Great location & friendly and helpful staff. Beds are comfy and very clean, toilet and shower are also good. No AC which can make it hot in the room at times, but this is specified in the room’s description. Some things in the room look a bit old and could do with fixing, but overall I had a good stay.

Great Friendly staff. I mean everyone from reception to housekeeping to restaurant. Polite, considerate, extremely helpful. Great location. Awesome views (we were put up on 4th floor road facing). Access to 5th floor restaurant at anytime. Grab a bottle of wine and just sit around. No questions. No disturbance. Nice clean rooms. Taking away 1* because of size of bathroom and lack of shelves to keep your tioletteries AND lack of hooks to even hand the hand towel. The bathing area was small. Really small.

Excellent location! Just cross the road to the Interlaken West station. (West and East stations are just a few minutes train apart). Elevator available. Fair selection of breakfast on the top floor with a lovely view! Staff are very friendly and nice.Room is very tidy and neat. Ceiling fan and table top fan available! Enjoyed my stay a lot.

The hotel is located right at the Interlaken west station which is Excellent. The receptionist was very accommodating and helpful. The breakfast buffet is superb, specially the crispy bacon and prosecco. 😍 The room was very clean and comfortable . The hotel has a very safe and friendly neighborhood. We will definitely coming back to Merkur Hotel

I don’t know why this Hotel has so less rating. We went on honeymoon and stayed here. I can’t thank Hotel enough for taking care of our stay, providing us early check in when possible and BEST BREAKFAST Buffet including some options for vegetarians as well. Staff is so welcoming & kind that they care about each & every guest like their own family member. I don’t know if it’s 3-star or 4-star but service & quality of people are top notch. Location is CHERRY ON CAKE. Hardly 50 steps from Interlaken west station. Surroundings are safe & quite accessible with multiple hotels. Highly recommended.

Everything was perfect, the owner is very friendly and nice as well as the staff. The hotel has both views on the jungfrau and the other mountains with beautiful terrasse at the top and the breakfast was perfect. The hotel is really well located in the city. The room is also really nice, nice bathroom, tv, and in case it’s too hot there is a moving fan on the seeking that makes no noise. I would totally recommend this hotel !!! The owner is the best !

The hotel is located right at the Interlaken west station which is excellent. The receptionist was very helpful and accommodating, specially Maddy 😍|The room was very clean, big shout out to housekeeping! and the view is just breathtaking.We felt really safe staying at merkur hotel|Also the hotel is so close to restaurants and local shops.|Will definitely be coming back. 😍

The location of the hotel was very convenient. The bus stop and train station were right in front of the hotel. The hotel was very clean. Our room had a spectacular view to the mountains. Breakfast was very good too. Receptionists were kind and helpful.
