Hands down the best doner I had in Istanbul . Meat was fatty and juicy and the fresh baked bread was divine. Highly recommend this spot and the gentlemen cutting the meat is a hoot too …. Super friendly and welcoming .

Interesting takeaway döner spot located in the heart of Istanbul’s historic district. The döner is made from sliced meat rather than minced, giving it a more authentic texture and flavor. There’s always a line, but it moves quickly, and you can choose the portion size according to your appetite. The meat is juicy and tasty — not exceptional, but definitely good and satisfying. There’s also a small seating area across the street if you prefer to sit and enjoy your meal.

Probably the best doner we had during our time in Istabul. When there's a line of locals out front waiting for food you know you're onto a good thing... There's a space to sit across the seat but most patrons we saw took theirs to go.

This was our first "street" food in Turkiye, Istanbul. The chef was very friendly and energetic. He even took a picture with me because my wife was holding a camera filming the meat haha

Very cool experience, authentic place "from the 70s". It is located under an old mosque. The shawarma meat tastes great and the people are nice. There is a saloon that belongs to the restaurant across the street where you can take your food, sit and eat.

Strongly recommend for a local and authentic Kebab/Doner. Lamb is full of flavour, however recommend ordering the lamb in a box with a pitta separate and making your own food, rather than the kebab they propose. The bread is a little dry, and the kebab lacked sauce/vegetables. The dedicated eating space is clean and well organised which adds to the customer experience. Good value for money

Long queue to buy. After purchasing you can eat at the sitting area located opposite. Taste quite nice.

Try this for a delicious but quick bite. They have a salon across from the shop. It is good döner/gyros place in this area. I think it is also affordable.

Great Döner, definitely a local's favorite, as the menu was completely in Turkish and the proprietor didn't speak any English. Great place to grab a bite after a few hours in the Grand Bazaar.
