"Mr Mesero, Park Cities. Mr Mesero is the first reboot concept by Mico Rodriguez, author of the (very successful) M Crowd / Mi Cocina franchise. While the execution is familiar, it's different for all the right reasons. Mr Mesero has great service and is a fresh, young, fun experience with darn good eats. Mr Mesero's small space preserves a cozy energy for a crowd that is less Park Cities family and more Uptown fringe. Go there. Lock in your margarita order and then enjoy anything on the tex mex + american standards hybrid menu."

Inventive dishes well executed. Not your standard "Tex-Mex". A bit pricey & a reservation would have been better, but we did enjoy our theatre seating observing the kitchen. The complementary salsas were very good, especially the cucumber avocado. The queso & the chicken in molé sauce were exceptional. Even the sides, rice & beans, were delicious! Will go again!!!

Marcos is absolutely amazing!! His customer service is the reason I came back to this location compared to the one closer to my home. He made great recommendations and he said everything at this restaurant was great!! He is truly a gem

Delicious! Drinks were fabulous and the food flavorful. We sat outside and our server was terrific. We had a very enjoyable late lunch. I will return next time I’m in Dallas!

Food tasted just awesome. Staff were polite. We took time to understand the menu but the staff were quick to help us out. Ambience is cool. Give a visit.

The place is really good. Solid Mexican food even though my go-to spot is Mi Cocina. Unfortunately for Mico, Mesero offers pickup via door dash. The enchiladas and fajitas are delicious. They have great salsas, the orange one being the best. Churros are fire as well. I will be back!

We ate here on a Friday night and when we went in we were asked if we had a reservation. We did not and the hostess said she would try to fit us in and we were seated within minutes. I loved the atmosphere, very classy dining area with an open kitchen where you could watch the chefs move and work in a calm but busy system. I ate the Cremaqueso enchilada, tejano enchilada and rice and it tasted so good. I also had a dragonfruit drink but I don't remember the name but it was good too. For desert, the 3 of us split the Tres Leches cake and it was delish! I'm sure I will eat here again if there is one nearby.

We’ve been here a few times now and they always blow us away! This time, we had the flautitas as appetizers and they were so good! They had a very generous portion of guacamole and everything was delicious. We finished with the cinco leches cake, which was so sweet and creamy. All of their drinks have been a hit, I haven’t had a single bad thing here. Their waitstaff is also very attentive and they make sure that you are having a great experience.

Google
Our waitress was super attentive and quick with pulling plates, refills and checking up on us. The food was pretty okay. However, the star of the show was the cinco leches cake it was so moist, spongy and well balanced.

Yelp
Everything was great about the food, nothing is overly expensive. Service was so good here today, the restaurant wasn't too crowded and the staff was very friendly and nice. The place is very nicely decorated with lots of space for larger groups. I would recommend going

Nicole G.

Yelp
I love the drinks here. They are always full of flavor! The chips and salsa are great. I don't remember what I've had but it's always been good. The nachos are a good appetizer. Service seems to always be good. This is a cute location off of Walnut Hill and 75.

Yelp
I came here last Friday evening for dinner and the place was packed. I managed to get a seat at the counter looking into the kitchen. I was promptly greeted and checked on by several of the staff, even though the kitchen was crazy busy! I was given the complimentary chips and salsa assortment. The salsa and pico were soooooooo good! I couldn't stop eating it! I ordered strawberry frozen margarita and the El Miguelito entree. Everything was delicious, although the presentation of my entree was sloppy and was tipping to one side of the plate. I was pleasantly surprised by the affordability of the menu, however beware the prices do add up as you order more drinks of course. The food was really good and I left stuffed. The ambiance of the restaurant is really cute and trendy. It makes for a nice date spot or setting for a small gathering of friends and family. This was my first time at any Mesero location and it certainly won't be the last!

Amanda G.

Yelp
First time here and I was pleasantly surprised! I didn't know what to expect when we walked in I just wanted some good food and that's exactly what I got! The atmosphere was clean and the hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The prices are great! For three people our total was under $70. I tried the fajitas and they were great! The chips and salsa were so good, and so fresh, they weren't greasy at all. Definitely would come back!

John W.

Yelp
While traveling through Dallas on business my colleague recommended I try this establishment. I really enjoyed the atmosphere; it is a chic Mexican scenario with a contemporary vibe. The hostess and waiters were very friendly and accommodating, and the speed from the placement of the order to its delivery to the table was very fast. All the ingredients were fresh and well prepared. The tacos are excellent, and the seared tuna is fabulous as well. They offer unique complimentary chips will various salsa, queso, and guacamole. I cannot say enough about this restaurant, so good! Definitely try it out if in the area!

