The experience as a whole was great, beautiful surroundings and location, very friendly and attentive staff who also put up great entertainment in the evening around the fire. Good food, nice tents (just freezing cold but that was expected).
!!BUT!!......
After the first night and socializing with some other guests we very soon found out that unlike most of the others we had paid a €60 per person town to camp transfer fee on top of our room and half board price. Our total costs for our reservation amounted to more than double of some others. We had booked through the same application and on the same dates, we were informed of the transfer fees via text message after booking our stay. We then also were asked to cancel our booking via the app so that we could receive a "discount" (commision fee).
I understand there can be slight differences in prices depending on time of booking and which application or way of booking a stay was used, but when we are talking about differences of more than €100 per 2 person booking for the same amount of nights, I would say that's a rather unfair way of going about things. And we honestly feel like we have been ripped off, after finding out we brought up the issue and suggested to receive one of the activities added to our booking cost-free we could straighten it out and leave it be. But we were then offered a minor discount of €5,- on a €75,- activity.
So all in all nice camp, good staff, just very poor management and no regard for a fair distribution of prices and fees towards guests.
