Merlindale B&B

A friend and I were staying for one night to attend a wedding and had a very comfortable and welcoming experience. ||The new owners (I'm so sorry, I've forgotten your names!), were warm and friendly from the minute we entered. We got a little tour and made sure we had everything we needed to settle in. The rooms were spotless, very comfortable, and nicely decorated. Very much appreciated the tea, coffee, and biscuits available in the room after the long drive. Breakfast was delicious and good options for cereals/cooked breakfast. ||Thanks for a lovely stay, and good luck with your new venture - will be recommending!

Absolutely outstanding hospitality from Helen and Paul. Welcomed warmly, and genuinely by Helen and shown to our beautifully appointed rooms. Full tour with explanation of the features. Great nights sleep followed by a wonderful breakfast. Sustainably prepared food choices were plentiful and great chat from Paul to accompany. Best B&B we’ve ever stayed. Superior max. From Helen’s warm welcome when we arrived till we left after a delicious breakfast in the morning our stay at Merlindale was fantastic. The attention to detail is fastidious and there are many delightful individual touches not found elsewhere… the delicious home-made shortbread, the home-made marmalade, the home-made muesli. The bed was super comfy and we had everything we were looking for. I would definitely recommend this very classy B&B.

Fabulous immaculate accommodation. The best guest house we have ever stayed in. Everything about the property was first class, beautiful comfortable bedroom and bathroom. The decanter of whiskey and homemade shortbread in the bedroom were nice touches. The breakfast choice and quality was excellent . Paul and Helen were great hosts. Everything about this guest house is 5 star

We were pleasantly surprised by the personalized service from booking to checking out.|Our hosts and owners Paul and Helen were extremely attentive to all our needs. We were warmly received upon arrival and escorted to our rooms. We were in the Bramble and Bluebell suites which were very spacious and comfortable.|So many tiny and meaningful details made us feel specially welcome.|Breakfast, a whole other chapter and was finely served according to our different choices. Stayed there last weekend and it really was super nice. The whole building is classy and just a bit quirky, the room was pleasant, clean, and comfortable, and breakfast was cracking and felt unhurried. Paul and Helen couldn't have been nicer - they even found and leant us a Garmin charger as we'd left ours at home.

A superb B&B, Paul and Helen are the perfect hosts. The rooms, fixtures, bedding, the lot are top notch. The breakfasts are served with pride and for good reason - great food and such attention to detail - nothing is wanting here. Can't rate our stay at the Merlindale highly enough, we had a great 5 nights. The proprietor Paul and his wife could not have made us feel more welcome. The breakfast was superb and it's within easy walking of everything Crieff has to offer.