John B.

Yelp
Excellent food and service. Three of us had the Chile Relleno and agreed that it is the best anywhere. Their Hollywood Cobb salad with jalapeño ranch dressing is not only beautiful but delicious. Don't miss their Pollo Y Tomatillo soup it's different, including slaw, but delicious too. All four of us had a wonderful meal and we will definitely return. Yum.

Sarah S.

Yelp
Great spot for fantastic Mexican and drinks! I love the vibe and haven't been disappointed yet!

Jojo L.

Yelp
I have never been here until 6/28/24 after my friend and her colleague insisted on coming here for dinner. The atmosphere was very lively. The strong cocktails explained that lol. The service was fine - no complaints. It was a busy Friday night but the staff handled the commotion just fine. Wasn't the speediest experience but our party wasn't in a rush to finish dinner. I had two drinks, the frozen rosé and the blackberry pineapple (?), which was kinda yucky. The frozen rosé was a buzz in a glass lol. The food was okay overall. The queso was tasty but super salty. That green salsa, however, oh man. It HIT all the right notes with my tastebuds. For my entree I chose the La China (fried rice). I'm glad I ate it because I needed to help soak up the booze. It was kind of bland but very filling. It added some of that green salsa and guacamole to doctor it up. For $17ish bucks I was apprehensive but it was actually a large serving. I will probably come back to try another entree and drink(s).

Yelp
Amazing customer service, authentic food, luxury dining experience! Great menu and selection as well. Very upscale.

Aaron X.

Yelp
The ambience was great, and I received excellent service--although there was a drink mix-up, the servers were quick and professional. However, absolutely none of my food (chips and salsa, beans, enchiladas, ground beef taco) was better than mediocre, and it was certainly not worth the price. The standard for Tex-Mex in Texas is miles above the food served here; I would not return.

Adrian E.

Yelp
One of my favorite restaurants. Absolutely everything is delicious. Just went there few nights ago, atmosphere was very good. The service was great as well. Berenice stopped by to check on us and the rest of the tables, very attentive!

Melanie M.

Yelp
The enchiladas were very good AND the pancake which is served Saturday and Sunday before 3 pm. Our waitress Andrea was sooo amazing and funny!!!

Maddi B.

Yelp
This place is awesome! Came for a birthday party on a Saturday night with a large group and a reservation. Like previous reviews mentioned, the music is loud so you have to talk pretty loud, and there was a decent wait for the food. That said, the food and drinks are so good, I didn't even care! Our server was incredibly attentive and got everyone's order perfectly. He was on top of the refills and getting us more drinks. The drink I had, the Brandon, had original margarita, strawberry-mango purée, and sangria. SO. GOOD!! The salmon tacos were delicious, had great flavor and were nice and hot. You also get a little individual cup of chips here along with three sauces to dip them in, and the chips had a really nice flavor to them. Definitely want to come back soon for a date night or another party!

Jess M.

Yelp
We came here for a quick business meeting lunch. I would say that the food is okay. I got Enchiladas Rojas and, being from San Antonio, I was disappointed but not surprised. Dallas just doesn't have great Tex-Mex or Mexican food. I've just accepted it at this point. The queso is good, but nothing to sneeze at. I would probably have been mad about the prices if I had been the one paying.

Christina S.

Yelp
We love mesero! It's always our go to if we feel like Mexican food. The food is very tasty and we tend to have leftovers by the end of the night. We started the meal with chips and guacamole and a cocktail. We both ordered an entree: ahi tuna and chicken enchiladas. We ended the night with two desserts, churros and tres leches, and that was the best part! We love the atmosphere there. It's usually pretty busy indoors, so we sat on the patio. However, our service was slow and we had to wait awhile to ask for what we needed each time.

Josh K.

Yelp
The braised pork is delicious! I have never been disappointed with any food choice I've went with here.

Brad B.

Yelp
Years ago when Meseri opened at Lovers and Jnwiod they food quality was solid. The food quality is marginal ast best now. Taco meat tasted like something from the old buffet style Panchos discount restaurant. sent it back. Asked for asada taco's zero flavor in the beef again. Never going back. Super load acoustics by the way. Totally surprised people are willing to give Mesero there hard earned dollars. I bet I have eaten at various Meseros 20-30 over the years. This was last ever visit.

Paul A.

