Stunning architecture and an absolutely tranquil scene inside. Come in through the huge, historic doors (look at that hardware!) and sit in a pew for some time to contemplate, rest, and pray. Many from the city come in for that purpose, even when there is no service happening. The natural light flooding in from the whigh windows makes it so peaceful. This is a place you should not miss during your visit to Chihuahua.

The main historic cathedral in Chihuahua, right across the street to the city hall. There's a historic site park and square in between cathedral and city hall, its such a lovely walk from one side to another. People take their time chilling and enjoying the sunshine here. The cathedral itself is of course phenomenon, the two towers symbolise the prestige and heritage of Chihuahua.

This is a beautiful cathedral and a must see when visiting Chihuahua. The central zone where the cathedral is located is has shops, restaurants, and street vendors. It is close to the main square where vendors meet to sell items as well as events take place. It is also located close to the government center where you can visit to learn about some of Chihuahua's history. There are several parking garages within walking distance and the area is very safe.

I did not enter the church ( cuz I might burst into flames lol) but spent a lot of time examining the details of the facade which is a master piece! Intricate details, real throw-back references to the "old church" such as St Francis holding a skull. The artist signed the work in a clever way. I could look at the facade for hours and some day I might return to do just that!

It was very beautiful on the inside and outside. Lots of great architecture.

Post office-turned museum. Frida Kahlo exhibir was awesome. Rest of museum was good though somewhat dark. Lot's of history especially of Fr. Miguel Hidalgo and his martyredom.

Gorgeous church in the heart of the downtown. Nice to sit outside of the church in the square and people watch.
