I will never spend another penny at this store, and I will make sure that everyone around me knows to never shop there.
I spent $12,000 on a Natuzzi sofa from JC Perreault, after being assured it was a high-end product built to last for many years. Before purchasing, I specifically asked about the leather quality and wanted reassurance that, at this price point, I wouldn’t face any issues.
Within just a couple of months, I noticed the leather starting to peel in small areas. Six months after purchase, I made a service call and was told not to worry — “At JC Perreault, we never leave our customers hanging.” That turned out to be another lie.
It took three months of waiting and constant follow-ups (at least eight phone calls) before I was finally told that neither Natuzzi nor JC Perreault would do anything, claiming this was “normal wear” and not a defect. This is unacceptable for a sofa that isn’t even a year old.
They sent a leather specialist to assess the damage, and the moment he saw it was a Natuzzi product, his response was: “I’m not surprised.” Despite this, JC Perreault refused to cover any repair costs.
During the entire process, I was left in the dark, constantly given excuses, and never proactively updated. Spending $12,000 should get you quality, accountability, and basic customer service — not excuses and indifference.
A sofa is made to be sat on. Less than a year after purchase, ours looks like something that’s been used for 20 years. This experience has been beyond disappointing and frustrating.
Not to forget, they didn't even have the courage to have someone call me to explain that they wouldn't do anything for me instead, they sent me an email! Really professional!!!
