They can really deck out the exterior dining a little bit. Lea and other shop has such a great decor and it’s a missed opportunity.
Great spot for drink and the quality is good. I got drunk after one mag and that usual but it’s delicious. Free salsa and we order some guac to go with the drinks. We will be back comes spring and summer.

Total hidden gem. A client of mine in the neighborhood recommended this place, when I asked her where to get the best Mexican food. The room/ambience is simple, but the food is very good. I ordered the fish tacos, and the fish was grilled, as opposed to being fried. The flavors were spot on, well-balanced, and authentically Mexican. I had a regular margarita first, and the. another cocktail called the Imperio Azteca, and both were very well done.. I would have liked to have more of them if I didn’t have to drive. Long story short, if you’re in the area and hungry for Mexican food, don’t hesitate, you will walk out of here with a smile on your face.

Ate here years ago and thought it was kind of a nice space and decent food and reordered delivery recently. It wasn’t good. Got Shrimp a la Diabla and it came with about five shrimp in total swimming in a sea of grease. The rice was also stale and literally hard. The beans were decent but not excellent. Also for a few Pastor and Chicken Tinga tacos. Neither was very good. The Al Pastor tasted ok but was super dry; the tinga was the only one decent thing.
The salsas also sucked, but the Arbol salsa tasted somewhat homemade as opposed to the bottled Arbol salsa at places like Tacos el Bronco.
Overall, I’m bummed considering I liked this place ok when I ate here years ago.

What a hidden gem.. love the “Dimer”. Once you get passed the mis-matched fonts and misspelled words on some of their signage, you’ll realize this place makes some of the most amazing Mexican food in all of NYC. Their birria tacos are especially amazing. Not a fan of their back room with the TVs and wish overall they did more with the space. But the food is amazing.

Just came here for dinner with my fiancé. Had the corn tortilla soup and tamale for appetizers. The corn tortilla soup was divine, packed with flavor, avocado, cheese, tortilla chips, and rich flavor.
We each got enchiladas and they were so good! Also had a delicious Paloma and banana chocolate shake for dessert. A neighbor favorite for us!

Just delightful! Labor Day several places were closed so I ventured to the other side of Coney Island Ave.
I had a frozen mango margarita and mole poblano. The mole poblano came with more then enough tortillas and rice and beans. Usually, I will add some hot sauce but not needed here. The mole was perfectly spiced with oodles of flavor.
The rice and beans were perfection which I added to the mole - heavenly. The salsa and chips were also fantastic. The chips had a nice salty taste and the salsa has a kick but not too spicy.
After my fabulous meal I had coffee which was also nicely spiced. This place knows how to use spice that delights the taste buds. The coconut flan was awesome.
Usually flan is very fluffy without a lot of body. This flan was light and fluffy and had body at the same time. Not overly sweet with good coconut flavor.
The wait staff were friendly and helpful.
Prices were very reasonable. The mole poblano was 18.95. Given we are in inflationary times where else can you have such a delicious dinner for this price.
Can't wait to come back and try other dishes.