Yelp
Stayed at Preston Hollow for a month and had the pleasure of finding Meaero. The food was excellent, the food was delicious and the service was awesome! We rarely eat at the same place twice in a week and actually wound up eating here three times. Good start of a date place but also quite nice for business lunches. The staff is very attentive and looks after all the details of your dining experience.

MS M.

Yelp
Excellent. Went with friends. Food was good. I had the Brisket Tacos. I also ordered the cheddar Queso. Both good. They are cheap on the rice & beans. Ask for more (that needs to change). Drinks were good. Service okay but the food delivery was spot on good! Everyone else's food was good & plates were empty!

Trammell K.

Yelp
Good Lawd! Mesero has a place in my ! The food was amazing!!!!! The service-superb!!!! And the ambiance was everything!!!

Deme J.

Yelp
This place has some of the best ceviches I've ever had. It's so fresh and chunky, and I love that it has tiger shrimp. This appetizer is a must for the table every single time. The drinks are phenomenal and strong! My favorite were the El Santo which is the traditional frozen margarita with house-made sangria, the Watermelon Basil, and the Cesar Chavez (rum punch). The queso was okay, kind of lacking in flavor and spice. Now the tacos were good, especially the blackened salmon! The beans were delicious too, but the rice was plain, just plain ole white rice. I also tried the Redfish En La Media Concha, which comes with cherry tomato, roasted corn, mushroom, poblano pepper, and potato with a roasted red pepper sauce. I genuinely enjoyed this dish, and the flavors complimented each other beautifully! I would def order this again.

Stephanie R.

Yelp
Thank you Eduardo for the amazing hospitality! food was so amazing! i recommend trying their loaded jalapeños!! Eduardo recommended me to try their cremaqueso enchiladas let me tell you "chefs kiss"!!! if you stop by please ask for Eduardo! i promise he will not disappoint! the atmosphere in this place is so wonderful!! i can't wait to come back soon!!!

Dustin U.

Yelp
This place was amazing! I had all appetizers as my meal, but they were all 5 stars. I had queso tejano, which was thick and creamy. The loaded jalapenos were delicious! They cut each pepper into thirds, which was an excellent idea for sharing. I also had the shrimp stuffed jalapenos, which were the best. Large shrimp stuffed in a jalapeno wrapped in bacon with the tail sticking out to make for great finger food!

Ivy H.

Yelp
Nick and Alexis were amazing, I've been here 4 nights in a row as working in town and feel taken care of , easy in and out with fantastic service and the food and drinks are awesome! Enjoy!!

Unique G.

Yelp
This was my second time eating brunch at Mesero but my first time eating it at this location which is located in a cute shopping center off of the highway. Both times the staff have been polite and very helpful with menu options. The queso Blanco was a little thick for my liking but was very delicious. The mimosa flights were a nice size and well mixed with a good amount of champagne. I ordered the French toast that where thick and fluffy. They also came with a thin slice of an apple which was a very interesting taste that I enjoyed. The venue has a nice set up with plenty of seating on the inside and also has an outdoor/ patio area but sadly it was too cold for us to sit outside but I definitely plan to go back once it starts up warm up!

Liz C.

Yelp
I had the enchilada and taco plate. The food looked better than it tasted (or lack of). The so-called frijoles charros were bland and lacked ingredients of the real ones. The green rice was also very bland. The mole sauce enchilada was decent, or I was just very hungry! The chips and salsa verde were about the best thing out of this place. I've had way better food than this! Meso Maya all of a sudden doesn't seem like a bad option. Mesero isn't even Tex-Mex

Terri B.

Yelp
Mesero, oh how I love you, let me count the ways. I have been to the location of Beltline in Addison multiple times and absolutely love it; I tried the location off Walnut Hill and Preston hollow today and was not disappointed. The decor and styling of the restaurant is fresh and clean, uncluttered and impactful. There is a whole moment going on with the lobby ceiling with a stone type texture combined with three drum chandeliers. So good. The bar is clean and sleek and has pops of color in the alcoves and LED ambient lighting. There is an accent wall with some really fabulous texture as a great focal point at the end of the restaurant and a painting that's to die for at the juncture of the stairs. My little interior designer heart was just singing with all the details of this location. Well done! We ordered queso and guacamole as an appetizer and devoured it along with the chips and salsa that they serve. Really delicious. I ordered a Mesero mimosa and my friend ordered a margarita, our only complaints is that they went too quickly! My friend had the chicken enchiladas served with beans and I had the salmon that was served with a really delicious vegetable medley that had corn, Bell peppers, mushrooms and white rice. The salmon was perfectly cooked and had a crispy exterior and a sauce that had a beautiful flavor. It was absolutely delicious. I absolutely love Mesero. My only point of constructive criticism is that there needed to be some type of coverings on the patio such as umbrellas or sun shades. It got really blazingly bright out there. Also, they could do with a little bit of sprucing up since this time of year all the plants are hibernating. Totally a 5 star experience.

