I’ve had incredible vegan food before, so I have high expectations and this place didn’t meet them. It was decent, but I’m not running to go back. The best part is the atmosphere on the patio outside, if you like plants.
The service was the worst of all. After not being greeted and waiting to be seated for several minutes, I finally asked someone for assistance. After sitting down, I was ignored for 10 minutes. Several waitresses passed by me; none of them offered to bring me a menu or water. At some point, I went inside to get someone’s attention, and one of the waitresses literally skirted into the kitchen after making eye contact with me—really weird!
The food did arrive at my table quickly, however. It baffles me that a bowl of tahini spread would not come with bread—they make you buy it separately. This is Israel, a.k.a., the Middle East, where a meal is not complete without bread.
