This hotel is nothing fancy, but it does what it’s supposed to. The room was clean, the air conditioning worked, and the location was close to where I needed to be. The furniture looked a little old but was in usable condition. Breakfast was limited in variety, but fresh. Reception staff were professional and answered questions politely. There’s nothing wrong with this hotel, it just doesn’t offer anything beyond the basics. Fine for a night or two.

This is the worst hotel we have been to. It doesn't cost 100 euros, maximum 40 euros. The only advantage is the excellent location in the very center. Very cramped room. One bed was a small sofa, in terrible condition, I could only sleep on half and my back hurt. The pillows are cheap. At night the refrigerator suddenly made noise and I had to turn it off. Also, our toilet flush tank did not work; it leaked and made noise all night, and we had to flush the kettle. Also a strange head looking out the window. And at night there was a smell of cigarettes. And of course it was noisy, but it’s the center, that’s okay. I slept for about 3 hours and I don't recommend this place. People come here only out of desperation, when everything is busy, when there’s a marathon or a carnival.

This hotel is showing its age. It's adequate accomodation, and is comfortable, however everything feels like it's from the 70s. Everything works - just - but a lot of the fittings and fixtures are in need of a total overhaul. There is parking but you need to book in first, and as there is no where to pull up, this is a tricky task. Breakfast is actually served in a cafe next door to the hotel... Not so bad really but the choices are very very limited, and there is virtually no indoor seating so you'll eat outside on the pavement tables. You'd be better off skipping breakfast and walking to a better nearby eatery. The manager was ace, a real gentleman who showed us to our room, and made sure we were happy with it. Thank you! This is one of the few places to stay right in the heart of Lemosos, so what there is to see and do is right out of the door. That's why we liked our stay here. After a nice evening meal by the marina, we picked up a bottle of red, and chilled out on the balcony watching passers by. I think we got our money's worth here, despite the antique feel to the hotel. After all, it's just a place to sleep.

We stayed at the Metropole for one night but would’ve happily stayed longer. Great location for bars and dozens of little shops and restaurants amongst beautiful little streets, the Metropole is a few minutes from the marina, castle and beach. We arrived without a booking, the manager Steve was so lovely and helpful. We got car parking and a room with 3 single beds at a good rate. The room and bathroom were spotless, the air conditioning was really good and kept the room cool really well. The building had a lovely nostalgic feel to it and it felt like a family-run little establishment. We got good recommendations from staff who were friendly, Steve was helpful at every opportunity. The bar next door was lots of fun too! We would definitely stay there next tine we go to Limassol!

The hotel is right in the centre of the old town. Near the beach and other amenities. I stayed in room 1 which overlooks the street right next to a club. However it was not too noisy. The room was basic and had all I needed. The staff and in particular Stelios were gfantastic. He honestly couldn’t have done more to be helpful. Always going out of his way with a quick cheerful chat. He easily scores 10/10. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to my friends and family. I didn’t eat at the place so can’t comment on the food. Very impressed and enjoyed my stay. Thank you. Oh and also thank you to poor George who was on the night shift, also very friendly and helpful😊

Well no water in pipes so toilet won’t flush. Had hot water so had to put shower head in toilet tank to fill it up. Rather grumpy old man to check you in. Good location. Ants in the room. Hardest beds in the universe. I don’t think I would stay here again. Breakfast café is excellent

When we arrived we received the loveliest welcome from Steve. He showed us our room and how things worked which hasn't happened in a while with other hotels! |We parked at a nearby car park and paid 15 Euros for 24 hrs but after speaking to Steve we can park for free at his own car park. So my advice is to try and find a space, go to hotel and Steve will let u in his car park. Finding a space is the hard part! |The room was okay, clean , with TV etc, and a small balcony, there was a kettle with no tea or coffee which was strange. Breakfast was via Gregory's bakery next door, you order and they bring to your outside table. Overall the hotel was basic, clean, with friendly welcoming staff , very central for sightseeing and we will use again if visiting.

This was our 4th stay here and our last. We stayed 4 nights and had NO hot water for the entire stay. No basin hot water and no shower. The manager did his best to rectify the situation but with no success. On the penultimate day I had a delightful encounter with the owner who accused me of 'Shouting like a baby' in front of other guests. By that time I think my protests were justified. If you stay at the weekend, don't bother going to bed before 5 am as the people leaving the night club next door shout and laugh in the street until the early hours. Other places nearby and we will stay in one of them next year.