Brandy H.

Yelp
Service was very good. The food was not the best, very different than expected. Almost like an upscale Mexican restaurant. Not really our style and the fajitas were not served traditionally on a hot skillet was more like a chicken breast.

MaDonna W.

Yelp
If you are into really delicious semi-fancy Tex-Mex... this is the place to go! Not your average chips and salsa, oh no... They serve you individual chips and three different types of dipping yummies! The steak and salmon tacos with the slaw are delicious! We were lucky in Dallas to have great weather, sat outside with an amazing breeze... Great lighting to!

Stephen W.

Yelp
We actually had intended to go to a different restaurant in this shopping village but when they could not offer us a table we headed out and saw Mesero. We had been to the Mesero on McKinney several years ago but were not that impressed so we never went back, but this night we were in the mood for margaritas and thus we decided to give this location a try. We are glad that we did. The ambience is modern upscale without being pretentious. I liked the lay out and everything is very clean. Tables are nicely spaced so you can have a conversation without hearing your neighbor. We were seated promptly and the service throughout was top-notch. I ordered the original frozen ($11) and it was so good that I had another! The waiter recommended the La Dona margarita (on the rocks, with fresh lime) for the wife and she loved it ($14). So she had another too! They offer complimentary salsas and chips, they were all outstanding and the chips were perfectly crispy without a hint of grease. For entrees, I ordered the Mateo, which is chicken stew in tomatillo sauce. It was excellent, not at all spicy but still very flavorful. It was all white meat and I think it would be better with dark, but I am not sorry that I ordered it. A few pieces were overcooked but overall I really enjoyed it. A nice authentic dish and a break from Tex-Mex (which we eat way too often). The wife got the Uno, which is a combo of one taco (she had steak) and one chicken enchilada with mole sauce. The mole was superb, a bit on the sweet side and not spicy at all, but very flavorful. You can really taste the cinnamon. The steak in the taco was very tender and flavorful but was not salted at all, and that would have been better. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. I like that there are authentic options on the menu and not just the usual Tex-Mex. We will definitely return and I can't wait.

Lydia S.

Yelp
Nice place to meet up with friends. Bar and staff were very friendly and welcoming. Had the ceviche- very light and fresh- perfect amount of acid and salt.

Vindo C.

Yelp
Great food, great drinks. Great vibe. Went here after a whole day of walking around town, the whole experience was totally spot on! Highly recommend the crispy pork fried rice with egg!! Totally worth every penny!

Lindsay T.

Yelp
Mesero left a lot to be desired in terms of service. We were there for a working lunch. Typically, I like to keep lunch to an hour, but we were here for almost 2 hours. Our server was there in the beginning but was nonexistent when food was delivered and the check was dropped off. I'll think twice before coming back here.

Smitha S.

Yelp
I have been coming here since they opened and lately the service and food is heading south. Don't make the mistake of taking a table and just ordering drinks, they will let you know that you need to order food, move to the bar or leave. Another time I ordered the redfish, which I have ordered multiple times, this time around the fish has multiple scales. It was disgusting to have to remove a chunk of scales out of your mouth. When I mentioned this to the server, he asked if everything else was ok. As if having scales, in a fish you are serving is ok. Very disappointed!

Ashlyn P.

Yelp
The service was so incredible! Our waitress was the sweetest I wish we had her name. The food was so good and just kept getting better. We had the loaded peppers as an appetizer and they were amazing! The food came out pretty quick and tasted so perfect would definitely recommend to everyone stopping in Dallas area

Paloma S.

Yelp
Everything was wonderful - we had a lovely group dinner. Service was great and the food was top notch.

Summer H.

Yelp
Good service and enjoyed the variety of dips/salsas provided with the chips before the meal. However, quite pricey for the amount of food given

Shawna G.

Yelp
The service is great. The food and cocktails were mediocre. The chicken in their enchiladas was very dry. The fish tacos lacked flavor. We have eaten at the Lovers/Inwood location and the food was much more flavorful.

Gladys A.

