared to the rest of the space. Water pressure was very good. We had to ask the front desk for extra towels (there were 6 of us staying there), and multiple times on different days the guy told us he would bring some up and he never did. The living area as well as all the bedrooms had tvs. So that was nice. Used the parking garage for 1 night. We rented a large passenger van and it was really tight turning in the garage. Thankfully didn't have any major issues. Overall, I would stay here again.

Google
Definitely not deserving of an 5 ⭐ rating.. Room was small for the price, out dated and tied. However it was very clean and stocked with the basic needs for our stay. Pool is ok, but the spa is way too small a long with the sauna, which is a dry sauna errr😮‍💨crouding is a problem at peak times of the day. There isn't a bar, cafe, or restaurant on site, the main entrance is very uninviting from crib side. Highlight of the Hotel, hand's down the staff. Very welcoming, informative, helpful, very pleasant people to be around..Meriton! You have definitely dropped the ball!. Do better upper management..

Above all, the staff’s service was exceptionally kind. (Staff name: Alex) He always thought and responded from the customer’s perspective, and I am truly grateful to him. Thanks to his help, I was able to enjoy a comfortable 3-night stay. The room was fully equipped with kitchen utensils, and it also had a washer and dryer, so I could always wear freshly laundered clothes.

Yelp
'Ello chaps! Meriton Suites is Australia's largest apartment developer. Most of their buildings offer spacious suites and sweeping views of the city they're in. Meriton Suites on Herschel Street great location as it is just a short walk from Queen Street Mall and across the bridge from the 7News Ferris Wheel, Streets Beach, and other attractions. If you're coming from the airport, you'll want to take the Air Train from Brisbane Airport (about a 20 minute ride) and get off at the Roma Street exit. From there it's a very short (less than 10 minute) walk from the train platform to the hotel lobby. Even with luggage is a quick and simple walk. Infinity Tower as its called is also the tallest building in Brisbane, giving sweeping views of the city. The extra few dollars for the top floor is well worth it. There's nothing like a suite on Floor 70. For early check in, staff is very accommodating, providing a space to change clothes and to leave your bags if your room isn't ready. TIP: If you're an American tourist you love your ice, well no worries because they have an ice machine on property. All you have to do is ask for a few bags of ice. The rooms themselves are fantastic, offering spacious living room and kitchenette space as well as spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. The staff is very friendly and the stewards do a great job at cleaning the rooms. Overall I give Meriton five stars out of five.

Yelp
This is a superb place to stay and it is best defined by listing the negatives first. Here are the negatives; the room could use a frying pan or one more additional cooking pot, and a larger garbage can. There you have it. The positives are many and it starts with the staff. The front desk personnel at this hotel are marvelous. I am talking each and every one of them. We were lucky enough to be greeted by Adam which makes sense as it was "the beginning" (get it) of our trip. Adam is flat out one cool knowledgeable major dude! The check in was quick and painless and Adam even offered us the opportunity to save the credit card fee. After that we received a short concise information filled briefing on the areas of the city, ways to get around, the value of the local public transit card, restaurants, the man-made beach, the free ferry system and of course the drinking hole where we could get a Meritone discount. Adam has an endless sense of humor and was a veritable walking Australian Chamber of Commerce. I only regret not having the chance to have a pint with him. Thank you Adam, "you da man!" Let me also send a "shout out" to Jack. I can listen to Jack talk all day long. There is just something about the way he speaks to you that makes you just want to smile. We needed directions to Lone Pine and we received them along with facts about discount transit cards. Later when we needed to get to Hertz, Jack came to the rescue. When you are near the front desk ask Jack a question, just because. When we walked away I looked at "Baby" and we simultaneously said "what a cool guy." The hotel is easy to find by taking the TransLink train from the airport but do not get off at the Central Station like we did, go one train stop further to Roma Street Station and save a twenty minute walk. Buy your ticket on line and save. The hotel is literally across the street from Roma Street Station. The check in process was absolutely seamless. The lobby is clean and airy and the hotel is extremely secure. A swipe of your room key by the elevator bay allows you to access an assigned elevator. The elevators do not even have buttons, it is your room key that provides access. Speaking of elevators, there are many and they are spacious. We never had to wait more than two minutes. Our room was outstanding. We had a side view of the Brisbane River on the fourteenth floor. Spend the extra coin and get as high a floor as possible. The internet was excellent. The queen bed was firm, the closet space was just fine and the room had a desk area that you could partition off with sliding glass doors! We had a nice living room area with a large flat-screen and ample channels, plenty of power outlets, lights and a real clean carpet! The kitchen was fantastic. There is a full refrigerator and freezer, dishes, cutlery, wine glasses, Champaign flutes, knives, coffee and tea. You are provided a four burner stove, microwave, toaster, hot water dispenser and the hotel does not skimp on the tea, coffee and sugar! You also get a nice desk, dishwasher, iron, ironing board, washer, dryer and laundry detergent! The bathroom was nice. The towels were new and fluffy, the toiletries were plentiful and the shower was large enough for two. The location is fantastic. You are minutes away from the center of town and great shopping or one of the many bridges that will take you across the Brisbane River. This is a great place to stay and I will remember our Brisbane experience for a long time to come!

