Best steak I've eaten in a long time. Definitely try the Sirloin on grill. It is so well cooked, and the portion is large. They are an expert on steaks. I don't recommend fish here though. Silvia is a great waitress and was very helpful. The place is very crowded so everyone is in a rush and you will probably wait in the line a bit. Definitely worth it and would come again, thanks.

I went to Jerez de la Frontera for a day trip and stopped by this place for an asado lunch — it was absolutely delicious. At first, I was a bit nervous since it seemed like a very local spot and the staff didn’t speak much English, but they were incredibly welcoming and did their best to make communication easy for us. We ordered the grilled octopus with potatoes, the steak with potatoes, and some grilled peppers — all of which were packed with flavor and beautifully cooked. A proper, first-hand taste of authentic asado!

Iberico mix plate for 2. Blood sausage - good, pork sausage - ok. Iberico pork (it is awesome when cooked right)- cremated. Plus two massive chunks of chewy lard - could not figure out why. House wine is the worst in the the entire Spain.

a wonderful experience! A hidden, authentic restaurant in the old town with a lively terrace and friendly service is always a delight. They serve not only delicious food but also provide a unique atmosphere to enjoy local culture. We tried Lamb Stew, chorizo on the flame and brochettes beef Lion , grandmothers pie , they were all absolutly delicious. Thank you. Wine is also very good

It was really delicious food. Fast service We arrived ~10 mins earlier than opening time then did not wait for a table.

The lamb stew is the BEST FOOD IN SPAIN so far! Highly recommend! Deserts are also nice to go with coffee. We also tried grilled octopus, which has a smoked taste and nicely cooked. Well done!

A bustling place on a Friday night. By 9 pm there was an hour long queue of people waiting for a table. God knows why. We had a selection of tapa and the food ranged from dry pork to lamb stew swelling in oil rather than gravy. The BBQ sauce was straight out of a bottle. The wines and Sherries served ranged from the rough to the rank. We’ve had worse but a complete mystery as to why this place is so popular. Perhaps we should have had the steak.

Tasty food and friendly waiters but small portions. The cheese platter included only 4 pieces of cheese. On the ribs were nearly no meat. A glass of a large beer should be full. Always crowded place. Someone should tell the waiters that it's not hygienic to touch the full glasses of beer on the top where customers have their mouth, when they bring them to the tables.

Yelp
Kinda disappointing. We had tapas at 3 different places within walking distance and this was by far the least enjoyable experience of the bunch. Miscellaneous grumbling so include the following: Potatoes with garlic aioli was all about the sauce - a heavy dish that was served cold. Piles of garlicky mayo over not entirely soft chunks of potato. Not at all what I've had before when ordering this dish. Far less than half was eaten. Lamb chops lacked seasoning. Hard to screw up salt, pepper and olive oil but this dish was one-note from start to finish. Pan con Roquefort was the highlight of the meal but still wasn't what I expected. Try to picture this dish in your head and it probably looks a lot like a small slice of Roquefort spread onto a large slice of bread and then broiled. Not here, instead they ladled a Roquefort-flavored cream sauce over a since of their house bread that had been toasted on one side. Good but unnecessarily fattening. Jamon croquettes- greasy and heavy. Very lean on the jamon. The best part of this dish was the bed of house-made fried potato chips. Cut extra thick and delicious. Never received the gazpacho I ordered so I can't comment on it. Service was indifferent at best. By far the best bite of the night was across the way at the gelato place. Mint with chocolate was the choice and what a great choice it was!

Yelp
Worst meal of our trip in Spain. We went there based on several positive reviews but found the food more than lacking - it was extremely ordinary, or over cooked/ chewy and/or swimming in grease - largely inedible. And every meat dish came with potato chips. We ordered 5 tapas & TG we didn't request more as we couldn't eat what was on the plates. The best parts of the meal were the olives, bread & our bottle of wine. Oh, and we had to put up with terrible, unsolicited "entertainment" who came around begging for payment after their solos. Give this place a wide berth if you're a foodie.
