Check in wasn’t a smooth process as it was when we visited last year even though I had used the same debit card this year as i did for last year, albeit the card not having my full name. Checked in late past midnight into a room that appeared clean but was actually quite dusty, and the stove was not cleaned at all. Not to mention there were stains on the bed sheet but we were honestly already so disappointed with everything.
1st round of housekeeping was top notch and cleaned the stove while 2nd round of housekeeping did not even clear the trash. They also cleared clearly unused towels (still folded and on the table) but left used towels left on a chair behind.
Requested for bath towels to be sent up and waited more than 40 minutes for them and still waiting at the point of writing this review. Called reception to chase and stressed that I’m running late, it’s been more than 15 minutes since the call and still no bath towels even though he said he has informed the associate with a very nonchalent and "business as usual" tone. Last year’s stay was pleasant, complete opposite from this year. We will not be returning.
Edit: Of the 3 bath towels that were sent up, 1 was clearly stained. The reason we had to request for bath towels was because the new set of bath towels provided by housekeeping were all stained.
The service and upkeep this year left much to be desired and paled in comparison to our experience last year.
