Meros B&B Khiva

Ziyovaddin and Madina provided a warm and welcoming service. It was a lovely start to our stay in Uzbekistan. |Proof of registration was provided. |Breakfast was delicious and varied each morning. We were given breakfast in a box when we had to leave at 6am on the morning of our trip to the Aral Sea.|We organised this trip through Ziyovaddin in the B&B and proof of registration for this was provided also. After much research, booking the tour through him proved to be the best price and included all the sights that we had seen listed with all other tour companies. The drivers, Bahrom and Asad were lovely - warm and friendly. They had little English, we communicated through an app when necessary. The boys at the yurt camp where we stayed by the Aral Sea were so polite and friendly also. |We were given late check out at the B&B on the day we were leaving as there wasn't anyone booked into our room - a really nice gesture. |The location of Meros is excellent - inside the city walls. It is minutes walk from the popular Terasse Café and all the beautiful sights of Ichon-Qala.

I spent five amazing days at Meros. Jaloladdin and his family are super kind, welcoming, nice and professional. They will make you feel home during your stay. They can also help you to arrange any tours you're interested in and they can recommend you things to do and where to eat (inside and outside the walled city). The structure is beautiful and authentic. It's one of the oldest B&B in town and you will feel the history of Khiva. It also has a beautiful terrace with a great view. Location is perfect, in a quiet street just a minute walking distance from the main attractions. You'll be impressed by the breakfast every morning, delicious, freshly prepared and plentiful. I'd strongly recommend to stay here if you're visiting Khiva! Only minor downside is the WiFi which doesn’t work great in the bedrooms (but it works well in the common area) otherwise everything else was just perfect

Lovely guest house located within the walls of Khiva. Really handy for exploring the old city and the guest house is cosy and friendly with a nice breakfast. I had a private balcony too! Great to be able to return to the hotel for breaks from the heat.

Ichan Kara, the medieval town surrounded by the high wall like the anime “Attack on Titan”. Here is the good B&B with English fluent staff, nice breakfast & watermelon.

I had a lovely stay at Meros together with two girlfriends. Staying inside the city walls of Khiva was one of our favorite experiences in Uzbekistan, and everyone at Meros went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay. They gave us directions, made phone calls for us to sort out logistics, answered our endless questions, and served us an amazing breakfast. I highly recommend choosing Meros for your visit to Khiva!

The owners are friendliest people I've ever met. The room was stunning, the breakfast huge and delicious. Very central location. 3 nights wasn't enough, I should of stayed a month 🥰

Meros is a lovely place to stay in Khiva. The rooms are clean and simple and ours had a beautiful painted ceiling. The location is perfect- right in the heart of the old center but peaceful and quiet. The family running the B&B is incredibly friendly and helpful. We organized dinner at sunset with them both nights on their rooftop. The food was delicious and the views were lovely.

Hard to understand why you still haven't book your stay at Meros ! An amazing location to enjoy the whole potential of the old city, not even mentioning the roof-top (where they can organize dinner on demand I've heard)! Rooms or very well decorated, and ceilings painted by the family itself in a beautiful traditional fashion. The owners are the nicest people and can even arrange tours of forteresses in the desert. Highly recommend it !
