Lovely church but mas was going on so we didn't get to see much

Lovely cathedral inside and out. The surrounding area has been cleaned up and felt totally safe now. Worth the visit.

It's definitely worth a stop when doing a walking tour of old town Asuncion! Not a grand cathedral, however it's very welcoming and a great place to spend some time.

Nice old church. Had to go to the office to ask to visit the sanctuary.

A nice looking cathedral which stands out as particularly striking alongside the somewhat dismal plaza de armas.
