Merlindale B&B

Merlindale is an exceptional B&B, the decor and level of comfort is outstanding and worthy of any five star hotel! I visited with a friend for a girlie night away and we were both overwhelmed by the warm friendly welcome we received from our charming hosts, Amanda and Geoff. Our rooms were beautifully appointed with lots of homely touches and delicious treats. Everything was spotlessly clean, the beds were uber comfy, the towels were soft and fluffy and there were quality toiletries in the stunning bathrooms. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order by Geoff and offered plenty of choice including homemade yoghurt and granola. Everything was delicious and we loved the quirky hand knitted tea-cosy 🥰. |Thank you for allowing us to share your beautiful home, we look forward to visiting again soon

A great stay and what a stunning property this is, in Crieff. Merlindale has been empathetically restored and finished to a very high standard. It's thoughtful, contemporary and rich in art and detail. A warm friendly welcome awaits you by new owners and hosts Geoff & Amanda. My room (Thistle) located on the 1st floor was fabulous. High ceilings, original sash windows, wooden shutters, huge bed with luxury linens. There's a great TV, amenities and decent WiFi. My huge and elegant private showroom was located across the hall. The towels were soft and there were so many lovely touches. Breakfast was included in my rate and all ingredients were perfectly cooked and delightfully served in the perfectly proportioned dining room on the ground floor. There's a car parking space for every guest and my only regret, I wish I'd had more time to relax and enjoy the comfort of Merlindale as well as the local Perthshire countryside. Will definitely return and share this gem with our Selkie clients.

A friend and I were staying for one night to attend a wedding and had a very comfortable and welcoming experience. ||The new owners (I'm so sorry, I've forgotten your names!), were warm and friendly from the minute we entered. We got a little tour and made sure we had everything we needed to settle in. The rooms were spotless, very comfortable, and nicely decorated. Very much appreciated the tea, coffee, and biscuits available in the room after the long drive. Breakfast was delicious and good options for cereals/cooked breakfast. ||Thanks for a lovely stay, and good luck with your new venture - will be recommending!

We were pleasantly surprised by the personalized service from booking to checking out.|Our hosts and owners Paul and Helen were extremely attentive to all our needs. We were warmly received upon arrival and escorted to our rooms. We were in the Bramble and Bluebell suites which were very spacious and comfortable.|So many tiny and meaningful details made us feel specially welcome.|Breakfast, a whole other chapter and was finely served according to our different choices. Absolutely outstanding hospitality from Helen and Paul. Welcomed warmly, and genuinely by Helen and shown to our beautifully appointed rooms. Full tour with explanation of the features. Great nights sleep followed by a wonderful breakfast. Sustainably prepared food choices were plentiful and great chat from Paul to accompany. Best B&B we’ve ever stayed. Superior max. We had the most amazing time. Geoff and Amanda are the perfect hosts nothing is too much trouble. Merlindale is enchanting.We cannot recommend this enough and would definitely come back.

We stayed here for two nights the hosts were very kind and friendly and made us feel most welcome. Our room was beautiful and spotlessly clean and tidy. There was some lovely little touches like homemade short bread and some whisky left in a decanter . The breakfast was delicious and all ingredients were fresh will definitely stay here agin .

I am a 76 yr old biker who has spent his working life in the offshore oilfield business and have travelled the world. I can honestly say that this is the best B&B I have ever stayed in. The rooms were spotless and fully equipped and beds made and room cleaned each day while we out. The breakfast’s were a gourmet’s delight and nothing was too much trouble for our hosts Paul and Helen.|7 motorcycles were garaged undercover and when a minor problem occurred with one of the bikes Paul went the extra mile and assisted with some necessary tools.|The B&B is located within a 5-10min walk from the centre of Crieff where we found excellent restaurants and dined on each of 5 nights partaking in a different cuisines each evening. |A measure of how good our stay was is the fact that some of our team expressed an intention to come back for another visit with their wives and partners.|All in all a great time was had by all made perfect by the stay at Merlindale B&B.