Yelp
We stayed at the Meriton while in Brisbane for our honeymoon. There is really nothing I would change from our stay except maybe pay for a higher room and request a SW facing room. As it stood, our room was plenty high (above almost all the surrounding buildings) and we had a nice south facing room where we could see most of Brisbane. If you're looking for a luxury hotel with all the amenities, the Meriton serviced apartments probably aren't what you're looking for. We wanted a spacious, clean, centrally located, quiet room. Meriton was perfect for that. The rooms were spotless, we had a full kitchen, washer and dryer for laundry (which we definitely used), and parking was always a breeze. Yes, it costs a bit more but it was worth it. The pedestrian bridge to access the South Bank was a block away and we were a short walk from a mall area and the Royal Botanic Gardens. The main train / transit station was nearby too. Really an excellent location. Our room was near the recycling / trash shoot but we never really heard anything. Maybe an occasional voice but overall it was very quiet. The bathrooms were compartmentalized to have a toilet and sink in one room and a shower and sink in a separate room next to it. Really nice design that allows people to get ready while maintaining privacy when needed. One of the sinks was having issues with the drain falling shut. We called down to the front desk to report the issue and they had someone there to fix it within 10 minutes. We then realized that the batteries for the safe were running low so we let the repairman know. He didn't look annoyed that we were mentioning this after he had arrived. Instead he said he didn't have enough batteries of that size with him but would bring some by once he finished. We were on our way out at the time and the batteries were sitting on the kitchen counter when we returned. I highly recommend staying at Meriton if you want a more homey feel while on vacation. We loved having a bedroom separate from a large living room area. The laundry (free, in unit, and included soap) was extremely useful. We were able to cut down on the amount we packed as we knew we could do laundry before leaving Brisbane. 5 stars.

Yelp
I stayed here on a business trip, and will stay here again when in Brisbane. It's very conveniently located near shopping, restaurants, and nightlife entertainment. The hotel itself was nice, and the rooms are very spacious and clean. The rooms even have a washer and dryer in them in case you need to do laundry. The staff was also very friendly. I will be traveling throughout the country for the next year, and noticed that they have other locations in Gold Coast and Sydney. I will definitely stay at the others when passing through based on the experience that I had at this location.

Yelp
Well appointed apartments in one of Brisbane's newest and tallest towers. I highly recommend the view from the 68th floor, especially if you don't have to pay for it yourself. Comfy beds, soft but not too soft. Thermostat air-conditioning; and windows to open for some fresh air.

Yelp
Very new and clean hotel with an inside pool and gym. The rooms are spacious and have a nicely equipped kitchen. The staff are nice. No complaints - cheap as well.

Yelp
I booked this hotel because I was moving to Brisbane yet hadn't yet found a permanent place to live. Subsequently, I stayed at the Meriton for over three weeks. In sum, my stay was disappointing. For one, I was put on the ninth floor, which has provided me with breathtaking views directly into my neighbors apartments. Second, the room was run-down, aesthetically unpleasing, and smelled bad. *(to be noted that my rate ranged from $120-250 nightly). Most importantly, the rates were unpredictable. When I initially booked online, I committed to a specified rate, yet once I moved in, they explained that the rate changed daily based on "demand". This explanation made no sense, because many of the most expensive nights that I paid for were simulated when the hotel was least occupied (bottom line: they reserve the right to charge whatever they want in order to maintain a high profit). On the nights that my rate surged above $200, I could have stayed at the Emporium and had a far nicer experience.
