Sometimes you might be in disagreement with a restaurant over what "medium" means for a steak. This was not the case however, as we were many that ordered medium and most of them were while mine was almost entirely raw.
I tried to show them, but they weren't very receptive and they didn't exactly check up on the table underway. So I just left the raw part on the plate.
I would give them 2 starts because they were friendly in the beginning and had a good wine selection, but then I think about how crazy the raw steak and no responsibility for it really is. And there were something like 5 grams of potato next to the steak, they might as well not have included vegetables.
And so my conclusion is bottom grade in every category except atmosphere. The building is beautiful, and so is the inside - except for the freezer and refrigerator being out with the customer tables. Not enough room to put it elsewhere, so I understand.
Update: The restaurant has responded to my review with a bunch of nonsense, trying to make it sound like it was a corner of a steak. It was almost the entire steak. And I did try to communicate. Anyway, I will take their point about kid-friendliness. I would not consider it as such, but if they have kids coming every day I will change my response to that question. There is indeed parking nearby, but it was full the entire time I was there, which was in low season. Therefore I said difficult. I would not say impossible, and I haven't done so. It's just the standard Google Maps questions it asks you before leaving a review. It's also not wheelchair accessible by any standard, you'd have to lift and carry it by hand. But this was not a big issue in my review, just a standard question asked by Google Maps.
I maintain my position that going here as a vegetarian would not be a good experience, but I also maintain my position that this is fair enough, and it is not a problem in my review.
I have also changed the atmosphere rating up to 3 stars.
