Absolutely awful experience staying here due to the noise. Made the mistake of not reading the reviews before and only saw them just before arriving, as you can see from scrolling through the reviews the hotel is nextdoor to a nightclub. When checking in we asked the receptionist about potential noise coming from the nightclub, she said that nowhere in the hotel can you hear any noise from it and that she would make sure to provide us with a "quiet room" just to be sure. This turned out to be a complete lie, the nightclub nextdoor was booming all night, so loud that the entire room was vibrating, also the AC seems to be broken so the room was boiling. We couldn't open any windows because we would be deafened by the noise. Stayed here for two nights and didn't get any sleep. Do not stay here if you plan on sleeping.

The hotel is really old, the room was clean but the breakfast is a total disaster, very limited sweet options and poor quality

Reasonable standard, dated and needs a lot of refurbishment work. Very noisy outside

Pretty old-timey hotel in the middle of Kaunas. The receptionist was super nice. We got two rooms– the one for two people was relatively small. If you flushed the toilet it would make noise for a *long* time. The bed was comfy though. Just an average, aged hotel room. The three-person room, however, was quite modern. We had a great TV and the room was spacious. Only downside being that it wasn't properly cleaned– there was a half-eaten sausage in the corner of our room. (interesting convo with the family!) Breakfast was lacking. Walls were thin ~8€ p/person.

3 nights in Kaunas room only|Nice and spacious room with wood floor, great shower and toiletries provided. Its an old and dated hotel but was very clean inside.|Room not ready at check in but that was 12.30pm and was told come back at 3pm, I went back about 6pm and collected my bag (stored securely while waiting for room) and all was good.|Not a great sleep, every movement the bed squeaked and I'd say the mattress had seen better days.|No safe, no fridge, flat screen TV with lots of channels to choose from, staff very pleasant.|The location was perfect and easy to get to at a cost of 1 euro from the airport on bus 29. It is situated right bang in the middle of the long pedestrian street, close to the river and arena, 10 minutes to the big shopping centre and 20 mins to the cathedral. Bus and train station maybe 25 mins walk.|Loads of restaurants to choose from, but beware the hours they advertise aren't right as they were all closing earlier, some by 8pm.|Would I stay again? Most definitely, great value, great location, maybe I'd hope for a better bed

Historical hotel with beautiful lobby in the city centre of Kaunas. Rooms were cleaned but furniture was a little bit old. Breakfast was not enaugh, there was basically no option to choose for sweet breakfast. I don't reccomend you to choose this hotel during week-end. There is a music bar in the ground floor, they were making noise till 4 am. I understand that this is not a fault of hotel - just be aware of the fact. The others days were peaceful and quiet.

Terrible! Dirty, mold in the bathroom, strange smell. Poor service. The breakfast buffet was half cold, the food selection was very minimal, coffee too. The coffee plate is covered with coffee grounds, no effort is made to clean it. €8 for breakfast? Overpriced! After pouring juice for hotel guests, the waiter allows himself to drink from the same container without even pouring it into a glass!! Really bad sound isolation. You can hear all the footsteps and the vacuuming in the hallway at 8:30 in the morning!! In the room, there’s no air conditioner. I understand that this is an interwar themed hotel that is over 100 years old. BUT, cleanliness and everything else should match the price. The only plus is the location.

Terrible! Absolutely terrible! Rooms were dirty, mould everywhere in the bathroom, stained sheets, odd smell, really loud working fridge, the shower head was leaking, no sound isolation at all. Some people in our group were lucky to have the street view but the opposite side of the corridor had a charming view of an old and dirty roof that looked more like an abandoned factory. Shout out to the staff! Two of them were particularly “fascinating”. When we arrived, the receptionist was very rude. When I asked if there was an elevator, he said no. So I told him I would need help with my suitcase as I can’t carry heavy luggage due to health issues. The receptionist agreed, walked out of the reception… and then just walked out of the building. I was shocked. I waited for him for 10 minutes hoping that maybe he left to get help, but no he just left me there. Another “fantastic” staff member was the bartender during the breakfast. Close to none food handling hygiene was followed, the restaurant itself was so dirty! Often there was barely any food left and whatever was left was always closer to cold. When I tried to use salt on my food, the salt shaker had tiny holes but the salt used was made of salt crystals that didn’t fit through the holes which was ridiculous and illogical. I asked staff for normal table salt but they never gave it. Once he took everything off the tables and refused to serve another guest even though it was still some time left till the end of breakfast.
