I think this restaurant doesn’t need customers. Because how do you explain the attitude of stuff? We felt unwelcomed from the beginning despite the fact that we looked nice and was in the mood to spend money on good dinner. Hostess was completely uninterested, waitress talked to us in condescending tone. Food was pricey but absolutely forgettable. Not worth it at all :( Later came a lot of elderly groups and stuff treated them much nicer. So this place are definitely not for tourists or outsiders. Seems like They already have their demographic and can treat others like second class. I am just sad that we came to this place to enjoy and discover Portuguese cuisine for the first time. Disappointing at best. If you also are tourists, don’t waste time and money, choose any other simpler place, any cafe in this neighbourhood. Trust me, you are better off.

Perfect meal and incredible service, everything we tried was excellent quality and balance of flavors. We enjoyed it so much that we plan to return as we pass through Lisbon again because it was so impressive... Do yourself a favor and order the grilled octopus, see if you can get the clam rice with it or order it separately because it will make your life wholly better 🙂‍↕️

A cosy little hidden gem on the first floor of a wine shop in a dead end road behind Caixa Geral Depositos HQ, with informal service, a classic menu and an exceptionally extensive and well Priced wine card. We had entrees, pastéis with rice, a delicious ox tail, an exceptional Beira red Wine for half of the normal shop price and apple crumples for dessert for €40/pax.

Went for lunch without booking, and as they were very busy we had to wait. No problem, we just went for a 20 minute walk. Then the food, wine and service more than made up for the wait. Highly recommended.

I tried traditional Portuguese food and was more than delicious!! If you are in Lisbon you should try it, it’s not pricey, nice decorated and downstairs its a wine shop. I had sea bass ceviche and sea bass fish for the main with tuna . It was more than delicious

High quality traditional Portuguese cuisine. Try one of the recommended wines and you won't regret it. If the weather allows, ask for a table on the rooftop. The deconstructed custard tart is a great innovative take on the traditional "Pastel de Nata"

Last Tuesday it was raining 'cats & dogs'. We were outside 45 min before the Restaurante opening at 7:30 pm. We were 2 and I knocked at the window and asked if we could wait inside in the lobby as we were soaking. The waitress said he had to call the manager. The manager took a solid 5 min to come down, approached the front window, did not say a word, or looked us in the eyes and pulled the shades down cutting us out or away from her sight. I will never come back and try to have a meal at this place. Had them let us in in such horrible day, we would regardless of the experience at the table, gladly come back. LISBON is BECOMING VERY FRENCH in the way people TREAT paying and friendly customers. Maybe this will be the beginning off the end of the proverbial Portuguese nice mannered reputation.

Very nice restaurant in Lisbon city center, near by Campo Pequeno. The menu is very good with very good tasty food. However, the prices are a little bit high for what you get (20€ per person). The ambiance is cosy/modern and the service is ok.

Yelp
Amazing food, some of the best flavors and service we've ever had with reasonable prices for such a thoroughly perfect experience... Short walk from the nearby hotel we stayed at and we plan to eat here again as we pass back through before our flight home. Try the grilled octopus and clam rice, you will want it daily thereafter. Steak was tender and perfectly seasoned, piglet delicious, John Dory fillets excellent, broiled goat cheese dreamy... HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