Yelp
Loved Loved Mesero it was amazing for starters we had the queso fundido with flour tortillas it was delicious the cheese pull was bomb. I had the enchiladas oaxaqueñas which were amazing the mole had so much flavor as well as the chicken in the enchiladas. My partner had the steak fajitas which were super flavorful. Everything was great the vibes were immaculate with great reggaetón music to vibe to. Our waiter was very attentive and always came by to ask us if we needed anything. We went for our valentines date and will definitely be back. Amazing elevated mexican dishes that are rich in flavor.

Dre V.

Yelp
I love this place!!! So happy that it's walking distance from me! Everything is so tasty and the staff is very friendly. I have even had them cater a party for me and my guests really enjoyed the food. My son is 1 and he loves the Rojo rice, black beans, and the pinto beans. Definitely a neighborhood gem.

Elias F.

Yelp
Great Mexican food Great service. Enjoyed the salmon and fajitas. Enjoy coming here each time

Liz A.

Yelp
Service good. Food delicious! Bad sewage stench in nearby parking lot. Might be offensive if you eat outdoors

Kevin B.

Yelp
Dang good food! You definitely ant more. Took my dad to lunch there and even he was impressed with the appearance and taste. Will return soon!!

Kevin E.

Yelp
We have been coming here for years... love the food. Came home tired and ordered take-out. Food was OK but not not hot by any means... the process in the store was a mess and with no one owning pick-up. What really upset me was we ordered a $120 gallon margarita mix and we got 3/4 a gallon per their vessel- called the manager and he said, "sorry- no ice". Horrible response... he should have said let me give you half off and we will make sure this never happens again. Customer looking at a vessel you gave me that shows not at the ordered quantity is very aggravating. Mesero- thumbs down on execution and customer response (especially from store manager- with a customer that called in). A $750 a year Mesero customer is now going to mi Cecina and catino Loredo.

Kristen G.

Yelp
First time for this restaurant, and the service was very attentive, liked the diversity of the menu, and I think the pricing is good. Will definitely go again.

Katrina D.

Yelp
I was excited to try this restaurant because its very close to our house and we had heard good things but unfortunately did not live up to the hype. The place was surprisingly packed which we didn't mind but the food was terrible. I'm not sure if what I got was accidentally salted twice but all I could taste was pure salt and not much other flavor (coming from someone who usually over salts her food). The service was fine-nothing to write home about and the hostess was high school aged with a chip on her shoulder. Two stars because ambiance was good, and the service wasn't terrible.

Chelsea R.

Yelp
Queso blanco and ceviche! That is all one needs in life. Well, at least in the summertime. Mesero has the BEST shrimp ceviche in town! Perfect for sharing or even make it your meal. Especially if you are an avocado fan. I love light salads and such during this warm time of year so this place does the trick. Plus incredible drinks and frozen 'ritas! They are pricey though but worth it. Sit outside and do some people watching or enjoy on a not so hot day. There isn't a ton of shade so I'd save the patio for an overcast day. The service was excellent as well. Their chips are HOT and fresh and they bring out 3 different types of hot salsas! My fave was the green one, it was super fresh with just a light zest, not overly spicy. I could have made a meal out of their green salsa alone! I'm also very picky about my queso blanco so theirs is just perfect, with just the right amount of thickness. I've been to other Mesero locations and I have to say this one was my favorite just for the service and experience alone on the patio. I will absolutely be back. It is around lots of shops and cute places so you could kinda make a day out of it. Lots of free parking too.

Jennifer H.

Yelp
Mesero is an excellent addition to Preston Hollow Village. It's an upscale establishment that serves delicious Mexican food, wonderful drinks, and has consistently good service. My favorite thing to get here is the ceviche because it's always so refreshing and it's served in a rectangular shape - talk about presentation! It consists of citrus marinated tiger shrimp, avocados, jalapeños, tomatoes, green onions, and cilantro. If you want something healthy and light, this is a must order. Even though it's under the appetizers section, it's large enough to be an entree. The cremaqueso enchiladas, although on the heavier side, is another one of my favorite dishes at Mesero. The sauce is so creamy and smooth and pairs well with the cilantro cream that's drizzled on top. The arroz rojo that comes with the entree is flavorful and tastes great mixed with the cremaqueso sauce. I also want to mention that the complimentary chips and the colorful salsa trio is to die for! They are not the typical chips and salsa you get at other Mexican restaurants. The chips here are thicker and holds the salsa well without breaking. There is plenty of parking - garage, street, and valet. If you're in the mood for fancy Mexican food, I'd recommend coming here!
