Avoid this company at all costs unless you want to be treated like cattle and waste your valuable vacation time. Took Mexitours for 1/2 day to Xochimilco. It was supposed to be in English, that’s a lie it’s 85% in Spanish and 15% in English. I speak Spanish, my husband doesn’t and we could even sit together for me to translate. Even if we were early for pick up the driver was late and the minivan ( very little AC) was stuffed The guide refused to let my husband sit in front only to allow another young lady to sit next to him in the next minute !!!!!!! Took Uber back before the last “ activity” just to get away and not to pass out in the hot minivan meant for 12 where the guide crammed 20 people.

Our five-day Mayan Heritage tour was outstanding! Our guide, Edwin, and driver, Jose, took us to eight different ruins in four states and I can't possibly decide which spot I liked the most--from the mists of Palenque to the sounds of howler monkeys at Becan, it was all an amazing experience. Edwin was so generous in sharing his wealth of information about Mayan heritage, the ruins themselves, Mexican history and culture, and the natural environment. Jose's mastery of the roads was essential. Both were excellent companions for the week and wonderfully patient and accommodating of the children's needs. We would definitely do another tour with Mexitours! Thank you, Edwin and Jose!

DON’T BOOK THIS PROVIDER!!! Absolute rip off!!!! Tour I booked was in English. Turns out the tour was in spanish and english- so the guide (whose English was bad) translated back and forth. Spent all morning in a seedy bus then they dropped us at some store where we were supposed to do shopping- Museum Anthropologia was supposed to be half of a 5hr tour. In the end we only arrived there one hour before the tour ended. Outrageously bad!!!

I had a tour to Pueblo and Cholula. Eduardo was the guide and driver. He was excellent. He kept complete order to the group and spoke excellent English. He was very informed and made for an educational tour. I think we all enjoyed him. We could not have had a better group. There were 17 of us and we all interacted so nicely. It was so much fun. Some wonderful people from Columbia, a young guy from Germany, some Italians from Canada, and a bunch of us from the states. I wish I would have found a way to keep in touch with some of them. We went to the temple and church in Cholula and a few places in Pueblo. Lunch was provided and it was at a lovely place and very good. It took me by surprise how good it was. I Didn't expect such a great lunch. It was at Hotel Colonial. We even had 25 minutes to shop in the market in Pueblo. Would recommend.

It‘s a tourist trap!!! I booked a tour to Valle de Bravo for the day of the death and it went terrible! First, we drove around Mexico City picking people up for over an hour. We finally started our trip, which took over 3 hours. Once we got there, we were rushed to a boat full of people. By then it was 4 pm and we hadn‘t eaten anything. On the boqt they sold food (what a coincidence!), but the options were very limited and it was overpriced. The guide didn’t even know what we the tour included and asked people for the itenerary. They took us to see some waterfalls and wouldn‘t even let us off the bus. The town was packed, so we spent a lot of time stucked in traffic. The guide then told us that the parade (which was the main attraction of the tour) had been cancelled because of the rain. Later we found out that it was a lie and we just missed it. We then walked around for a while, but there‘s not much to see. The guide kept insisting that we go back to the city, because he had some tour the next morning. Finally, we got on the bus and drove back to the city. Summary: pay money to spend your day sitting on a bus!

We booked a hike to Cerro del Muno from Sayulita and had the best time. Our guide, Salomon, was great and very knowledgeable. Would 100% recommend.

We bought 2 tickets for half day Mexico City Highlight tours with "English speaking guide".There was onlyone guide who was speaking in Spanish only all day long. Did not seem interested in translating in English.Boring and looked like he had no knowledge about anything. Donot book it if you are not a Spanish speaker. Basically just took us to city center which is not hard to find and a free museum. Mexico city is beautiful, but dont waste your money here.
