One of the most delicious lamb and beef combinations plates ever had. Honestly you should be fan of fatty lamb otherwise try other mixtures but trust me you’ll be satisfied. Never skip their greek salad, you’ll need that freshness as a side of your food whatever it is. The greek fries plate is a to the point portion of home fries and greek feta. If you’re in Greek town don’t miss this place.

Had dinner at Messini Greek Restaurant and overall, it was a good experience. The portions are generous, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. The Greek fries are definitely worth the extra $3—crispy and flavorful!
As a vegetarian, I ordered the veggie pita, but it was basically just the salad ingredients served warm. It wasn’t bad, but it didn’t feel like a real meal, so I wouldn’t say it’s the best option for vegetarians. If you eat meat, you’ll probably have a much better experience!

Visited here on a thurday spring night. Plenty room for dine in.
Nice staff too.
The inside atmosphere was a bit warm and it was a bit old. Especially the washrooms smelled like an old place but things were sufficiently clean.
We ordered mixed beef/lamb plate. Came with a salad, and greek fries. Loved the fries and salad but we didn't like the meet at all. It was full of fat and seemed a bit low quality.

I have eaten here for years. The consistency of the food is great and it is very well priced. If you want to have high end Greek cuisine experience this is not a place for you but if you are hungry and want to get a quick delicious bit it is highly recommended.

Food:3.5. Service: 4.5. Atmosphere:4.
Food came in great portion and staff was friendly. Chicken souvlaki was our favorite, tender and marinated well. Lamb and beef gyro was a bit disappointing, felt like meat served in the same plate were not cooked evenly. Some over cooked and some not cooked well enough. Greek salad was in a big portion as well.

Out of town friends came to visit and they wanted to try some Greek food. We went to Messini since it is one of the popular options around the area. Pricing was reasonable and portions were good. We had the calamari which was fantastic, the salad and the Greek fries. All amazing. However, we all had the chicken pita and we all seemed to agree that the chicken was very dry. It was lacking taste and felt very, very dry, almost as if it wasn’t recently cooked. I’d say this place is kind of average and would likely try another spot before coming back! Atmospheres and service was great though, it’s just their chicken pita needs some work. Not on the pics as I forgot.

Went here for lunch shortly after they opened on a weekday. Partner had the mixed plate and I the chicken gyro plate combo which includes a bottled drink and choice of side of fries/roast potato/rice. Upgrade to Greek fries for extra $3.
Order took about 10/15 min with Greek fries coming out first. Feta serving was generous and overall was nice and soft and crumbly which provided nice balance to the coin cut fries.
Mixed plate was a little dry. Maybe that’s why ketchup is also offered at the same time?? Lamb taste was strong. Did not try the beef. Overall heavy and serving was enough for two meals.
Chicken plate seemed fresher. Not dry. Tasted like rotisserie. Not salty which is good. Could’ve benefited from some acidity to cut through the roast and fries like lemon or at least a wedge on the side, though not sure how Greek that is.
Overall bit pricey for fried food and roasted meat - with roast meats being hit or miss on the dryness (chicken>mixed plate)

Get the combination meal- for $25 you get 2 pitas or meats, 1 huge side, 1 decently sized salad! Could easily feed 2 people plus an app if you’re really hungry. The fries are actually shown in the picture, they’re circular. And their service and wine was amazing too!
