This was our second stay at this Wonderful Hotel. Well located to the market and all sights. Very professional reception team. Great room, big comfortable bed for a quiet relaxing stay. Breakfast is superb and substantive. All the team do a wonderful job to ensure an enjoyable stay. As regular visitors to this City that have tried other establishments, we have realised this Hotel is our number one choice.

The hotel is in a great location if arriving by train. Some reviews referred to it being noisy but I was on the fifth floor with an inner court view which was very quiet. A warm welcome at reception and my room was ready at 11 am, which was a nice bonus. The room was spacious and had all the facilities required; mini bar, safe, tv, kettle. Beware there was no price list for the mini bar apart from a QR code which I could not read. Breakfast was served in the restaurant which provided a lovely calm atmosphere to start the day. There was an abundance of foods to accommodate everyone's tastes including the bonus of a glass of Prosecco. It also had coffee machines that produced a proper sized cup of coffee. For me the only negative of this hotel was the 50 euros charged for a personal transfer to the airport. In all , this was a superb base close to shopsm, restaurants and bars in addition to many of the sites of the city.

Lovely hotel full of character. Staff were extremely polite and helpful at all hours. Food in the restaurant was delicious and service was fast. ||The room was great, had everything I needed for a pleasant stay. Cleaners came in to change towels, tidy up etc. every day. Trams outside created a bit of noise but the hotel provides earplugs. I didn't find the trams an issue as much as I did the road repairs which started late at night (not the hotel's fault)! ||The hotel is right within the centre and within walking distance of all the major sightseeing spots. Only a few mins walk from Autoosta bus stop if you get the #22 bus from RIX airport.

This is a beautiful historic hotel with a good restaurant for both dinner and breakfast, and it's located within walking distance of just about everything. There is no need for a car in Riga, but as we were road-tripping through the Baltics, we had one. And that was the only flaw we found with this hotel. No one seemed to have any idea where we should park the car, other than on the street which was enormously expensive. The staff needs to have more knowledge on this topic as we were there for 3 nights and never got any decent advice. We opted to include breakfast in our reservation and we would recommend this; it's a generous buffet that even included prosecco.

Love this well appointed hotel. Great breakfasts and wonderful service. We booked the smallest room, and it was small but well appointed with a clean, new bathroom and an opening window with good views of the boulevard. Great value for money. Would recommend.

Good hotel, great location, good breakfast. The problem, like most hotels in Riga's Old Town - no parking! So if you're traveling by car, I suggest you do your homework in advance about where to leave your car. And it won't be cheap.

Excellent hotel. Very welcoming and the location was perfect. Right by the bus station and the old town and it's amazing night life. Lift is a bit slow! The room we had was huge. Apparently it can be tram noisy but I didn't hear a thing. They did provide earplugs just in case
