The salon itself felt quite pleasant (although the music was too loud), and it was a positive experience that an available appointment could be booked quickly online.
However, I was disappointed because I had booked an appointment for gel polish removal and a simple manicure. I also clearly stated on-site that I wanted removal + manicure. When it was time for polishing and I was asked to choose a color, I repeated again that I did not want gel polish. Since the technician did not understand, another staff member was called, and I repeated my request to her as well. At the end of the procedure, I asked whether I could remove the polish myself, and I was told that removal would require returning to the salon.
Because it was not possible to clarify on-site—due to the language barrier—that my request was gel polish removal and a simple manicure, I later sent an email asking for a refund of the overpaid amount. The service I wanted was cheaper, and in addition, providing the wrong service put me in an uncomfortable situation, as I now have to return to the salon to have the gel removed.
I was not offered a refund, only a new procedure, which no longer suited my schedule. The procedure I originally booked was supposed to take 1 hour, but the service I received took 2 hours, causing my family to wait an additional hour for me.
In addition, I was not satisfied with the quality of the service provided. The procedure was performed inconsistently and unevenly. The attached photos speak for themselves.
I also provided this feedback to the salon by email, but unfortunately they were not willing to accommodate my request and compensate for the incorrectly performed procedure.
