"Admire some of the best examples of medieval art in Europe With around 20,000 pieces in its sizeable collection, Vic's Episcopal Museum is home to an amazing collection of Medieval paintings and sculpture, as well as archaeological artifacts like Hispano-Arabic fabrics, as well as dishes, ceramics, silver, and tapestries. The museum is closed on Mondays, and open limited hours Sundays and holidays (10am to 2pm). Students, the unemployed, young people between the age of 10 and 18, as well as Senior citizens can request a discounted ticket price. There is also a reduced price for groups of 15 or more."
Very interesting museum with a huge amount of medieval/religious art. We learned a lot about culture and history in Catalonia. The museum was surprisingly nearly empty on a Saturday afternoon after the market.

Ok. I love art museums. This wasn't it, but I really enjoyed the experience. The collection is huge. The expo is done nicely. Oh, the first Thursday of the month is free admission.

A well curated museum space in general, and one of the most relevant mediaval & eclesiastic art collection in the world. The building itself facilitates a good visit. The nice cafeteria, opening views to the plaza, and the cute shop add the perfect stop&rest corner to the whole experience.

Fantastic museum, incredible collection of Romanesque painted altarpieces- though smaller, its collection rivals the MNAC in Barcelona.

Impressive collection of romanesque art. Worth visiting the room with the special collection that opens at specific times. Also the temporal exhibitions are generally interesting and well presented. You can buy an annual ticket which is cheap.

A very special treat for history buffs. In a not so distant past, when abandoned and little frequented churches in Catalunya were being ransacked and purchased...this museum hosts one of the most impressive Romànic and Gothic church furnishing collections. Beautifully restored and the guides make it just so easy to understand. They really do peak your interest. If you are in Vic, try to go. Fabulous.

Very large, interesting collection. The medieval collection was great, but there was also plenty of artifacts from 3000 BCE to 500 ACE on the basement floor and plenty of 1800s to 1900s things artifacts on first floor.
