Loved my room, Staff was okay as long as you were tipping. Seemed the staff were always first before myself. No problem but there was a lot of them. This is my 8th timing staying and highly disappointed. Food was blah... I get the price of everything has gone up! Just breathed and didn't enjoy it. I will be looking for a new place to stay :(

We visited Merrill’s in February 2025, this resort is small, they have done some renovations since our last visit. Rooms are basic but we only sleep in our rooms. Nice balcony overlooking the resort. Food was good with updates to the menu. All staff members are fantastic, from seeing Diego’s smiling face every morning greeting you. The staff at the front office great service always. The bar staff Marlin is the best. Barbara and Charlie in the dining room always on top of things. Miss twins, ( my name for her) , fabulous lady, Narda ? Fabulous service at the bar. The young gentlemen and young lady at the egg station where amazing and friendly. And I have to mention our housekeeper Natasha always has a smile on her face and our room was cleaned daily. And Veronica who we meet 4 years ago always happy to see us when we return. This trip to Merrill’s was absolutely the best one yet. Already booked for next year 🇯🇲

Fab place! Recommend it for sure! Food is good, rooms cannot be faulted, bar staff always friendly and up for a chat. Weather and views are something else! Entertainment team amazing! MJ is a star, nothing is too much and always positive! Come back soon.

We recently stayed at Merril’s and while there were many wonderful aspects of our trip, there were also some significant disappointments. First, the positives—this resort is located on one of the most stunning beaches we’ve ever seen. The water is crystal clear, the sand is soft, and the sunsets are breathtaking. The food was also very good, and the staff (outside of management) were friendly and welcoming, making an effort to ensure guests had a great experience. Unfortunately, our experience with management and our upgraded room left much to be desired. We paid for an upgrade, expecting a better experience, but instead, we had no WiFi and had to endure extremely loud noise until 2 AM the first night and 4 AM the second. We also requested multiple room fixes that were never addressed. Each time we inquired about speaking with the manager, we were given the runaround—told he would be there at 10 AM, then asked to return later multiple times, and we finally spoke with him hours later. He then offered to change our room to a smaller room as the only option even though we paid a lot of money for the upgrade. On our last night, we moved to a different room, which was a slight improvement, but outside noise was still an issue. If you are considering staying here, I’d highly recommend requesting a room closer to the ocean and away from the street. Additionally, while the beach is beautiful, be prepared for a fair amount of solicitors. Overall, this resort has a lot of potential, but management needs to improve. If you choose the right room and go in with the right expectations, you may still have a great time

Perfect place to relax! Beautiful beach access directly from resort. Landscaping was kept up perfectly making the interior of the complex so inviting. Staff were so nice and helpful. Music by the pool fit Jamaica perfectly. Definitely going back.

My second visit to this wonderful resort. I really appreciate the local flavor at Merrils. The atmosphere is great. There are quite a few return visitors from all over. Yes, the water pressure and hot water can be an issue, at times. The food, especially the soups, are delicious. This was our 2nd time at Merrill’s, we had a great time. Rooms were good, food was good, staff was great. I do wish they wore name tags so we would know who they were. Not a huge beach, but plenty of shade if that’s what you want. Food did get a little repetitious, but we were there 3 weeks. This is not a large fancy all inclusive, but it meets our needs.|The only complaint we have, and this is not Merrill’s fault, is Kenny’s Italian Restaurant across the street. At least one night a week they have some kind of party with extremely loud music until 3 or 4 in the morning. Our room just about shook with the boom boom boom.

Best vacay and exceptional value for a smaller all inclusive resort. The staff were the highlight of the resort and made our stay special. Charlie took care of us and made sure we had anything we needed. He greeted us everyday with a high smile. The front desk staff Ms Leonie made our checkin smooth and Ms Krystal with the cleaning staff kept our rooms clean and tidy. Chef Lorenzo prepared us a special grilled lobster meal on our last night….yumm!!! He is the best. The daily meals were very tasty and delicious. Of course the liquor was bottom shelf but we made it work, and easy to purchase any drink preferences at the Hi-Lo grocery store near by. Tip: buy your liquor duty-free at the airport upon arrival…it’s MUCH cheaper. We can’t wait to go back!! LOVVEE this hidden gem. Thank you Merrils 2!!
