The Met staff are lovely, kind, efficient and helpful. Breakfast good, yummy juices, cereal but no milk, maybe if I had asked, olives, breads, spreads and tomatoes, standard Turkish breakfast I think, lots to choose from and eggs made to order.  The overall hotel temperature is 24 C, but there is NO air conditioning control for individual rooms, at least when I was there. The thermostat in the room did not work. I had a hard time sleeping,  it was either open the window and hear a bunch of noise from the street, letting in light and fresh air or close the window for more quiet but warm room. As one who needs cool for sleeping, this was not good for me. My stay was in mid March. Parking was harrowing, there is no space dedicated to the hotel to use for check in, but I managed to get a spot, parallel park and then hand the keys over to the fast, attentive staffer who parked the car. Yay. Other days there happened to be easy parking in front. That's what I get for getting a hotel right in the middle of the super busy city. Room was clean, adequate space. Location was great, 8 min walk to fun shopping areas, restaurants and 12 min to the seaside pedestrian walkway. Safe at night for me, single woman in her sixties. I drove to Ephesus on two separate days 1 hr away, because there is so much to see there. Nice stay, pros and cons.

If you're looking for a stylish, comfortable, and centrally located hotel in İzmir, Met Boutique Hotel is an excellent choice. From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted with exceptional service and a warm atmosphere, making it clear that this hotel places a strong emphasis on guest satisfaction. The hotel itself is modern, beautifully designed, and thoughtfully decorated, with a blend of contemporary style and Turkish charm. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-equipped, offering all the amenities you could need for a comfortable stay, including comfortable beds, high-quality linens, and a well-maintained bathroom. The attention to detail in the room design adds to the overall welcoming and relaxing environment. The staff at Met Boutique Hotel are incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with anything you may need. They go above and beyond to make sure your stay is as pleasant as possible, offering great recommendations for local attractions, restaurants, and things to do in İzmir. One of the standout features of the hotel is the *breakfast* – it’s a generous spread of fresh, delicious options, with both traditional Turkish and international choices to start your day off right. The hotel also has a nice café/bar area where you can relax with a drink after a busy day of sightseeing. In terms of location, *Met Boutique Hotel* is perfectly situated in *Izmir’s city center*, with easy access to key attractions like *Kemeraltı Bazaar*, *Konak Square*, and the *seafront*. It’s within walking distance of many shops, restaurants, and cafes, making it a great base for exploring the city. The Wi-Fi works well throughout the hotel, which is an added bonus for business travelers or anyone needing to stay connected. But speed is little bit slow. The hotel also offers convenient airport transfers and a range of additional services, adding to the overall convenience of your stay. Overall, Met Boutique Hotel is a fantastic choice for anyone visiting İzmir. With its comfortable rooms, excellent service, and ideal location, it provides a perfect blend of luxury and convenience at a reasonable price. Whether you're visiting for business or leisure, this hotel offers an outstanding experience and will make your stay in İzmir unforgettable.

The Met is a perfectly good hotel in a good location in Izmir. The rooms are large and comfortable, the staff-- like most in Turkey-- are extremely friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself is clean and attractive. The only downside is that it is a few blocks from most of the action in Izmir. There are a lot of hotels in Izmir, and, while there is nothing wrong with the Met, you can find very similar hotels that are probably better located.

It was our 4th time in the hotel and we always enjoy being in Met Hotel. Already the welcome makes you feel coming home. No matter if you speak Turkish, German or English, the people are friendly and supportive at any time. Not to forget the outstanding breakfast with the excellent service. Thank you, we are very much looking forward to our next Izmir visit.

A decent business hotel with good location - rail and dining options. ||They had excellent laundry service which was a life saver and quick! Breakfast starts early at 7.30am, so that’s good for anyone who has an early start. But they allow anyone who has an earlier start to grab a cup of tea or hardboiled egg etc whatever is ready along the buffet line at the wee hour.

Details are very important in hotel business. I had three weird experiences in this hotel. ||First, you just get one keycard. I was with my family and I usually wake up early. You need to knock door everytime to get back in room and wake up everybody. I demand extra keycard and their response was, "We have just one keycard for everyroom, we can assist you to open door with mastercard." It is ridiculous. Details!||Second, we ran out of toilet paper. So, I asked reception for extra toilet paper. How normally a receptionist should response? "Ofcourse, immediately we fulfill your demand". The respond I get was, " In couple of hours house keeping will clean your room, and put extra toilet papers". I had to explain them I need it now, ridiculous. Details!||Thirdly, if a hotel employee is sincere about being nice and kind, he/she should be nice and kind all the time. First day acting nice and kind, the next day acting snob and bossy is not right. The lady works at bar and restaurant area did exactly like this. Ridiculous. Details!||Besides, these bad experiences, good things also exist. Hotel location is very good. Rooms and generally facility is clean. Breakfast is over average. The gentleman works at hotel door who welcomes you, is one of the kindest person. He talks kind, acts kind and he is doing best to fulfill guest demands. I personally thank him.||These little details damage the standards and quality of hotel. In my next visit to Izmir, probably I will consider other hotels with same price.

The first impression of the room was the smell of stale smoke. The door would lock and so we were given a physical key (as a posed to a key card) to lock up when leaving. Parking wasn’t all that easy either, as we were on a busy road and could only leave the vehicle out side to unload luggage before moving it to an adjacent road else where. Had a very poor nights sleep due to the noise of the road, as the glass was not sound proofed at all.
