Mestizo At The Santa Maria

We had Christmas dinner here. The meal was delicious, served on time and hot. Staff were gracious and attentive. The waitress even brought out mosquito repellant. We were staying here and well come back

Have stayed several times in this hotel and by far the breakfast is one of the best in Panama City both in quality and variety. In addition, highly recommended for its atmosphere as well as the complimentary valet parking. It's really a hassle free experience.

I visited this place while staying at the Santa Maria Hotel. Totally worth it! After making my check in, I was hungry and it was my first time in Panama. I was craving something fresh a Mestizo delivered just what I was looking for. First, they serve a fresh baked bread that is delicious! It comes with a Garlic and Herbs butter. Then I ordered Tuna Tartare and Salmon. Prices are affordable. Totally worth it!

Was visiting the area and stopped by this restaurant and this place is a must try. The Greek and Caesar salads was really good. Didn’t have the hamburger but it looked great and was told by the person eating the burger that it was the best burger in Panama. The Mojito was in the top three Mojitos I’ve had and the other drink (which I can’t remember the name) was another delicious surprise. So if you are playing golf at the resort definitely stay and eat at this restaurant.

The food and drinks are fantastic, and the service was prompt and friendly. The prices are pretty average, or even on the low end, for a place such as this. The bartender spoke very very very little English and often had to run off to get someone to translate, but that was no fault of his... It just made things difficult for me, haha :) if I were to return, I'd have more tapas / appetizers, so I could have a lot of different things. The different dumplings was my favorite dish!

The first meal I had here was a hamburger, because I knew how delicious the beef is in Panama and Costa Rica! The mushroom and mozzarella are a great addition for a unique taste.

we loved their house music 🎶 view of swimming pool 🌴 felt like we were in vacation. 😍 their house bread was really yummy. we ordered entraña and was good 👍🏻
