Meteor Central

I had a very pleasant 4-night stay at this hotel in June, when I want to Cluj-Napoca for work. I was in a Deluxe Suite, with a great bed, a desk and a lot of space. I did not hear anything from my room and the bathroom and separate restroom were both very clean and looked new. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay pleasant. The breakfast is nothing special, but it's convenient and has some options. The location is amazing, you can walk all over the charming downtown of Cluj-Napoca from this hotel which was very convenient for me. There is a convenient store very close to it that stays open late, as well as many restaurant options close by.

Someone, somehow, decided to put a "fitness room" at the 3rd floor on an old building, with WOOD FLOOR. Every time someone is putting down a weight or toss it, you feel like you need to dodge because its coming in your way on the floor beneath. When somebody is running on the treadmill, the floor and walls are vibrating like hell. I don't recommend taking the rooms upper then 210. The position of the hotel is great, the rooms are ok, but that "fitness room" its just crazy.

Went there in december 2023. Parking is a hustle as the hotel does not offer this. You could use the public parking but it is not free, and good luck with finding a spot. Rooms are ok if you only stay for one night. Hotel is mot that modern, you have only keys for entry, no keycards. Overall, good money for the location. Nothing fancy, just bed where you can spend a night.

If you are traveling by car, prepare for some "challenges". On booking.com the hotel advertises free parking - there is no such amenity as the place is spot-on in the heart of the old town. The room was nice, while the bathroom was showing some signs of decay... The breakfasts deserve highest praise, either sweet or savoury - there's plenty options to choose from. Location is perfect, almost everything interesting and important is within a short walk.

No AC in the top room and the window couldn't be fully covered so there was a bit of light coming through. Still, the fan worked more than enough even though it's a bit loud but had no problems at all! Enjoyed my stay and was more than enough for the festival!

Rooms are clean but not up to date. No water cooker for tea or coffee available in your room. Hot water takes a very long time to arrive. But pretty cheap so when you can live with these limitations, this is a good hotel.

It's very clean, and great location , you can go to every centre corner easily by feet. The people there are very very nice, very flexible, and friendly. I can only strongly recommend this hotel. For sure next time if I travel to Cluj again, I will take this hotel definitely again. Thank you Meteor Central, for the nice experience.

I was put in a room in which the ceiling was leaking, as well as single beds are very small as for me. Otherwise, the room was normal, nothing unusual 15 square meters at most. I absolutely did not like constantly looking at the yellow spot above my head, I put 2 stars, no more... My business trip to this city went downhill because of this terrible bed. Breakfast was also at the level of an ordinary stall with buns
